My family and I recently stayed at the Shanghai Agile Marriott Hotel City Centre while visiting Shanghai, and if I had to sum up my two-day experience in one word, it would be ”impeccable”! From the moment I stepped out of the car, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. First and foremost, I must give a huge shout-out to Koi from the front desk! From the start, Koi greeted us with a sincere smile that instantly made us feel at ease. Not only was she highly efficient, but she was also incredibly attentive. We arrived a bit too early before our check-in time. Seeing that we had luggage and elderly parents with us, she quickly arranged a quiet room on a high floor near the lift for us. She also patiently explained the hotel's facilities and breakfast. Thanks to her enthusiastic service, our travel fatigue melted away, and our first impression of Shanghai couldn't have been better! As for the hotel itself, the location is absolutely superb! It's just a few minutes' walk to the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and it’s incredibly convenient whether you want to go shopping or see the night view at the Bund. The room was pure Marriott quality – spacious, bright, with comfortable bedding, and a beautiful view of the bustling city skyline. Watching the lights of Shanghai at night from the window was a fantastic experience. The hotel facilities are also top-notch. The speed of hot water in the shower was instant, unlike many hotels where I had to wait a few seconds. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, with both Chinese and Western dishes available, catering to all tastes. Overall, our stay was made even more memorable thanks to Koi's excellent service. There are many good hotels, but service with a personal touch is rare. We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to Shanghai! I wish Koi all the best in her work and life!

Stayed one night at the Garden Hotel during the ***** New Year. Usually, it's around 600-700 RMB, but for CNY it was nearly 1000 RMB due to the premium. I wanted to experience staying in a historic building in Shanghai, and the Garden Hotel seems to be a relatively good value for money. The location is excellent; it has a large garden in such a prime area. You can easily walk to Huaihai Road and Fuxing Road. The service was also superb. It's rare to ask for one item from room service and have them bring a whole bunch of things [crying emoji], I was pleasantly surprised, especially since the hotel was fully booked during the ***** New Year. Thumbs up! Aside from the room being a bit small and dated, the toilet was the common smart type. Breakfast was Japanese style, which I wasn't quite used to. Even with a full house during CNY, there was a queue, but the efficiency was high, and you didn't have to wait long. Considering the location and service, I would likely choose this hotel again next time.

Arrived quite late, but was upgraded to a room with a better view, and they even gave my child a Conrad teddy bear. The hotel's location is super convenient, right on Nanjing Road. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were all very polite. Breakfast offered a wide variety, catering to both northern and southern palates, and had some nice Shanghai specialties. Whenever I visit Shanghai again, the Conrad will definitely be my first choice.

We got 2 very spacious deluxe suites at an attractive rate for the four of us.Eventhough the rooms look dated but they are comfy nevertheless. The only issue is the bathroom shower area which does not drain well hence causing flooding in the whole bathroom..I think its the design of the shower floor trap tile that needs to change as the current makeshift tile cover only blocks the flow of water.They can always replace it with a proper floor trap tile which drains. Housekeeping need to give attention to the towels provided as eye lashes of old guests are found on one of the ”new” towers(see pix).Also toilet amenities are not consistently replaced. Still,this is a nice & value for money premium hotel to stay for families due to its relatively quiet neighbourhood plus its within walking distance to the shopping district of Ch'ng An

The hotel is conveniently located, just a 3-4 minute walk from the metro station. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and even upgraded us to a room with a fantastic view of the Bund, which was absolutely breathtaking from our window. The location is superb; it's less than a 10-minute walk to the Bund and under 5 minutes to Yu Garden and Chenghuangmiao Old Street. The breakfast was delicious, and we also enjoyed the complimentary mini-bar in our room. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to experience the free travel photography session they offered this time, but we'll definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit.

The location is fantastic, right on Nanjing Road, making it super easy to catch a taxi right outside and perfect for shopping. Our room was in a separate area, which was wonderfully quiet and ensured a good night's sleep. You do have to walk up a short flight of stairs, but the customer service was excellent; they proactively helped us with our luggage. The bed was really comfortable, adjustable, and even had a massage function. The complimentary drinks in the room were a thoughtful touch too.

Very spacious room and bathroom. With huge windows and a view of the city. I had to wait quite a while to get the key of my room but it was worth the wait. It can be complex in the morning to get a table at the breakfast as the choice of food is so important that i suspect some guest to stay there extra time and keep their table for ever, in order to have food for the day. Central location for those who want to enjoy the bund and the center.

On the downside, the bathroom could be improved as the shower area does not have a proper shelf or space to place personal toiletries, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, it is a comfortable and well-located place to stay, especially for those who want easy access to shopping, food, and public transport.

The environment is great, and the location is absolutely fantastic. It's right by Exit 12 of Jing'an Temple Metro Station. The snacks at the executive lounge were quite good; the desserts were rich and flavorful, especially the chocolate cake, which I highly recommend. The service was also very enthusiastic. You can see the Oriental Pearl Tower from the 38th floor, and Jing'an Temple is perfectly visible from the room. There were plenty of staff supervising the swimming pool, which made me, as a mother of a child who isn't a strong swimmer, feel very reassured. I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel Classiq Shanghai Nanjing Road during the Chinese New Year holiday, and my overall experience was excellent. Both the location and service were outstanding, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai. The hotel boasts a prime location, just a 10-minute walk along Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street to the Bund and Yuxingji (People's Square branch). This made sightseeing and enjoying local cuisine incredibly convenient. It's also only a minute's walk from Nanjing East Road Metro Station, making it super easy to get around the city. Downstairs, there are plenty of specialty restaurants offering a wide variety of choices, making meals hassle-free. The hotel's buffet breakfast offered a rich selection and delicious food, catering to different tastes. My room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a high quality of rest. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick, and they patiently answered all my questions, providing thoughtful and thorough service. With its fantastic location, convenient transportation, easy dining options, high standards of hygiene, and warm service, Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel Classiq Shanghai Nanjing Road is a high-value-for-money choice in downtown Shanghai. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai!

Huge thanks to the hotel for arranging my preferred room – it was actually the exact same one I stayed in last Chinese New Year! What a lucky number, 1818. The front desk staff was so attentive and patient. And Xiaoqian, the attendant on the 18th floor, remembered all my habits from last year! She made sure the room was spotless and beautifully arranged every day, making it truly feel like home. The lion dance on the first day of the New Year was a real highlight. Even though the breakfast restaurant was crowded during the CNY period, the service was much faster than last year. This is, as always, my absolute favorite hotel. See you next time! ^_^

She deserves a huge commendation – even on her days off, she'd message me to say I could reach out to her anytime if I needed anything. The concierge service was also excellent, promptly anticipating guests' needs, making both check-in and check-out very smooth. Housekeeping was great too; turndown service was always done by the time I returned to my room. Breakfast is a crucial indicator of a hotel's quality, reflecting its attention to detail and standards through its offerings and quality control. After I spoke with the hotel, there was an improvement the next day. The bakery items were truly outstanding; the pastries were perfectly flaky, and both the pancakes and waffles were delicious. The fried dishes also had a great texture.

The outdoor adventure park next to the hotel is a big hit with kids, and the bungee jumping and cliff swing are incredibly thrilling.

All the receptionists were very helpful with sorting out Taobao order and returns and even with their little English they still try to clarify and explain how it works. Many thanks to Zhang Ding Ding and his co workers (apology I forgot to ask their names). The toilet in the rooms is equipped with bidet. The location is only a short walk, around 300mtrs from Exit 10 Jiangwan Stadium subway station (line 10). There is an alley/tunnel connecting Jiangwan stadium and Wujiaochang subway stn, full of food stalls, snack, drink, etc. Basically you won't get starved even you stay there more than 2 weeks. Good place for shopping. no need to go to East Nanjing or LuJiaZui. Thumbs up!!

The hotel is conveniently located right next to a large shopping mall, MixC City, offering a wide array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Plus, it's just a few subway stops from either the train station or the airport. Getting to the hotel from Ziteng Road Metro Station: exit and enter the shopping mall through its main illuminated entrance. For the most straightforward path, *before* you reach the pedestrian street of the metro commercial area, follow the signs to take the elevator up to the second floor. From there, walk through the parking lot between Buildings A and B, and you'll arrive directly at the hotel, with no stairs to navigate. Overall, I feel the hotel's marketing efforts are insufficient. This hidden gem truly deserves to be discovered by more people.

Nice little hotel, but not for me. It is located right next to Sam's Club and that's always nice. Being able to eat Sam's pizza and hot dogs is always nice. The bed, while big, was not comfortable to me. I know everyone has their preferences on softness levels. When I stay at a hotel, l like mattresses I melt into because they are soft. Not that way here. But I know some people prefer these mattresses. They had a restaurant and bar that looked nice, but I didn't visit as I had dinner and drinks with others not staying at hotel. The real deal breaker for me was no refrigerator in my room. Some rooms may have them. Mine did not (that I could find at least). When I stay at a hotel for more than one night, a refrigerator is a must, either for leftover food or cold drinks. Also, for a superior queen room, I think it said balcony or terrace and sofa, none of which my room had. And for garden view... Definitely not a pretty garden, more like a cement walkway and Sam's. And lastly, no room service... I know it's not advertised as having room service... But paying nearly 500rmb a night, just having a club sandwich or dumplings available late night would be nice. Maybe work out a deal with Sam's. Colleague stayed at a hotel less than 10 mins away that was cheaper, had a bathtub, had a late night menu, and had a refrigerator. Staff were great! Very helpful! If I go back to area, not sure if I would choose again. The access to Sam's is nice. I'd like to try out their bar and restaurant. But the no refrigerator scares me off a bit.
