Hotel berhampiran पनमूक्कुमपिल्ली अय्यप्पा मंदिर, Thrissur

I booked for 2 days for 21st March till 23rd Mar single room. When I checked in I made the payment Rs. 1521.00 and I asked if this is all I pay the receptionist said yes mam. I went to Kalady on 21st March and stayed there for 21st Mar and returned on 22nd March which I had let them know just needed a place to leave my luggage and my next destination trip was booked from trissur as no transport available from Kalady. On 23rd Mar when I checked out there was a new staff receptionist who charged me again 1521.00 fir 22nd March saying the payment for 21st Mar was for one night. I had made travels across the world and every hotel collect the price for the while stay either when you check in or when you check out. These people are cunning to double charge me. If they charge 1521.00 for that kind of room it's disgusting as there were cocroaches in the room and it was tiny little room which has dusts and hairs on the floor and on cabinet, no hot water facility just some basics they had. Other thing is the receptionist called me on 22nd Mar and said your room was open and have luggage and I'm calling to check if your coming when I left for Kalady on 21st Mar I locked the room and gave the keys to him and said I will be back tomorrow. That I find very strange and annoyed me. Not sure why they opened the room and definitely it was not clean so not to Clean the room. I myself cleaned the floor to do yoga when I arrived on 22nd Mar. We have been staying often in this hotel during temple visit ,I consider this as one of top three hotels in Guruvayur,staff response is excellent ,food is class and authentic,room service exceptional and not to forget to have coffee from bean mug,Both the Chefs needs a word of appreciation and especially Shri Dinesh For the Italian delights and spring rolls……wow

We were really pleased with our stay at the Sterling Guruvayur. It is a very nice hotel, modern with all the facilities needed, and ideally situated for visiting Guruvayur Temple. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. I must emphasize the hospitality offered to me and family by the Hotel General Manager, who made our booking, check-in and check-out effortless.

The Riverine Suites have some amazing suites facing the river. We had room B2 which arguably offered the best view of the Chalakudy rapids outside our balcony. The view of the river is panoramic and intimate. The roar of the river is a balm for the mind, and conducive to some serious meditation and thinking. The rooms themselves were furnished to a high standard, and the accommodation is extremely spacious. The manager Rajesh is an extremely courteous ***, trusting of clients and very sincere. The dining services were very prompt and of excellent quality. Food is prepared as requested by guests. The air-conditioning was excellent, and all room switches and controls were easy to use. We loved every minute of our stay here. Rajesh needs special mention for his excellent customer empathy. When it became clear that the card machine at the reception was not working, and we did not have enough change in our wallet to pay for the room rent, Rajesh had no hesitation in allowing us to pay be bank transfer later in the day well after we had checked out. It was lovely to be trusted in this fashion.

The check-in and check-out process was smooth and the room was really nice and comfortable. I love the bed and the rain shower head in the bathroom! I had dinner and dessert delivered to my room, as I got in late, and the food was good. The hospitality was amazing. I always stay here when I am in transit through Kochi. It is nice budget friendly hotel with decent facilities near kochi airport. Budget friendly comparing the other hotels situated near the airport. They provided a complementary pick up from the airport at mid night which was very helpful. The rooms are near and clean and was a big relief from tiresome journey. The breakfast was complementary and had decent number of options and most of the dishes were good. Hope they maintain the same standard.
