We had to change our plans last minute due to inclement weather and elderly unwell. However, despite cancelling on the morning of the first night, hotel refused to accommodate to cancellation when contacted by Trip. We tried calling the hotel all morning but could only get through in the afternoon. we also emailed them explaining our situation. Hotel staff refused to cancel our booking and we were charged for 4 nights even though we could not make it and informed that we were prepared to pay for 1 or 2 nights’ stay. There is also no reply via email from the hotel.
Due to this unkind inflexibility, lack of empathy and service excellence, and difficulty to contact hotel, we are afraid to try this hotel the next time.
Would like to commend Trip for their excellent service in rendering assistance to negotiate with the hotel and offer of a small amount of Trip credits.
