A very emotional accommodation experience, which can well understand the accommodation and life of the locals! This house is in a block one step away from Sensoji Temple. Walking from the subway station, you can see the neighborhoods where Tokyo locals live, the style of the houses, and the flowers and plants they like to place in the house. The feeling is really different from that in Shanghai. Same. This house has two floors, and it is very spacious in Tokyo, where every inch of land is expensive. The rest area on the first floor is a Japanese-style tatami mat, with a kitchen next to it, a laundry room, and a toilet with a toilet. The second floor is a bedroom with a spacious bathroom. All three of us live on the second floor, which is very, very Quiet, barely audible. Very nice stay experience! If you have to talk about the shortcomings, the only disadvantage is that the mouthwash cup provided is made of paper, which is easy to soften when exposed to water. If there is a more convenient one, it will be perfect!

The best budget hotel in Tokyo I could find. Location is great: Senso-ji temple is just around the corner, and Family Mart is two minutes away from the hotel. Close to Akihabara and Tokyo Sky Tree as well. For two person room, seven nights stay was less than $400!
The room itself has two beds and just enough space for two big luggage bags.
All the amenities you would expect to see in the 2 or 3 star hotel are present. The only thing I missed was the clothes dryer. Bathroom is clean and somewhat spacious.
Didn't have much chance to speak to the staff, but I think I've heard Chinese speach a lot.
Overall, quite enjoyable and affordable stay.
Moto Hotel Asakusa, a condominium hotel with 9 floors, is designed and constructed by a famous Japanese designer. Each room can accommodate 4 to 5 guests. The hotel is located on the roadside outside of Tokyo's oldest Jinjya, Asakusa Jinjya, and the famous Sensoji Temple. The entire building is a solid green color with an uneven balcony, from which you can see the different views of the SKYTREE every night. You may not be able to see the SKYTREE from the balcony due to bad weather or on the lower floors.
The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is a common space with a 3-meter-high wall of books, magazines, and comics in Chinese, English, and Japanese.
Next to the front desk is a 24-hour shared coin-operated laundry room. There are 2 washing machines (with automatic liquid detergent dispensing) and 2 gas dryers for quick drying and high temperature sterilization.
◎ Luggage drop-off is available on the check-in and checkout day.
◎ Housekeeping policy:
For a stay of 3-5 nights, Room cleaning and towels exchange will be arranged one time free of charge.
For a stay of 6-8 nights, Room cleaning and towels exchange will be arranged twice free of charge.
For 7 nights and above, duvet covers, pillow covers and bed sheets will be changed.

My second time staying here! Very cozy hotel, perfect for our trip as it is close to many tourist attractions we were visiting. Their free breakfast items hits the spot in the mornings especially their coffee and corn soup. Easy check-in, check-out too, staffs are very friendly.
The rooms are a little small but lots of storage space for luggages under the bed. Their common area was a really nice hangout place to eat, drink, chat or just relax at. They even had some free locker storage, magazine and anime books for guests to read.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me.
During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered “at the far end corner for the reception desk”, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signage’s provided in the property. But then…
Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests.
I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!
JJoyceLocation is great -5 mins walk from station. Rooms are decent size for Jap standard and hotel is modern and classy, doesn’t feel dated. No need to join the breakfast at hotel as lots of options nearby. 7/11 attached and Starbucks and cafes and shops within 2 mins walking distance. Sawamura ( turn right at Starbucks) has yummy bread and pastries and there is a line queuing up for lunch every day before 11.
GGuest UserI couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. The hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The amenities were fantastic, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tidy and welcoming place to stay!
GGuest UserI would definitely return to this hotel again. The staff was very attentive and the location is fantastic. The room we had stayed in was newly renovated and the interior design was very user friendly. The breakfast at the premier lounge was amazing.
LloobenjaminExcellent service staff especially Miss Fujita mending the checkin counter. She has been very friendly, helpful by providing us with a lot of information, explained in detail about the hotel facilities and even recommended us to some site seeing locations in Asakusa. Hotel is in a very strategic location within the heart of Asakusa, accessible by 2 metro line, with great 7-11 just a few steps away from the hotel. Definitely going to repeat our stay there in the future.
SSALLESWe had a nice stay at Washington Hotel Akihabara. The hotel is well located, nearby metro lines and local trains which allow us to easily move around Tokyo. Although the room is small, it is well designed and it big enough for few nights. The bed is not very large but comfortable. We managed to sleep with our 2 yo kid. You can also choose between soft or hard pillow. The bathroom was quite big with a nice bathtub. Around the hotel, you have plenty of restaurant and convenient stores. The buffet breakfast was great and everything we try tastes really good ! There is a large choice between Japanese food and wester food. Finally, there is a laundry area which was really convenient.
SSharon Tang (Sharon 852)It was fine, quite expensive for what seems like a hotel for business travellers. It is a good location, very close to the eating street. The lobby area is quite small, only a couple of chairs and a table, so can't really hang out there, which surprised me for what I paid for. The room is clean, but again quite small, it was long in length and narrow. But it did come with a shower room, and in addition had an onsen room on the top floor which was quite nice.
AAnonymous Useri booked the triple room as it was the only room left. there was space for only 1 large luggage - the room was a little old but bed and duvet surprisingly comfy. onsen was small so it got a little crowded as the hotel was full that night. location was great - tho the nearest ikebukuro stn exit with lift, C9 (vs 20b), is a little further from the station. excellent authentic chinese food nearby (豪妈 on google maps), and a family mart just across the street. great hotel!
GGuest UserI love the location it’s super convenient. Staff are super polite and smiley.
Service wise is not good too many strange rules firstly, there is no phone in the room. In case u need one it’s near the elevator on each floor to speak to the staff.
The twin bed are way too big for us 2/3 of the room. I can’t even open my suitcase easily.
Only one elevator in this 14 storeys hotel right next to their emergency stairways. There is a sign saying if you are in a rush please use the stairways but we were on the higher floor and it’s so cold February a few degrees Celsius ???? Well no thanks I shall wait patiently then……
No daily cleaning service we stayed 5 nights the hotel offered one time cleaning during our stay. All the dirty linens and garbage have to be placed outside your door by 10am if new towels needed. Strangely one bottle complimentary water was given to 2 guests daily together in a bag of towels and slippers toothbrush garbage bags. Only one washing machine ¥600 35mins, dryer ¥300 60mins available (cashless payment only) Onsen too small and poor facilities.
