Stayed in a two bedroom cabin for two nights in late August. Check in was fast and easy and the employee was friendly. Cabin was well located and was easy to find. The cabin was rustic but was well appointed and clean. The cabin had two moderately sized bedrooms, one with a double/queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Beds were comfortable with lots of warm blankets. Both had well stocked coffee makers. Bathroom was between the bedrooms and was clean and functional. I agree with previous reviewers that they really need to have outside porch chairs to enjoy sitting outside the cabin. I also agree the cabins are very pricey for what they are but I guess it is more for the location, which is great. It was a short walk to the general store, visitor center, and restaurants which was nice. One last complaint is the window coverings were thin and didn't block much light. They could do with black out curtains. The cabins have a very bright porch light that some visitors had on all night which shined brightly into our bedrooms.

Great spot between Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Part of a campground with gas, grocery and restaurant. Cabins were clean and comfy. No TV in rooms which is nice but Verizon signal is adequate if you want to stay connected. To hike to river is about ten minutes and you’ll want bear spray. Restaurant is terrific with incredible staff. Our servers from Romania, Slovenia and Utah were exceptional! Remember, you’re close to incredible national parks so you’ll pay for the convenience. Prices were very fair, considering this.

We messed up our reservations with Marriott. We had no place to go and looked up on Trip advisor to see if there was any place available. We called The Inn and the sweetest girl told us they had a room and we could definitely stay for 3 nights. We got there in 5 min and she greeted us with a warm smile and a wonderfully comfortable room. We will be back. The staff is so friendly and helpful. There is also a free shuttle into the Main Street area.

A very comfortable motel in the centre of Jackson, staff were friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee in the room would help. The fan in the room once spooled up kept knocking against its pull switch so something there to improve. There are plenty of things to see, do and eat out at before venturing into Grand Teton or on to Yellowstone which is what we did. So it was a good place to base ourselves.

I've been to Jackson many, many times and have driven past this property more times than I can count. I always thought it was a tiny little place, with no real ”curb appeal,” but heading back to Jackson in the off season, for one night, I thought I'd check it out. I was very pleasantly surprised! First, they allow dogs- bonus! Secondly, its actually quite a large property with lots of amenities, AND a super cute cafe for breakfast (not included) where I was able to get a cup of overnight oats, and a chai latte for the road. The bed was very comfortable, check in was friendly and quick (much appreciated after a 500+ mile drive) and its perfectly located close to the square which is a 5 minute walk. I'll be back!

This hotel was okay but just not worth the price in my opinion. You could tell that it used to be really nice but maybe hasn’t been kept up as well as it could be. The room was decent and clean but the bathroom had some flaws. The shower allowed quite a bit of water to leak out around the glass door and you could tell this has been happening for a long time and has taken a toll on the bathroom floor and baseboard. They also had no bathroom fan and some sort of something was starting to grow on the ceiling due to excess moisture. We also got locked out of our room every day. We would arrive to our room and the key wouldn’t let us in. We had to go back down to the front desk and they had to reactivate it every time. We were offered no explanation for this and no solution other than “come back down if it doesn’t work”. Some pros were the complimentary coffee station in the mornings and the complimentary airport shuttle service. You can also book the local shuttle to downtown for free with the app which is convenient. It’s a decent hotel but just not worth what they charge per night and I wouldn’t stay here again as there’s nicer hotels in the area at this price point.

Our room was in excellent condition and very modern. From the outside, the property looks very rustic and average, but the rooms themselves are more like 3-4 star accommodations. Had breakfast twice at the hotel restaurant and was not disappointed. Pancakes are huge!

What a special place to stay! We arrived very early from a flight and the staff did so much to take care of us and secure a room for us so we could change for our excursion that afternoon. The room was beautiful - the best of the old (gorgeous carved door, traditional decor, big soft bed) and new ( great bathroom, modern facilities). There were lovely touches like fires going all the time and hot chocolate and cookies left out for guests to enjoy. The Silver Dollar bar had live music every evening when we were there and a great atmosphere. The place to stay in Jackson.

Great location and place. However, due to a hurricane in our state and area of Florida, we had to cut our stay departing Jackson one day early. It turned out to be a very good decision because the next day our flights were canceled. A nice young lady processing our 11:00 AM checkout, 1 day early, felt bad for us and advised that she’d speak with management about a “credit”. We phoned the White Buffalo to follow up, reaching its Manager. Explaining the situation and reason for my call, the Manager abruptly stated that he has bad news - no credit will be issued. Having worked in 98 countries and visited Jackson Hole several times, its management decision wasn’t a good business choice. For a $350-$400 “no credit” business decision will definitely be a story we will share with family and friends. That’s how businesses never reach its full potential. W & P
