Dissapointing! They pretend to be an exclusive boutique hotel and that’s what you pay for. But the experience is not. I asked them to arrange an airport taxi and they said it was going to be approximately €30, when I arrived it turned out to be a normal taxi and when I arrived after 20 minutes the metre said €20,50, but I had to pay €30 because it was a “fixed” price. They told me it’s because it’s an airport taxi and they charge more. My room was nice, but there was a strange smell in the room. The staff said it was cleaning product, but it smelled more like smoke or sweat. After opening the windows one full day the smell was gone. There were some malefunctions on the blinds in the room and I didn’t get clear instructions of how to open the windows (an electric system) when I asked if I could open them, they said it was not possible because of safety reasons. Airco was noisy, street sounds noisy. They provide earplugs. Breakfast was nice and staff was attentive in general. Location is convenient. After checkout I had to pay €7 per night (€14) extra on city taxes. On their website it says clearly that ALL taxes are included. When I mentioned this they didn’t took any responsibility and said that this is the same in all hotels. It’s not true, I stayed in another (better) hotel after this 2 nights, for the same price and everything was included. I’ve send an email about this and I didn’t get any response. They don’t take any responsibly with complaints. This is not the service that I expect from a “luxury” boutique hotel for this price and I would definitely recommend to choose an other hotel!
