Hotel 2 Bintang di Tanah Rata

We were staying 4 nights at Gerald's. The accomodation is in a very good condition and very clean and offers enough space if you need to work remote. The staff is extremely friendly and well informed about hiking trails, restaurants and everything you need to know. The common kitchen is basically equipped, enough to prepare snacks, sandwiches, etc. During our stay we had one minor issue with the shower. For us it was a bit tricky and it took a while to get hot water. Besides everything was great and I can strictly recommend to stay at Gerald's.

So far all good for the price we paid but there is some things might be improved which is there is non receptionist for 24 hours and if emergency case we can’t find them. Our check in was self check in and the key was just on the table with our names only so it is like not secure at all overall okayy so far nothing much to tell. Thank you Mr David.

Bilik sudah usang dan rosak, tidak seperti gambar bilik perjalanan yang disediakan,,, dan saya menderita 3 hari 3 malam di awal pagi 6qm, bunyi pembesar suara dari masjid Muslim solat bunyi, dan paip air, dari atas tangga lantai dan sebelah bilik saya berbunyi sebagai Air Terjun Cameron Highland,,dan ulasan ke masa lalu di hotel penang juga sama,, sama sekali membuat saya hilang kepercayaan terhadap bahagian pemasaran jualan trim com anda,, di sebelah dan berhampiran hotel Madani yang mempunyai begitu banyak kebaikan harga dan kemudahan hotel yang baik,,,saya rasa ini adalah yang terakhir menggunakan trim com untuk menempah perjalanan saya, dan saya tidak akan kembali lagi

Muslim-friendly and conveniently located, Orchid Haven offers accommodation just a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus station in Tanah Rata. With its social theme, guests can enjoy their leisure time at the shared lounge with LCD TV and sofas. WiFi is available throughout the property. The dormitory rooms come with a reading light and electrical sockets for each bed. Guests have access to personal lockers. The rooms come with shoe shelves, mirrors, and hair dryers. Guests can enjoy the views of the surrounding area from the balconies. Towels are available from the reception. Bathrooms are fitted with hot shower facilities, hairdryer and mirrors. The property has filtered water, and offers daily complimentary tea, coffee and creamer. Breakfast is serves between 7:30 and 10:30 daily. Staff at the reception can arrange day trips and bus tickets upon request. There is a fully equipped kitchen at the property and cooking classes are offered with a minimum numbers of participants required. Nestled amongst restaurants, eateries, shops and banks, Orchid Haven is located 600 metres from Orang Asli Village.

This was a great find, decent size room, we had a private bathroom, rooms are clean & overall good value for money, free tea/coffee station & cold water refills which I always find is a massive positive!! The hosts are absolutely lovely, very friendly & make you feel very welcome! Everything you need is practically on your doorstep, the highlands are just beautiful & we will without a doubt be back!! They also offer hiking trips (we didn’t go on it as we had other plans but it’s a great perk I think)

Worth to stay. Need to search parking around the building twice kinda crowded.

Tempat yang begitu tenang dan bilik bersih. Tidak begitu bising dan mudah untuk mencari makanan berhampiran hotel.

Dengan penginapan di OYO 1231 Ar Rayyan Boutique Hotel di Tanah Rata, anda akan berada dalam lingkungan 15 minit berjalan kaki dari Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel dan Cameron Highlands Trail No. 9. Hotel ini berada 1.2 km dari Agro Technology Park in MARD dan 1.2 km dari Spa Village.Inaplah di salah satu daripada 13 bilik tamu yang menampilkan televisyen skrin rata. Akses Internet wayarles percuma membolehkan anda sentiasa berhubung, manakala program satelit disediakan untuk hiburan anda. Bilik mandi persendirian dengan pancuran mandi menampilkan kelengkapan dandanan diri percuma dan bidet.

One of the cheaper options in Cameron Highlands. The hostel is quite clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a light, fan, socket and shelf in each bed with a curtain to enable privacy. You are not provided with free towels or shower products, but you can rent towels for 5 ringgit. The shower in our room was temperamental and was sometimes very cold or had no water pressure, but it was ok for the most part. Wi-Fi worked excellently throughout the whole hostel which is great. There is a public fridge available for use and the hostel offers laundry for 18 ringgit for 3kg (we didn’t use this as it is cheaper to do self service nearby). The location is perfect and it’s very close to the limited number of shops and restaurants in Tanah Rata. You can also book tours through the hostel and there is walking tours every day. The staff are ok but reinforce rules about housekeeping very firmly, a bit too ‘school like’ for me, but understandable to try and keep the hostel clean and quiet. Overall, a good budget stay but I’m glad we didn’t have to spend more than 3 nights, but perfect for backpackers on a budget.
