Hotel berhampiran Taormina-Giardini, Taormina

We spent a fantastic week in this hotel. It was amazing to have direct access to a beautiful private beach as well as an infinity pool. There were plenty of loungers to relax. The location was great, right on the sea side and close to the train station. The shuttle service provided by the hotel that takes you into Taormina was also excellent. The staff were all super friendly too. However I felt that there was a lack of affordable meal options and the breakfast offering became monotonous after some days. Overall a very special place that I look forward to returning to one day.

La Plage Resort at Isola Bella became a place I fell in love with during my visit in June, and I couldn’t resist returning in September 2024. The beach offers the most comfortable chairs, with the best section located near the only beach bar that provides towels. Hamza and Simone were incredibly hospitable, always ensuring everything was perfect. They were a pleasure to deal with, handling everything seamlessly. I also had the pleasure of meeting Diego, the guest experience manager, who absolutely lives up to his title. His knowledge of the area was unmatched, and he went out of his way to enhance my stay, offering invaluable tips for exploring Sicily. He spoke exceptional English and made sure nothing was ever a problem. The food and drinks were outstanding, making this spot a must-visit in Sicily. If you’re looking for a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy, Isola Bella should be at the top of your list.

Siamo stati al Laguna Beach, due giorni ad inizio giugno. Massima gentilezza e accoglienza. Un prezzo veramente interessante. L'appartamento delizioso. Personale gentile. Un posto veramente carino, sembra un Hotel ma con appartamenti dotati di tutti i confort. Disponibile anche sauna e idromassaggio in un percorso SPA di cui è dotata la stuttura.Per il periodo non abbiamo avuto problemi di parcheggio ed usufruito dello stabilimento con buona scontistica grazie alla Signora che si occupa dell'accoglienza. Offerta anche prima colazione. Vi ringrazio per come sono stato bene da Voi con la mia famiglia.

My husband and I were in Sicily this summer and we stayed at the Alexander hotel for seven nights. Immediately I have to say that I read all the reviews on this site that are sent to the hotel (good and bad), so I thought I knew what I should expect. However, the hotel surprised me in a positive way, and that is the reason I want to leave a comment. The hotel is really located about 150m from the beach and in a very quiet part of Giardini Naxos. It is very nice and the rooms are very spacious and very clean- that is very important to me. They clean rooms every day and they change towels every morning. The hotel staff is attentive, friendly and always willing to help and give advice about staying on the island, tours, location ... Especially, I want to emphasize that one of the owners is always in the hotel, or Mrs. Virginia or her wonderful father, so that you can always ask them if you need anything. During our stay they tried to help us in every way. I saw a comment on ”meager” breakfast in the hotel and I was afraid because my husband can eat a lot and since I was already familiar with what means in Italy continental breakfast, but luckily there was plenty of food. Every morning we were served: cereals, yogurt, jam, ham, cheese, salami, biscuits, bread, watermelon, cakes and obligatory coffee or tea of your choice. The waitress was constantly filling the plates so that no one is left hungry. I want to add that we had a very spacious room with a balcony with a view of the sea and the volcano Etna, it was great view to enjoy on our honeymoon :) And finally I want to say hello to a lovely lady Virginia and her fantastic father, Alessandro, who has made my stay in Sicily complete and helped me to practice my Italian. In any case, all recommendations for the hotel and the wonderful people who stay and work in it.

What an amazing stay, it is our favourite hotel in Sicily. We come here every year, not only because the property is amazing, with a private beach but because of the really kind staff. Specially, William, what an amazing person. He adds so much positivity to our trips with his hospitality. His recommendations around the area are just top-notch. Also, Sue and Gianluca are really wonderful staff. They all made our trip one of the best trips ever. Highly recommend ❤️

Wonderful sized hotel with many many amenities as in pools and restaurants, gyms and spas and private beach. Housekeeping - 4/5. No information sheet on the hotel of Thai size so had to trial and error the facilities. The Olympic pool was magical as was their private beach. The buffet foods for breakfast and dinner were very good in choice and cuisine. The hotel is outdated in design and facilities in the rooms. No tea/coffee facilities in room and no water left in the rooms any day.

This hotel is a joke. A very bad joke. If you want to waste your hard earned money and ruin your family vacation then this is the place to be, look no further. But if you want to have a nice place to stay and have a good vacation please stay away this rathole. This ”hotel” is something left behind by a long gone era maybe it was good during Mussolini and his era, but ín 2023 it is definitely an absurd very bad joke, a real rathole. The building itself is an old rundown place with very old, broken furniture, not functioning air condition and plumbing system. The air conditioner was at least 20 years old, making loud noise without any cooling effect. A real piece of junk. There was no adequate water pressure so showering was a challenge except you enjoy showering ín cold water only. But the hotel' s main ”attraction” was the restaurant. Now this is the most horrid place I have ever been. The food was terrible, impossible to eat, the portions were ridicoulosly small and the waiters were from a long gone Era As well. They were chatting all the time instead of working so we always had to wait forever to get our disgusting meal, which we couldn't eat anyway. We left the restaurant with an empty stomach on most days. All ín all Hotel San Pietro ín Letojanni should be closed forever ín the benefit of mankind. Please stay away if you want good for yourself and your family!
