May 13, 2023. In April, Judy and I visited Pompeii with another couple who are good friends and traveling companions, while visiting Italy, Switzerland and Sweden. Our group has considerable international travel experience and each of us really enjoyed Mirosa Bed and Breakfast; the people and accommodations were great. It was an excellent choice. Of note, during our stay issues arose with a booked tour and related timing and transportation issues. Owners Mirosa and husband Pasquale personally took control and, through considerable effort on their part, made it all work out. We chose this Inn because of the location and we wanted a relaxing break to start our vacation. The staff at the hotel are wonderful. Raffaello at the front desk makes you feel like family and he takes care of everything you need. We booked the package that included dinner, cooking class and vineyard tour with wine tasting. Dinner was served in our room in takeout containers with a bottle of wine. It was tasty and we were glad to be able to eat in our room after a long day of traveling. We walked to breakfast and were amazed at the views from the vineyard where breakfast is served. Had a great breakfast (we ate too much!) and then took our cooking class with Helena which was fantastic. We made homemade gnocchi which we later got to eat for lunch. The vineyard is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We then had wine tasting with Carmelo which was also very good paired with our lunch. We then spent time at the Inns beautiful pool on the roof. Our stay was amazing and just what we needed! Only con was that we are too much food because it was very good! This is a perfect place to stay if you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle!

Oltre la posizione e la cortesia, che sono le prime cose che mi hanno, colpito devo precisare che per la colazione non è vero che ti fanno mangiare solo un croassan/ cornetto, un signore ha riempito il piatto e nessuno ha detto nulla, spero che li mangi tutti (ad un certo punto non l'ho più visto). Il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto buono. Si se passo di nuovo da qui mi fermerò nuovamente.

Unless you are driving, DO NOT STAY HERE. Terzigno is an isolated town, an hour on the train from Naples. (And the last train leaves Naples at around 8pm, so don't expect to at least be able to have a nice evening out in Naples and then head back!) The accommodation itself is fine. The rooms are large, clean and the beds very comfortable. There are things that could be improved on; the shower was useless. A working fridge was essential given the poor food offering - but like the wifi, was not working.... The breakfast was very disappointing. The only items provided are a few cakes/'toast' (all in packets). Bottled juice (peach - no other flavours) was nice. There's a coffee maker in the kitchen which was left flooded by a previous user - the hotel owner/manager said the water just needed emptying. But there was no sink! Very helpful... So we went without. There is nothing fresh at all - no pastries, no bread, no fruit, no yoghurt. There are unbelievably NO TAXIS in the entire town. There is no mobile phone signal and the hotel wifi was not working..... so without a car you are really isolated. The guy who is at the other end of the whatsap number given out was a young bloke who spoke absolutely no English whatsoever. It was very difficult to communicate anything at all and pretty stressful. The property said in an email before we arrived that they offered airport transfers - so we said we would like one. They didn't even bother to reply. Overall, a disappointing stay and a stressful experience we wont ever be repeating.

We stayed at Hotel Diana because a friend recommended it. It is conveniently located - walking distance to the ruins and the train station. We had not planned our visit prior to arriving in Pompeii, but Claudia at the front desk put together a phenomenal itinerary for us. We saw the ruins; ate lunch at a local winery; had a guided tour of Naples and a driver who took us on a tour of the Amalfi coast. She planned all of this in just a day. The hotel is not fancy but is clean and close to wonderful restaurants. The staff is amazing. If you ever go to Pompeii, you should stay here. Choosing Hotel Diana was the best decision we made during our visit to Italy.

Best stay we ve had in Italy. Many thanks to the best hotel staff we ever met! Everything was perfect. Room was spacious with new furniture ,very well equipped and very, very clean. Location is awesome, with a beautiful view of mount Vesuvius and a few minutes away from Pompeii. The hotel offers all the amnities that you need for a perfect and relaxed stay. Pool area was awesome and the bar served great cocktails and drinks. Breakfast was delicios with a variety of choices and coffe was excellent The staff at Bosco De Medici is the best staff we ve ever encountered, and that s coming from seasoned travellers. They will gladly help without expecting anything in return, which is a rare virtue these days. My wife had some medical issues, problems with a tooth, which could have ruined our vacation. The hotel staff offered us assistance, took us to a dentist, and thanks to them my wife got well. Basically they saved our vacation. We will definatelly come back to this great place with wonderful people and will recommend it to anyone travelling to Pompeii Always thankful to Roberto and the Bosco da Medici Staff! The stay overall was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff on reception very helpful! They helped to organise transport from the airport for us, which was very easy with a lovely and informative driver who advised us on things to see and what we were driving past! The hotel was lovely and clean, the shower and facilities amazing and just a fab stay overall.
