Revive Central Apartments

This apartment was large, warm and had all you would need for a short or longer stay. It was very clean,had a washing machine and there was a clothes line outside. It was a short walk to the Main Street where we had a lovely tea at the Temora Hotel. Just be careful of big dip at the crossover when driving to the car parks that are under cover at the rear. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

The name ReVive "Luxury" Apartments couldn't be further from the truth. We stayed in Unit 2, and it was freezing when we arrived. The wall heater wasn't working properly, and even if it did, it wouldn't have warmed the entire apartment due to the configuration. We had to turn on the oven to try to get warm. The bathroom was so bad (from the cold) that we seriously considered not taking showers, and that would have been good, as then we wouldn't have had taps falling off onto our feet, not to mention the dribble of water coming through the shower head. The whole place was dirty and we couldn't wait to leave.

Mouldy, damp and not clean enough! We stayed in Unit 2 and we’re incredibly disappointed for the following reasons: - overwhelming smell of dampness and mould when we first entered (this left me sneezing within 30 mins of entering our unit) - peeling paint off a number of walls (perhaps related to rising dampness) - evidence of mould in bathroom vanity - noise from unit above woke us multiple times during the night (these first weren’t being overtly noisy, but every movement echoed into our unit) - shower wouldn’t drain adequately and we were left standing in water - evidence of crumbs on the lounge room table and floor from previous guest Interesting, all windows were left open for our arrival and I wonder if this was to hide the very evident and overwhelming smell of mould and dampness.

WELL APPOINTED COMFORTABLE ACCOMODATION VERY IMPRESSED & WILL CERTAINLY STAY HERE AGAIN.PROBABLY THE PICK OF PLACES TO STAY,LARGE ROOMS WITH ALL MOD CONS .VALUE FOR MONEY IS EXCEPTIONAL,CLOSE TO SHOPS & RSL CLUB.

The apartment was well appointed and spacious. It was also close to local amenities. However, there were a few issues. Firstly, the tv was not working properly with only a handful of channels available. Normally this would not have been an issue, but we had been travelling all day and just wanted to rest in front of the tv. We raised this with the management company and were ultimately advised that the tv was "on its way out" and nothing could be done. We did ask for a small rebate in view of the inconvenience, and we were promised that this would be raised with the owners, but no further communications (or rebate) were received. Secondly the bedroom contained some industrial shelving in lieu of a wardrobe. The shelving was barely attached to the wall, still had the sticker from the DIY store on there and there were no hangers on the rail. Overall, quite disappointed given the pretty high price paid for the apartment,

In a small country town, we were surprised as to just how nice this place was. Apartment was spacious, had everything we needed and was VERY CLEAN, quiet and comfortable. Unit 3 was at the rear and at ground level and access from the undercover parking was easy. Some of the recent reviews of this property can in no way be applicable to our experience in unit 3.
