Loved this place, we were visiting den Haag for 3 days, the tram 17 stops around the corner and the train station super close by to go to Rotterdam, we had a very good sleep there’s no noise it’s a very calm and quite area yet there’s a mall and restaurants within 15 minutes walk !

The reception is extremely disrespectful. As a businessman traveling around the world, I think I have experience in many hotels. The hotel is a 4 star hotel. It definitely does not deserve 5 stars. The rooms are small and simple. The beds are mediocre. The breakfast is Cafe style. They take a deposit of 100 euros at the entrance. I was satisfied with the room the next day. I asked for a change because I couldn't stay. They asked for a second deposit for a new reservation. I said there was a deposit included. It was for the first reservation. We will refund it to your account after a week. The same hotel is disrespectful enough to ask for a second deposit for a different room and arrogant enough to treat its customers as thieves. I definitely do not recommend it. In terms of hotel standard, it is really 4 stars at most, definitely not 5 stars. The rooms are 3 stars.

Great stay - my first time staying in a hostel and I really enjoyed the experience. Everything is very modern and convenient. The location is great and walking distance from lots of tourist attractions and yummy food spots. The hostel is situated in a very vibrant community area, so it can get quite noisy but once you’re inside your hub you don’t hear anything! The hubs themselves are cute and the bed is super spacious - you get the option of a bottom or top hub, I recommend a top hub if you want to feel slightly more comfortable. The hubs have Bluetooth speakers, an app to control lighting and to speak to the host for any issues. My hub was clean but not as clean as I thought it would be, there were some marks on the side, random hairs and the air-con vent was very very dusty. Apart from that, everything else was perfect. You have a wristband that allows you to charge things to your hub, lock up your belongings and open your hub door which I thought was very handy! I really enjoyed my stay and it was a great first hostel experience, would definitely stay with CityHub again as it was a bargain!

Great hotel, nice employee, fantastic service, phenomenal experience. I stayed there with a friend for a week, each day we left the hotel at the morning/noon before 11 am. Afterwards we got a cleaned room with new bathtubs and also the kitchen was refilled. The personal was cool. Would like to stay a bit longer

All in All a very beautiful hotel and superb location ! Pay attention - there is no hotel parking. If you don't ask explicitly reception, you will end up paying 6.5 /hr if you park just next to the hotel. Otherwise there is city parking lot just next to it - for 'only' 24€ per day .. so calculate it in I could not book with breakfast online, so if we wanted to take breakfast then would have to pay 23 Eur per person at the hotel , which I find really too expensive Pool is very nice, sauna is without clothes only :( so if you travel with teenagers, that is not so 'friendly ' - my daughter had to run out ..

My 2nd time to book and staying in this hotel. as good as before. Good in location, 5 min. walk to Rotterdam central station. LRT just in front of the station. Good in services, we arrival at early morning 10:00, no room available, the front desk lady can keep the luggage for us, and offer free breakfast to us. Clean and tidy room and public area. Recommend this hotel to you.

Wir sind ganz spontan (einen Tag vorher gebucht) in den Niederlanden angekommen und zusammen mit unserem Hund eingecheckt. Der Empfang war sehr nett und im Zimmer stand schon eine Hundeschale mit Ball und Leckerlies bereit. -Ach so, wir waren im Erdgeschoss im Altbau untergebracht. Die Zimmergröße war ok. Allerdings fehlt jegliche Ablagefläche für einen Koffer und einen Schrank gab es auch nicht, lediglich ein offenes Regal mit ein paar Kleiderbügeln. Auch im Bad gab es lediglich 2 Haken für Handtücher und leider gab es im Bad auch keine Heizung....das war ordentlich kalt. Leider waren auch Flecken in der Bettwäsche vorhanden, ich vermute mal, die sind bei der Wäsche nicht rausgegangen...nicht schön. Die Betten sind nicht gerade bequem, aber wir sind ansonsten Wasserbettschläfer, denke da sind wir verwöhnt. Der Außenbereich war etwas ”schrammelig”, die Leihfahrräder lagen mehr oder weniger vor der Tür im Dreck. -Eigentlich alles Sachen, die man mit sehr wenig Aufwand etwas ansprechender gestalten könnte. Ja, ich kann meinen Vorrednern nur zustimmen, es ist sehr hellhörig. Unschlagbar ist aber die Lage, ca. 100 m und da ist man schon am Strand und zum Pier sind es vielleicht 5 bis 10 Minuten Fußweg. -Aber hey, wir haben für 2 Nächte 180 € gezahlt und ich denke, dass Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt und ich will nicht groß meckern. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir waren auswärts frühstücken. Da wir zum Glück Superwetter hatten und sowieso nur zum duschen und schlafen da waren, war es für mich echt ok und konnte damit leben. -Ich denke, es ist wirklich nur was für Leute, die nur kurz da bleiben wollen. Für einen längeren Zeitraum ist das Hotel leider ungeeignet.

Easy check in and excellent buffet breakfast. Bit noisy if you’re sleeping city side from the tram below, but not a deal breaker. Room was very clean and comfortable, and of course centrally located to public transport for convenience. We would consider staying here again.

Location is good, in a newly developed area filled with modern buildings, less than 10 minutes walk from Rotterdam central station if you know the right direction. The hotel interior is old, but they try to keep up by offering necessary supplies such as paper cups, tea bags, kettle, and disposable slippers (the last one is no more common practice in Europe). With the reasonable price, it is an ok choice for a short stay.

My experience in this hotel was really nice. It's located near the city center and the metro station and you can practically have everything you need (supermarkets, shops, food) within a few minutes on foot. All the stuff is really kind and helpful for anything it may occur during your stay in the hotel. Breakfast has not a big variety of drinks and food but it's still really good. My only complaint about this hotel is that there is no fridge in the room, which you really going to need if you are staying for more than 5 days. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay in days inn and I would definitely visit this hotel again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. It had such a quirky and interesting charm. The manager provided exceptional service, sharing fascinating details about the hotel and ensuring we had all the information we needed about the area. The hotel was very clean and modern. A few points of feedback: Tea and coffee are complimentary, but milk is only available upon request at reception. I wanted overnight oats from the breakfast menu, but they had run out. The male bartender was handling food without washing his hands after touching his hair. The hotel manager was outstanding and even helped us with our cruise luggage tags, making sure we were prepared for our cruise after check-out. We will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is quite so-so. Not matching the very high review score. Positive: Lying in bed watching tv was comfortable. Negative: The room was not properly cleaned/made: rubbish under the bed, wornout bedding, kettle with no filter, and water stains everywhere etc.. The curtains in our room can’t be fully closed on one side - not friendly for people who want to sleep during daylight. The window can’t be opened and AC feels dusty and hard to get the room temperature balanced. One staff at the front desk was rude.

We were traveling in Rotterdam for work/vacation and the Usual had rooms for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children). Maybe it is just us, but we have found it sometimes difficult to find quad rooms in our travels and don't like to have to book 2 rooms... So it was fortunate that the Usual had a room for us. I say fortunate because the rooms are quite large (a bed and a pull out sofa bed) that still left enough room for our luggage and moving around. There were 2 sinks, a refrigerator and dishware which really helped us out. Not that cooked in the room, it was just great to have for snacks and light eats. I believe the hotel is new as the furnishing was all modern, in excellent condition and very clean. I personally liked the style and amenities of the rooms and hotel. We were on the 6th floor which gave a small view of the city. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, though I would note that check-in is self-check-in and naturally we couldn't find our QR code that the hotel sent us...but there was someone to help us find our way. We only had drinks at the bar, which were good and reasonably priced. We did not get breakfast largely because of the price and that there are many local bakeries/coffee shops available. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy access to the tram/metro and many sights including the Maritime Museum. We stayed 5 nights and would have liked to stay longer. Highly recommend. The location is far away from the train station, and in walking distance of the city center. The hotel should be a typical 3-star hotel but not 4-star. The room is small, with very basic service. Only four paper cups are provided: two in the washroom and two for drinking, without any other cup. The front desk staffs' attitude is just okay. When I booked the hotel in Trip.com, it was said that the hotel is a best in Rotterdam, with a very high rating. Obviously it is a misleading.

Wow view from the window on the sea, comfortable bad, good pressure in shower. Good location to rest on weekend. Nice to be there, would like to recommend parents to visit too.

Stayed here for 2 nights recently with my partner. As frequent travelers of netherlands to the various cities including den haag ,we had never stayed here before. Lovely experience overall with very pleasant and friendly staff. We had a garden view room(upgraded as club members) with everything you needed clean comfy bed,safe,big shower with toiletries etc and very quiet at night. Their was a complimentary breakfast included in the rate which was a buffet style but more than adequate with a selection of cold cheeses meats,cereals,pastries,teas coffees orange juice yogurts and boiled eggs. Decent coffee machine. Small little bar on site and ice machine in lobby. .We were given a late check out as we had a later flight which was truly appreciated . Excellently located for busisness or any of the visitor sites in den haag. We would definitely return and recommend.😀

Minibar leer, das übliche Wasser ( als Diamant Member ) nicht auf dem Zimmer Bei der Nachfrage am nächsten Morgen bekam ich die Antwort das es Wasser nur am Anreisetag gibt Die Minibar kann nicht gefüllt werden, weil dafür das Personal fehlt, so die Erklärung des Duty Managers am heutigen Morgen! Die Rezeptionistin war zudem sehr arrogant Ich denke es ist in der Verantwortung des Hotels, dafür sorge zu tragen das bei der Anreise alles stimmt , in unserem Zimmer war jedenfalls nichts Meine Frage warum man eigentlich kein Willkommens Geschenkt gibt, wurde damit beantwortet, das man zu viele Diamant Member hat und dies nur bei Gästen macht die mehr als 5 Tage bleiben Wir hatten ein Upgrade bekommen, aber nur in ein Zimmer mit Blick zum Innenhof obwohl alle Zimmerkategorien frei waren Begründung….. zu viele Diamant Member Ich denke Hilton versteht den Begriff Honors selbst nicht mehr Beschämend finde ich aber, dass nach meiner Beschwerde bei Duty Manager, noch nicht einmal eine einfache Entschuldigung von Seiten des der Hotel Leitung kam Offensichtlich hat das Hotel es nicht nötig Ich für meinen Teil werde das Hotel nicht mehr besuchen und kann es auch nicht weiter empfehlen The price for the room had been more then 300 Euro ! Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Silverfish bug on floor, alive and active. This is a clear sign of lacking cleaning over time. Drain congested and risks overflowing both bathroom and the rest of the room. The extreme smell of food is ever present in lobby / reception area and quiet overwhelming. This due to a buffet restaurant two escalators up from lobby. All was mentioned to the staff with zero reaction. Underwhelming…

I was staying 5 nights. I had originally booked for 3 but wrote to reception back in November I wanted to extend the stay to 5 nights. I did ask should I just make a new reservation and they said no, it was recorded. This was confirmed as was the new price. When I arrived at reception, they had no record of my 5 night stay and I had to find the email to confirm both the extension and the remaining nights to pay. The person was lovely and sorted it out, but I felt a bit strange about it. Then after the 3rd night I received an automatic check out message so I checked with reception and they thought I was checking out and I had to go through the whole thing again. I had already paid so I explained that too. Anyway perhaps a note could have been added or something on the system. The location was perfect. I felt safe walking around at night and it was very convenient for the Amare centre. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and the shower was a good size. I liked they had some BBC channels. I think on day 4, the wifi was down. This is not reception’s fault but it was out for probably 30 hours. This seems quite odd in a major hotel for it to be out for so long. Unfortunate but it was fixed eventually. Staff were nice. Lifts worked well.

It's a very nice hotel, located in the center of the city. Beautiful design, the rooms are pleasant. The breakfast is good. Those who come with a car are advised not to park in the parking lot below the hotel, because it is expensive. We camped in a parking lot within walking distance (of course after dropping off our luggage at the hotel) on Geest Street 1. We had a less pleasant experience, our daughter felt sick, and they had no idea where to refer us and we were even sent to the emergency which turned out to have been closed for 3 years. So only health, and enjoy.

When we arrived the reception was empty. There was not even a welcome drink in the room. The cleanliness of the hotel in general and the room in particular left a lot to be desired. Nothing you would expect from a 5 star hotel.The room was horribly decorated. The rug under the bed was completely crooked, and a wooden lamp that almost pierced my eyes twice. Over the bed there was a button that said do not disturb with a night light so bright it was impossible to sleep well. The bedroom furniture was old and chipped.The bathtub had one of the faucets broken.The hotstone massage was one of the worst ever. Impossible to relax when the masseuse tries to make conversation and makes so much noise with the stones that it is impossible to relax even 1 min. The pool was okay. The rest of the SPA we did not try.We booked dinner at reception but when we arrived at the restaurant there was no reservation. The rest was across the street from the hotel, very uncomfortable having to go out to dinner in another building, especially on a cold and rainy day. But the worst was yet to come. We asked if it would be possible to make a bowl of rice or pasta for our 3 year old daughter but they refused. What restaurant, much more than 5 stars, refuses to make a simple rice for a child? Neither the poorest restaurant nor a 3 star hotel. Then we ordered fondue for two. When the waitress brought us the food came a plate with 5 small pieces of grilled meat and a tiny bowl of fries. When we said that it was not what we had ordered, but the fondue, they told us that the restaurant no longer made fondue. But then why was it on the menu? Why didn't the employee who served us the first time inform us that there was no fondue? As the dish that came was very little food for 2 adults and 1 child, we ordered another steak. Waiting another 30 min. When the waitress came with the plate, she dumped the fries all over the floor. We had to wait a little longer for the fries.The steak was good but for 30€ you expected a little more than 5 tiny strips of meat and a small bowl of pre-fried supermarket potatoes. Needless to say, our 3 year old daughter ate very poorly.Definitely untrained and very unfriendly staff.Breakfast was mediocre for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast at the level of a 2 star pension. 5 star hotel has absolutely nothing. At most 3 stars and already very forced. In the end they wanted to charge us 15€ for the car park when the reservation we made on booking.com said that the car park was free. As we complained about the bad service they did, they decided to withdraw the 15€ from the final bill and the two tonic waters we drank for dinner. Hotel not recommendable at all.

The hotel used to be called ”Grand Winston” many years ago but it downgraded a lot since that time. The hotel nowadays seems occupied by long-term rentals and the breakfast has been transferred to the bar area. We stayed a week there and it became very cold in our room, I mean really cold, as there was no heating. After we complained twice, they sent us to another room where it was only a bit better. Cleaning ladies and other personnel are ukrainiens so they speak neither Dutch nor English. As there was not much on offer for dinner at the hotel, we always went out. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
