Ulasan Hotel Relax I

Overall good experience. The location is excellent as it’s only several minutes walk from Taipei Station. The staff is very helpful, our first room had drain noise, and he helped us to swap to the 2nd room, however, that room had smoky smell, and he managed to move us to the 3rd room. Rooms are clean, however, the mini fridge is very noisy, and the shower head is not adjustable and make the shower a bit difficult. This building has restaurant, offices and 2 different hotels, so the logistics of using the lifts is a bit inconvenient. Overall good value.

Staff were unhelpful with requests. Did not like the hotel and location.

Good and spacious hotel. Nice location near to the subway easy to find

Short walk from the Taipei Airport Express station. The hotel lobby is located on the 11th floor and rooms were on the 10th. Check in was easy since I arrived past 8pm. Since I was staying for only 1 night, I booked a room without window and regretted it the moment I stepped into the room. The musty and mouldy smell were really bad, and even when I got an air freshener from Watsons, I couldn't stand the smell and couldn't wait to get out the next morning. Good for budget travellers but I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Main Station. It occupies the last two level of the building. Room is big and spacious and their toilets are all equipped with the bidet. They offer few convenient services such as ordering the popular Taiwan souvenir snacks as well as the popular Fu Hang Soy Milk for breakfast. There is coffee dispenser as well as washing machine at the lobby aka top most level. There is only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. Hence do strategise on when to wash your clothes. Each wash/dryer session cost 50 NTD and you can approach the staffs to obtain detergent.

Great location, very near to Taipei main station and also walkable to ximending. Lots of eateries and shopping areas within the vicinity. Is also easy to take the Taipei metro to visit other place. The hotel is also near the bus station to go yeliu. Overall great hotel, clean and spacious for family of 4.

Located near the train station, Hotel Relax I made for a convenient and comfortable stay in Taipei. Unfortunately, I didn't have a window, which does make the atmosphere feel a bit cramped for my liking. The amenities were good and I didn't have any issues with outside noise.

Room is huge. very close to Taipei Main Station. Just exit from Z4 and you will see McDonalds. The hotel is above it.

Including the well-known and delicious halal Chinese restaurant (Chang’s Beef Noodle: just about 7-min walk) • Available water dispenser (you can refill your water bottle anytime) • Available washing machine (need to pay NT$50 using NT$10 coin x5) but they gave the detergent for free • Available dryer (also need to pay NT$50 using NT$10 coin x5) • Got free upgrade to a bigger room! Thank you! (Probably because we stayed there for 5 nights)

Good for an inexpensive option not far from the Airport MRT. Plenty of places around it. Clean room, comfortable bed, large shower. The lift is a bit of a pain being on F10 and F11 of a busy communal building. They give 2 free beer vouchers per room for their restaurant at another Relax hotel - no strings attached, it seems, no need to eat. I didn’t use mine but as I was spending at least 10 USD per beer in other places, I probably should have done. I’d stay here again (and use the vouchers)!

Nice place to stay, near Ximending, nearby have many nice foods and also near to train stations

Great location and rooms were very spacious. Best part of our stay was the service. Would probably stay here again.

Good location. Can be easily found. Plus item is that they have laundry machine which you can use at a small cost.
