Standard Marriott courtyard hotel very near the airport but for those who think they can just walk it, unless you have minimal luggage otherwise it’s not an easy walk. Some parts will have no pedestrian pavement so you walk in the main road. If you do choose to walk it, it’s probably a good 15-20 mins. For those who opt for taxi, it’s Euro30 just to turn that corner and enter the airport. Expensive but that’s how it is. The hotel itself I would consider a bit over priced. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Not big, just standard size. Staff are helpful and no queues for check in/out.

My family needed a place near the airport to stage ourselves before a cruise around Croatia. This Best Western has family suites - one room for a couple and one room with two single beds. Room also had a refrigerator, table to eat around, decent bathroom. Only problem for us was one split air conditioner, and located between the rooms. Had we closed the doors, would not have cooled at all. We also had 2 more bookings - one suite and one regular. Windows open with shutters - no screens as Italy doesn't do that. A couple places within walking distance for food and beverages. Decent breakfast for 8€ each. 1.5€ each way to take a bus into Downtown Venice and they can give you the tickets right at the front desk - these must be paid in cash tho. Andrea at the front desk knows everything, the other staff are on, but Andrea was the best. Don't even think of checking in before 3 or out after 11. They will hold luggage, but no receipts for it. You can wait off the lobby and there are some vending machines. Unlike the States, the prices were fair for snacks and drinks. Prices for booking ahead were excellent. They take Discover Card and MC/Visa etc. they have a shuttle, but very specific times. We took a cab for 30€ for 3 of us, plus luggage, from the airport. The transfer to San Basilio cross terminal was 40€.

This little hotel went beyond my expectations for a budget property. I was greeted by a wonderful friendly man who was very keen to help. My single room (room 2) was basic, but clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for my one night stay. The ensuite was roomy and had a selection of towels and products. The breakfast offerings blew me away in that I wasn't expecting such a spread. They had so so much on offer to eat. The hotel is only about ten minutes easy walk to the airport, and there are bus stops very close for getting into Venice itself. There is also a restaurant directly next door which served decently priced meals. I would absolutely stay here again. For a basic, budget, motel-style hotel, there was nothing I didn't like! If I had to be really fussy, I'd only suggest that the rooms could have had some art on the walls.

Arrived with super heavy luggage (after a month traveling in europe), they arranged a room on 2nd floor facing the road with access by elevator. Surprisingly, it was quite. The room was spotless and comfortable. A great clean place to recharge energy just before a long flight back home. Pity didn't try their breakfast. But truly recommend this place for everyone who need a place nearby Marcopolo airport.

We stayed for one night in June 2024. This is a different type of B&B - in a good way. It is situated on a large piece of land. There are Koi Carp and, well away from the rooms, donkeys, peacocks, bee hives, and a large lawned area with deckchairs. It is 4 minutes' drive from Marco Polo airport. Very helpful young man at reception and friendly and efficient staff at breakfast which can be eaten inside or outdoors. Our room was a superior in the 'Hare's House' - it was very clean, had two French balconies and was well decorated with a modern bathroom. Apart from hearing people leaving for early morning flights, which is to be expected so close to the airport, the B&B is quiet and there is plenty of land to stroll around. It is set well away from the main road and parking is free. We enjoyed our short stay.
