Hotel berhampiran Children's Zoo, Taipei

Stayed at the Standard Double Room (2 adults). Overall, room was decent was fairly clean (we’re very particular with cleanliness and hygiene), staff was very nice & accommodating, cleaned our rooms when asked to, had the basic amenities, a lounge, and freebies, ie coffee capsule, softdrinks, water, tea, biscuit, gummy bears. Best things about this hotel are that it’s close to transportation, i.e. MRT, bus stops, convenience stores, like 7/11, Family Mart, where you can buy your “easy card” & even top up there, cafes, tea drinks, bars, restaurants, nice clothes shops. It would have been nice if the room were much cleaner, i.e. the corners were a little dusty (again this is coming from someone who’s very very particular about cleanliness) but all in all, had a good stay & would highly recommend! Very good deal and worth it too!

This is the new brand of Hyatt Hotel group in Taipei. First imoression: similar to Moxy, Citizen M focuses on social and fun with a touch of old fashion-CD Player and old music (nice & used to be popular). Room: good size with a cute wooden box CD player. The room has 2 bottles of 'sustainable glass bottle water', 1 energy powder, capsule coffee, and 2 tea bags. Toiletries were normal standard, and the cute part is eye mask, pillow mist, wooden massage board, ear plugs & and mask. F&B: they have one bar, which was a well-known bar from Taichung. I had a cocktail with a blend of tea. Way too sweet... It's not my ideal.. 5:30-6:30 pm Cocktail time offered free red and white wine, beer, and other soft drinks. I think the brand of white wine and red wine are pretty bad. I only used them for cooking, not drinkable... I honestly think if you gonna offer at least not a common brand of cooking wine that downgrade their chic standard. Breakfast was offered by ground floor restaurant, American style. I didn't choose it due to lack of time. The location is great, about 5 minutes from METRO station. There are only 4 stops from Taipei station. For this price, I think it's higher than other hotels. I would think 2 main reasons: 1st, it's a new one, 2nd good location and brand. But may not be value for money type of Hotel. One funny thing: after comparing with hyatt member price, OTA is cheaper, which is very common. But, I consumed beverages I could not accumulate my spending in my membership points, which I don't see the point.

They have a funny rule about arriving night time. But hello?? Flights arent all the same arrival! They can make a way like other hostel. Example, give door code, then leave the key in the table. I've been to so many hostel and they are the only who charges like this. Despite have 2 staff in the counter. To think of it, guest who arrives late paid more. Because they werent able to enjoy half of the day stay but paid the same amount. And then it even gas additional fee? Dont think that's worth it

To date, during my 4th visit to Taipei, this is by far the best hotel overall in terms of price, proximity, location and amenities. As for breakfast, I have no comments as I chose the stay without it. The hotel is just opposite the Taipei Main Station and it is super convenient if you are travelling a lot by Metro or HSR. The hotel basement is linked directly to the Taipei Main Station and you need not fret even on rainy days. On the basement level, you can access to a wide spread of Japanese restaurants and other eateries. Starbucks and Tim Ho Wan are within reach too. Behind the hotel, there are in fact a lot of small eateries and stalls. You might want to give it a try if you like to eat like a local! There are far too many food choices near this hotel. You will never go hungry. Hotel room cleanliness and amenities are good, nothing to fault. On the other side, noticed there is only 1 laundry washing machine and 1 dryer within the hotel which is very limited. Hope in time to come, there will be more as it is very convenient for long stay travellers' to have their laundry done here. Price is very reasonable too, 50 twd for washing and another 50 twd for drying. What a good deal! Just to highlight for amenities, you will have to get from the hotel counter as they do not provide inside the room, eg comb, shower cap, toothbrush and toothpaste etc. Overall, this is the hotel I fancy the most and I will definitely come back to stay in this hotel again in time to come!

Very convenient location - Z4 exit with elevator is in front of hotel. M6 exit next to hotel. Hotel is in a building located on the 7th floor. Friendly staff, with excellent amenities and price point. Pantry with available hot/cold water, microwave and affordable washer and dryer in laundry room (NT$30 for washer, NT$10/20min).

Location is superb, just above ximen station. Room is small but clean. There is even a small bathtub in the toilet. Breakfast is rather crowded and you have to find your own seat. They don't allow early check in, can only check in after 1431hrs.

Considering the price for 2 beds and kinda spacious its a good deal na, also its just a few minutes walk to mrt Zhongshan elementary school theres also a night market nearby, 7 eleven and other shops, But if you prefer a more lively location like ximending dun ka. Overall everything was good, they also allow us to do early check in i think that was 30 minutes before our check in time plus self check in/out is available very convenient and easy to do.

Location is strategic, near access to Ximending Night Market. Nearest bus stop location is Ximen Elementary School. Just 30-50m away. Took bus if too tired to walk to the hotel 😂 If you need toothbrush, request it at the reception counter. Luggage storage is convenient with CCTV. You can store luggages if you arrive early or if your flight back home still have hours to go. We also ask them for help to book a taxi to go to the airport after check out.

Persekitarannya cantik. Lokasi bas ulang-alik tidak jelas. Ia bersebelahan dengan bas. Ia adalah pondok bas kecil. Kolam renang adalah jarak tertentu dari tempat penginapan. Tiada laluan pejalan kaki yang jelas dan bahaya berkongsi dengan kereta. Ia adalah kawasan renang yang lebih profesional. Orang yang tidak boleh berenang boleh meminjam pelampung tetapi tidak boleh. Sayang sekali menggunakan cincin renang. Terdapat diskaun untuk penginapan dan lawatan berpandu. Jika penginapan termasuk lawatan atau harga lebih rendah, jejak rahsia yang lebih baik adalah perjalanan sekali sahaja. Grand Hotel selesa dan boleh dikunjungi lagi. Stik Grand Mountain sedap.
