Hotel berhampiran Saint Dominic Church, Taipei

15 minute walk from the nearest MRT station is not bad at all. I like the fact that they clean the room and change the towels every day. Breakfast can be improved, though. The staff are helpful and kind. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the Metro Hotel.

It's a wonderful hotel that I stayed a few times before and after the pandemic. However, the hotel does show its age unlike some other reviewers said. Standard rooms are very small by today's standard. Breakfast choices are very limited. However, the great hospitality made up for the shortcomings to a 4-star review. The gym was probably one of the worst part of the hotel that was built on top of the building roof accessible by staircase only. The equipment is completely outdated and out of maintenance. Some of the weights don't even work. By business hotel standard, this place is not ideal. I think it's not a bad choice for visitors with a limited budget.

Excellent location with many convenience stores around. Located near Zhongshan Elementary school MRT which is accessible to many great spots in Taipei such as Taipei mall, Ximending walking street and Shilin night market in 6 stops or less via MRT. Toilets are clean and well maintained, equipped with washing machine and dryer for your clothes for 50TWD. The staff are very responsive as well and friendly. Would like to give a special mention to Ricky for being super friendly and making guests feel welcomed.

チェックイン時は機械に申込者のパスポートをかざして手続きします。日本語表示です。朝食券は2人で一枚レシートみたいなものが機械から出できます。 部屋は丸く掃除をしてある感じで隅の方はホコリがホワホワと溜まっています。テレビのリモコンも食事のタレがついて汚れています。BSＮＨＫは映りません。 窓の景色はカーテンを開けると隣人と目が合うような景色です。遮光カーテン一枚なので閉めると部屋は真暗です。せめて明り取りの薄い白いカーテンがあればいいのに　と 思いました。トイレットペーパーは流せません。 ホテル朝食は近くに24時間営業の朝食屋が徒歩3分位の所にあるので頼まなくてもいいとおもいます。 朝食会場へ行くと無人の為、朝食券のチェックはありません。基本的な台湾ホテル朝食といった感じです。 生野菜のコーン🌽は、スプーンですくった所　糸をひいていましたので危険だと思い食べるのをやめました。 サラダの黒豆とコーンは気をつけたほうがよいです。 出かけるとき何度もフロントの前を通りますが フロントの人は下を向いたまま完全に無視です。 目ぐらい合わせてくれてもいいのになぁ 5日間ずっと寂しさを感じました。 コミュニケーション取りたくない人には よいかもしれません。 場所は地下鉄からも5分くらいで近くに雑貨店、コンビニ、朝食店、夜市もありとてもよいロケーションです。 とにかく安くて　便利な所に泊まりたい 台湾になれた人には よいと思います。 台湾の人の優しいホスピタリティを求める人には 寂しい思いをするホテルです。 お部屋の清掃は毎日入り　ペットボトルのお水も補給してくれます。

It's an interesting hotel that shared the same building with residential. The room has a window but no view as the balcony is stored with boxes. Generally, the room is quite clean and comfortable. But when we first entered, we could smell cigarette smoke. As confirmed with staff, the hotel is non-smoking. When we arrived, there were also drilling sounds. It was then clarified with staff that hotel not having any renovation. So we presumed it's from the residential levels. Cons: there are wires sticking out from the bottom of the bath tub. It does looked quite scary that my partner didn't dare to shower after noticing it.

Location was the better one with cheaper pricing. About 5 or 10mins walk from hotel to shuanglian. Reach the hotel, there was no one attending at the counter and was a self checkin machine. Easy checkin and you get the room card. Room was clean and tidy. Room size acceptable, can place 3 of my luggages. Big bath room, just that the water temp was either too hot or too cold. Have to toggle between the 2 shower heads. Initially i planned to deposit my luggage on the last day as i had a late flight that day. But there was no one attending to the counter. Theres a number to add in line app, so i chatted with the person. Was asked to place the luggage behind the counter at my own risk. Which i dont really like this idea. Should have stated in the website in the first place. I still left my luggage there for about 3 hrs, nothing was missing but initially i planned to pickup much later. But since no one was attending to my luggages i went back to collect early. Side note, this hotel is also open for short term stay for people to wish to 'stay' for a few hours. Overall, still clean and acceptable price. Other than, the luggage deposit portion.

Location is not that bad but it’s a short distance from main street but as of now they have lots of road work during my stay so might need to reroute to the main street. Check in timing is earlier compared to the rest, 1pm check-in is great! Amenities here is good Room is good too

My wife enjoys the swimming pool and gym . The location is close to MRT and bus stations, very convenient. most of all, there are many delicious and not expense restaurant in the walking distance of the hotel.

This is our fourth time staying at this hotel. The location is perfect and very convenient. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they provide just enough space to spread out our luggage. They also have coin-operated laundry facilities, although there might be a wait during busy times. The breakfast spread is quite good. They even have Japanese-style options available on the other side of the dining area. One downside to note is the water pressure, which I mentioned during check-in. They accommodated my request by assigning me to a lower level where the water pressure was slightly better. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again next year if we come to Taipei.

Good location near Taipei Station but no window in the room so you can't tell is day or night and the toilet is translucent glass so will be problem for friend or colleagues if share room. Toilet don't have shelve to place toiletries and no mirror in the room for dress up.
