Ulasan Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo-Shiodome

There was a woman who spoke Spanish, Japanese, and English, who I did not get her name but she helped the Morales family with a smooth check and everyone was very welcoming. The hotel is near a train station making it easy to do some tourism around the city. It is also very convenient to have a convenient store along with a coffee shop in the same building. I’d highly recommend this location for your stay. 

We stayed at the hotel for four nights in late March. The location is peaceful and within walking distance of Ginza and Shimbashi. It's also convenient to take a few stops to Aqua City. There aren't many restaurants in this area, so it's advisable to do some shopping or grab a meal before heading back to the hotel. The room provided can accommodate more than 3-4 people, but there is an additional charge of 3000 yen per person if you originally booked for two. There is a separate toilet and bathroom, allowing for a more leisurely shower experience. One drawback of the room was the insufficient storage space for clothes, as there weren't enough cabinets or space for hanging. Additionally, the view from the lower floors overlooked the backyard of the building. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you're seeking a quiet evening after exploring crowded areas.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Tokyo. The proximity to Shimbashi Station makes it very convenient to get around Tokyo no matter where you want to go. There are plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. Best of all, the rooms are spacious, making it easy to relax after a long day of traveling. All the hotel staff were very friendly, especially Hernandez who was very sweet and helpful. If I come to Tokyo again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

The hotel is next to a metro station and 10 mins walk from a JR station. It is convenient to go to shinjuku, Shibuya or daiba. There are vending machines and washing machines on the floor of room, so can buy drinks or beers at night. The staff are nice and helpful. During 5-7pm, free drinks available at lounge and that’s a good refreshment.

Hotel location was good, directly next to the train station. Hassle free get to and fro hotel with luggages. There are also come food options within 5 mins walk (there is also a sheltered/underground walkway to connect to the train station and some restaurants close by (about 3-5 mins walk) so it's quite convenient. Rooms are slightly bigger (than usual Japan standards). Not a busy area so if you are looking for something more quiet and easy accessibly to trains (to get around the city and to Haneda airport).

Staffs are friendly and nice. Hotel is clean with good air conditioning. Will go visit this hotel again next time in Tokyo

A very cozy and nice hotel located at the bustling Shiodome area. Breakfast is great as well.

Location is perfect, very close to Ginza but not so touristic. The room was nice and the service was awesome, very helpful and organized workers

Very close to JR and subway lines connecting you to the heart of Tokyo. Underground walkway connecting the hotel to the train station was important when it rained or was very hot. 15-20 minute walk to the old Tsukiji fish market. About 15 minutes to Ginza on foot, too. Very safe all the way. Good restaurants nearby. Room was adequate for our needs (queen bed), window overlooking the rail corridor next door where you spot bullet trains every few minutes. Nice welcome drink happy hour in the bar lounge. Hotel has self laundry on site which was quite cheap and easy to use. All in all, a comfortable stay. Will probably come again.

Reasonable price, close to Shiodome station and around 10-12 mins walk to Shimbashi station. Limited shops around the hotel. The room is big compared to other hotels in Japan.

This time we had one of the old rooms not renovated yet and the difference was striking with the renovated room… first there was a strong urine smell in the bathroom when we entered the room, then we discovered that some of the power outlets were broken (the only usb plug in the room and one of the power outlets). I signaled it to the staff but they said they couldn’t do anything about it… if you rent at VF Shiodome, make sure to have one of the renovated rooms. Besides that, the open bar happy hour from 5pm to 7pm is a nice offer for people present during that time slot.

Just perfect. I was really happy with that hotel. I can strongly recommend even it is a bit expensive

Lovely staff and great location - close to a station and a 20 minute walk from shopping in Ginza

The room and bathroom were a bit rundown, but overall, the hotel was worth the money we spent on it. The room was a standard Japanese size, so it was on the smaller side. There was a lingering smell of smoke from the air conditioning, even though we were on a non-smoking floor/room. Overall, it was a good bargain. The hotel is close to public transport (just above one of the lines) and they offer free unlimited drinks at the bar every day at no extra cost.
