Ulasan Shinjuku Washington Hotel Annex

The hotel's location is excellent, with a direct bus from Haneda Airport stopping right at the doorstep. It's also very quiet, being close to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. We booked several day tours, all of which met at Mode Gakuen, just a 12-14 minute walk from the hotel, which was incredibly convenient. There's a Matsuya restaurant just a five-minute walk away, where the food is cheap, delicious, and it's open 24 hours. While the room is small, the location more than makes up for it. Downstairs, there's a laundry room and self-service luggage storage, so you can do laundry or store your bags anytime. The rooms don't have toothbrushes, but you can pick up toothbrushes, face masks, cleansers, tea bags, coffee, and more from a dispenser next to the front desk, which is a very thoughtful touch.

The twin room was spacious enough to fully open our luggage. The second-floor lobby offers unlimited self-service amenities like toothbrushes, facial masks, razors, and various personal care items, which was fantastic, especially the facial masks. Although the room wasn't cleaned daily, towels and trash were changed and replenished with drinking water every day. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, especially the one in the main building, which even offered steak and sashimi. This hotel offers great value for money and a wonderful experience.

Strategic location, walking distance from shinjuku station, very convenient bus ride from Narita airport. Room is clean and well equipped

750m to Shinjuku Busta. 900m to Haneda express train. Convenient location for my travel to Kawaguchiko for Fujisan hike. For muslims, there are many halal restaurants nearby. In fact, there is a nice Indian restaurant at the basement serving best mutton briyani far away from home !

The hotel is located in a prime location, only less than 10 minutes away from Shinjuku Station and we took the airport bus directly to the hotel from Narita Airport. Amenities are provided at the reception area and guests can feel free to take as many as needed.

Facilities: It's a traditional hotel, so the facilities are a bit old but reasonably well-maintained. The shower water pressure was very low, making it time-consuming to shower. Cleanliness: Decent, though the toilet had a slight odor. Location: It's almost a kilometer walk to Shinjuku Station, with some uphill and downhill sections if you walk above ground. The underground passage isn't ideal due to poor air quality. It's about 650 meters to Keio Plaza Hotel, less than a 10-minute walk, and that's the nearest airport bus stop. Service: Alright.

The hotel boasts an unbeatable location and offers great convenience for exploring the city.

Location of the hotel was good for us as it is near to most of the places we want to visit and is close to many shopping centres and restaurants which is very convenient. The Japanese breakfast was fantastic and yummilicious. Only complaint is the room is very small.

The hotel is just 10 minutes walking distance from Shinjuku station. Do note there are two Washington hotel next to one another (Annex). Consider myself lucky, I managed to catch the lightshow at Metropolitan Government building

The location for us was perfect and easy access from airport using the limousine bus service. 10 minute walk to all the restaurants and about 20 minutes from bars and great night life Hotel very clean and fantastic breakfast

My second stay at Shinjuku Washington Hotel and it was even better than the first! The location is unbeatable — just a short walk from Shinjuku Station, making it easy to explore all of Tokyo. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and I always got a great night’s sleep. Staff were polite and helpful, check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Great value for the price and an excellent base for exploring the city. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Japan. Highly recommended!

Location: Located in Shinjuku but it is too far from Shinjuku central that took about 10-15minutes walk to city centre Shinjuku. Caught in rain and that it, the only pros is there is a limousine bus stop here. Location is a deal breaker that make me regret booking this hotel. Cleanliness/room: The room is too small for 2 person, can only open one large luggage. Their washroom is small as compared to average japan size, the toilet bowl is tiny to the extend that it look like for kid. There is pungent smell in the toilet when check in..although property state hotel is renovated but only partially is renovated as our friend got the renovated room. Service: The counter requested for room number when we like to collect extra drink bottle, this is the first time that counter requested to check until so strict. And on the last night they just outright rejected our request for extra drink bottle. Amenities: There is sufficient amenities that is available for collection at their lobby. Wide collection of amenities from toothbrush to face mask which is rare at other hotel.

The room is quite small, I can’t open my suitcases at the same time, but other is good(location, waitresses, cleanliness, etc). I enjoyed to soaked in the bathtub every single day I stayed!

The Washington Hotel Annex is actually a separate building, with a dedicated landmark on the ground floor of the main hotel. It's easy to find by following the signs. The annex is next to the main building and is considerably quieter. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can check in yourself or with staff assistance. The hotel boasts excellent facilities, an elegant atmosphere, and generously sized rooms with attentive service. The lobby offers complimentary items like facial masks, cosmetics, and toothbrushes, and services such as luggage storage, a laundry room, and microwaves. There's an airport shuttle bus stop right downstairs, but tickets need to be purchased in advance. You can buy them on the first floor of the main building or by scanning a QR code at the bus stop – Alipay and WeChat are not accepted, only cash or bank cards. The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and supermarkets, making it very convenient. It's also very close to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, where you can enjoy a free sunset view from the observation deck in the evening, as well as a beautiful light show. The room lighting isn't very bright, and the bedside lamp takes a while to turn on after pressing the button. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the subway and train stations.
