Ulasan Grand Hotel Miramare

Though the hotel was old and with outdated furnishings, it still had a pleasant charm. Short walk to the main street and close to the cable car and bus station. The view from the room was very beautiful, though it lacked privacy as all the balconies were connected and no walls between. The sound proofing wasn't great as it was easy to hear people next to us. Also, the air conditioner felt like it could only go to 28° and was still very hot at night. Breakfast was nice and service was good, overall. We were sad to hear that the pool wasn't available, but they had arrangements for a beach and shuttle, that was appreciated. I don't think I would book here again though.

Location is great, you can walk from there to the city center, take the cable car to go to the beach. And the pool is fantastic. The view from the room is stunning. Parking is available but not really cheap (20€ a day). Breakfast is a ‘continental’ one. I wish they included more typical Sicilian products on top of the international eggs and bacon. Also the toilets are extremely noisy, you’ll hear your neighbour flushing the toilet. All in all a pleasant stay

Lovely hotel, and friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a great aspect with views of the sea . Nice big room and bathroom and we sat on the terrace most mornings to enjoy a buffet breakfast . Pool great and friendly pool and restaurant staff. Location is within a 10 minute walk into Taormina and is really convenient for the coach station to the airport
