Hotel Residence la Rotonda

the property had a lovely view of lake garda, the staff were very friendly and helpful. i did not read the small print about having to pay extra for bed linen and towels. the bed was very uncomfortable and very noisy. the fridge needed a defrosting and fan or air conditioning would of been nice. the whole place felt fairly run down and in need of a lift.

We simply won't be returning. Having stayed in room 39 from 27th May 2023 as a family of 5. On our check out, we received a bill for breakfast and encountered rude and aggressive staff. Our final bill came to 361,82 Euros and I have no problem paying for services we’ve agreed to, however we were unfairly charged for breakfast. No mention of a charge for breakfast was mentioned verbally at check-in. Infact I enquired with a waiter how much breakfast cost and he replied that it was nothing – breakfast is free for guests. The welcome pack (only available in German) did not state any charges apply for breakfast, irrelevant of whether you are a hotel or apartment guest. The state of the room was filthy. From skirting boards, shower heads and many many ants! We could handle this to a degree and were told by a cleaner to buy ant traps, especially if breakfast was included but when we have then been unfairly charged and had to endure this, it’s not right at all. I would hope that the staff response was just a language barrier but staff did not help, only demanding payment in an aggressive and confrontational nature and calling more staff to assist with this, forcing me to make a payment. To clarify I would not have agreed to pay 10 Euros per person for breakfast, if this was explained or documented to us on check-in and Marzadri hotels are exploiting us as customers. Beware!

The room was clean and it had a huge balcony towards the Lake. The view was beautiful! Only minus with our accommodation was many steps and going up and down.

I really enjoyed my stay at La Rotonda Hotel in Tignale. I booked via Love Holidays and I was very impressed by the ambience and friendly staff. Big thankyou to Giuseppe who wad extremely kind and made my 50th birthday special for me. He ordered us pizza from the pizzeria at the hotel and bought me a bottle of chocolate liqueur. Beautiful views of Lake Garda and surrounding area. A lovely hotel to stay at and refreshing fresh-water swimming pool. The only down side was that Easyjet cancelled My flights just as I arrived at Gatwick Airport . My return flights were cancelled too. Lots of .operational issues with Easyjet and BA atm which delayed my holiday by 2 days unfortunately.. There are not many buses that run to the hotel and taxis are very expensive in this region. I have ptsd from when my ex husband crashed a hire car in Crete so I didn't want to hire a car unfortunately.

We loved our stay here! Great staff, amazing view and very welcoming! Super friendly receptionists, very clean room (bit dated decor but it’s more than barable!). Room had a fridge and mini hob - very handy! Hair dryer in the bathroom too. Breakfast was fruitful but needs a few more options. Some more gluten free would be amazing! You definitely need a car to be staying here though. We didn’t use any pool facilities but they always looked clean and well kept when we walked past. Beautiful place. Will be back soon!

Abbiamo soggiornato per il ponte del 25 aprile e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Struttura ben tenuta, pulita, buona cucina e personale davvero cortese. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo imprevisto (foratura pneumatico) e si sono adoperati per darci una mano a risolvere.

Bellissima esperienza, piacevole scoperta. La struttura è in una posizione strategica vicino tanti punti di interesse e gode di una visuale stupenda. Anche io personale è stato gentilissimo e sempre disponibile.

Wir hatten ein Appartement. Einrichtung wirkt renoviert. Geschirr für 6 Personen vorhanden. Gigantischer Ausblick bei riesigem Balkon. Hallenbad Anfang April sehr kalt, im Laufe der Woche wurde es wärmer. Fitnessturm leider nicht funktionsfähig. Laufband und Tischtennis möglich. Summa sumarum sehr zu empfehlen. Was uns gestört hat, war, das bei Ankunft keine Bettwäsche und Handtücher vorhanden waren. Wurden von unserem Reiseanbieter nicht darüber informiert und mussten daher vor Ort für 75 Euro Wäschepakete anmieten (bei 5 Personen). Das Schlafsofa im Esszimmer ist sehr wackelig und für Erwachsene nicht geeignet. Aber der Blick entschädigt hierfür...

Das Hotel hat eine supertolle Lage, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und nett, die Zimmer sind leider sehr abgewohnt mit mangelnder Sauberkeit, wenn man spät im hotel ankommt, gibt es leider fast keine Parkplätze mehr, beim Frühstück herrscht eher Chaos, längeres Anstellen, Kaffeemaschinen sind sehr langsam, im Zimmer und am Balkon jede Menge Spinnweben, die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen, Wasserhahn am Waschbecken wackelte, Dusche extrem klein mit unhygänischem Duschvorhang etc.etc. Wir werden definitiv dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen....
