Really friendly and clean hotel. Location is a bit off from main Tokyo station, but have shuttle running every 20 minutes. Would have been perfect if shuttle lasts a bit longer, as I felt that last shuttle is a bit early.

We were looking forward to return to Hyatt Regency because we enjoyed our stay back in December 2019 but was surprised to learn that the complimentary shuttle bus service was discontinued. We end up walking from Shinjuku station to the hotel. Again, we were informed by the reception that the Japanese breakfast was not available anymore due to the effect of the pandemic. I wanted to take a swim the following morning before heading out and was surprised to learn that the swimming pool was also closed. I might not stay in this hotel anymore next time since several of the service and facilities that were there before were removed.

Please note: this review is for South Plaza Luxe King. I decided to upgrade to Luxe King (from Luxe Queen) at the hotel for my 2nd and 3rd night. (trip.com still has my original bookings in the system, so that’s why the room type is different than my review). I previously wrote a review about the Luxe Queen, and I thought that room was great, but, I wanted to see the difference, and as I said in the last review, I always prefer a separate shower. Extra benefits from upgrading… — Separate shower, which I usually try to get. — Wider bed. — More space inside the room, and more storage space. One thing that doesn’t change much is the view. Or at least I don’t think it’s a noticeable change. I think some Luxe Queens can also have the same view (as the Luxe King) depending on their location across the width of the building. The corner room just had a different angle, but views from both rooms were great. I admit that I did see Mount Fuji at one point when it got really clear in the afternoon (on one of the days), but in general, the views are the same from both rooms. Also, maybe it depends what view you want… government building vs urban sprawl. You get both views from both rooms, it’s just that the angle changes. Did I have to upgrade no? But I wanted to try it and see the difference for next time. I believe both the Luxe Queen and Luxe King are excellent, and paying more you really do get some extra benefits. However, the Luxe isn’t cheap to start with, so I guess it depends on your budget. I think the Luxe King room is excellent.

The hotel was simply amazing! The premier grand rooms are brand new and extremely comfortable. High quality toiletries and accessories kept in the bathroom and good provisions made in the room make a very comfortable stay. The breakfast at the executive lounge was wonderful. Complimentary tea in the afternoon and drinks the the evening were an amazing addition. The views from the lounge on the 45th floor add to the experience. The service is excellent and the location of the hotel all adds up to a fantastic stay!

The Bellustar is a beautiful, new, sparkling hotel with big floor to ceiling windows and lovely decor. The atmosphere is serene and there are few rooms, so we had a quiet and pleasant stay. The room size and layout was comfortable. We used the concierge once and found she was very professional and assisted us perfectly. There is only one disadvantage: Even though there is a choice of the main course for breakfast, the side dishes and bread are exactly the same every day, which was a bit monotonous. However, if you order breakfast the evening before to be sent to your room, there is the option to have a Japanese breakfast. The building has its own airport limousine stop, and also a complimentary and serviced coffee/juice bar area on the ground floor which is handy when coming or going from the hotel.

Great location, just a very short walk from Shinjuku-nishi station. 3 mins walk! It's also about a 1 km walk to Shinjuku station where the hustle and bustle is. We bought a 24hour metro card for 600 Yen so perfect for use. Also straight metro to ginza. Ideal location. Hotel room is a bit small but functional and toilet was actually of comfortable size. Has a window. Clean rooms. Left luggage is just at the lobby and there was a bit of a mix up but otherwise ok.

Was wonderful! Had been to this hotel for my third time. Very new, very clean. The TV got airplay. They have loads of coffee/tea/bathing/lotion packs downstairs unlimited. 7-11 downstairs was very conven. May walk to Shinjuku, or take tje railway/taxi.

Wow, I am really impressed with this hotel! It has a great location close to very important places in Shinjuku. You are about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the ****************** and golden gai. Also all around this restaurant are great little local bars and restaurants that can make anyone happy so you don’t need to go to the tourist spots to get great Japanese or foreign food. 10/10 for location. The size is decent for Tokyo as most hotel rooms are small in Tokyo however, it is pretty useful if you’re just sleeping here since most of the time you’ll be out and about walking in the city. However, the room is fully equipped with everything. You need a comfortable soft bed and a good bathroom with the bathtub. Also, the staff here is super helpful. They speak English quite well and can help you with anything you need like if you need to book tour, groups or need help to get around the city they’re very nice I would definitely recommend staying here. Also, if you’re travelling from a far you and forgot a universal adapter don’t worry ,the hotel room is fully equipped with 2 USB slots.

Pros Location is fantastic. View from room was good. Shopping and dining options right at the doorstep. Reception staff were really friendly. Cons Tiny room. Pricey for the size. Though clean, the hotel is old and the room showed its age. The toilet smelled of pee. Btw, Shinjuku Station is humongous, so it still meant like an 8-minute walk from the JR Station.

The hotel was cute and the staff were friendly. The room was a bit stinky, kind of a body odour smell in the room, but we only stayed for one night so it wasn’t so bad. If we stayed longer we would request another room for sure. It was too far away to walk to Shinjuku so needed to take a train 2 stops to get to Shinjuku Nishi where the hotel is located.

最悪でした。ウェブサイトで支払いなどの手続きは前月に済ませて、朝食付き宿泊予約の確認メールを複数回もらっていました。昼間にチェックインが午後9時になってもよいかと名前を伝えて電話したら大丈夫だというので午後9時に行くと、宿泊者リストに名前がないと。そんなはずはないとその場で本人確認用の運転免許や予約確認のメールや専用サイトの記録をすべて見せましたが、「きょうは満室なので泊まれない」「予約システムのAirhostのせい」の一点張り。地方から東京に旅行できて、台風が迫る天気の悪い中、夜中に追い出されるという最悪の結果になりました。 もうクレジットカード決済をしていると伝えると「デイユースの間違いでは？」と。提示しているメールにも予約サイトの確認用ページにも間違いなくチェックインチェックアウトの日付が書いてあり、朝食付きとあるのに（目の前に予約確認の証拠を複数出しているのに満員だから泊まれないの一点張りというのは正直びっくりしました）。受付の方に文句を言っても仕方ないし、満室ということなので無理矢理言うと悪天候の中誰かを追い出すことになるので、あきらめて近くで宿泊できると場所について聞いたら、向かいにアパホテルがあると言われ、行ってみたらアパホテルは長期間の閉鎖中。もう一人の受付の女性が教えてくれた新宿駅西口の快活クラブが奇跡的に一室だけ空いてたのでなんとかなりましたが、こんなひどい経験は生まれて初めてのレベルです。 翌日にメールで上記の事情を伝えて、クレジットカードの決済は無効にしてほしいと伝えましたが、謝罪や決済処理についての連絡がいまだにありません。その状況で「宿泊はいかがでしたか」と感想をTripAdviserに投稿するよう促すメールがきました。きちんとした連絡があれば公開するのは控えようかと思っていましたが、同じ思いをする方がでないように、注意喚起として書いておきます。自分の子どもが同じ経験をしたらと思うと恐ろしいです。

Getting there Getting to the hotel from narita airport, you can take the keisei skyliner to change at Nippori at the Yamamote line to change and stop at Takanobaba and change to another train Seibu Shinjuku station. It will be a few minutes walk to the hotel from there. Very convenient. To go back to the airport, book yourself an express bus directly at the lobby entrance (QR code is there) with a screen on the departure timing to various airports so you don’t have to lug your luggage. Stay Luxurious hotel right smack in the middle of all the action, eateries, shopping, etc. I stayed for 7 nights at the premier suite which I believe had one of the best views around this area. Room is spacious for Japanese standards. And the 2 toilets and 2 bath is something we really appreciate. Amenities are all given, and you have everything in the room, including a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. Staff are friendly and eager to help during check in etc. I did not have much chance to interact with them since I also did not book one with breakfast. One tip is the enter the hotel through Starbucks directly downstairs, instead of going one round to enter the lobby. Just cut through Starbucks and go down the stairs immediately and make a left turn to the lobby. Afterthoughts Good and new hotel in an excellent location. Some things will need to be improved, out of the 7 nights, I only request for rooms to be cleared twice. The first time, housekeeping forgot to refill my towels after removing them, forgot to refill our drinking waters and even left a dirty tshirt in my toilet that don’t belong to me. I believe that could be used by them to clean the toilet, else no reasons someone’s dirty tshirt is found and left in my toilet. Should have definitely used a cleaner rag to clean up the toilet. I did not crate a fuss about it but just took the tshirt out of the room since it is a new hotel that just opened for one week and all staff are new too. But this should not happen next time again, especially since this is a suite booking. P/S check out Ichiran 3 mins walk away and the 24 hours Don Quixote too.

4.5 stars! My spouse, son, and I have previously stayed at Kadoya in December 2019. I was delighted with our most recent stay in February 2023. Last time, I booked a triple bed room. This time I booked a ”Fourth Standard - 2 king beds (Universal Design Type -B” room. What a terrific room. The tv set was massive! Even I had to grin at the size of the tv screen. There was a ledge behind the bed which was convenient to put cups on during our evening beverages. We also used the ledge to place our cellphones on overnight as they charged. Ample electrical plugs. The room has a small fridge to keep drinks cool. A microwave is located in the laundry room. The laundry room also has two washing machines and two dryers. All coin operated. There is also a vending machine in the laundry room. Handrails in the shower/tub of the bathroom much appreciated. Staff at Kadoya that I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. I requested front desk staff to kindly print out documents and they did so without hesitation. Housekeeping staff is friendly and promptly brought me towels and extra wooden hangers when requested. Daily housekeeping service. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash all had a pleasant fragrance. We were provided with feather-free pillows and feather-free duvets given our allergies. Room was clean. Ample space for 4 luggages. Excellent location. Close to Shinjuku station. Several dining options nearby. Pharmacy nearby. 24 hour Lawson convenience store next door. Another Lawson across the street. Travel tip: We arrived at Kadoya using the Airport Limousine Bus which departed from Narita. I chose the Keio Plaza Hotel instead of the Shinjuku stop as it is closer to Kadoya. Get off at the Keio Plaza stop and walk through the lobby. Leave the Keio Plaza hotel and walk 2 blocks to Kadoya. When going to Narita, in order to get to Narita quicker I booked the Airport Limousine Bus to depart from Shinjuku as the earliest bus leaving from Keio Plaza hotel was not early enough for me. Catch the bus from Bus Stop 23 located right in front of the Airport Limousine Bus ticketing office, to the left of Keio department store. Currently, Airport Limousine Bus routes and schedules are reduced. All in all a pleasant stay at Kadoya!

Petit hôtel très bien situé sur la yamanote Line avec une station de métro à 500m de chate côté (okubo et shin okubo). A 1 arrêt de la grosse gare de Shinjuku depuis Shin okubo. Des combinis (supérettes) tout autours, des petits restaurants, salles de jeux, Mc Donald. La chambre quadruple contenait deux lits doubles (et non ils n étaient pas trop petits), petite table avec tasses et bouilloire. Frigidaire et TV. Il nous fallait refermer les valises pour circuler mais la penderie et l étagère ont permis de sortir le nécessaire minimum. Rideaux occultants aux fenêtres, climatisation. Cabine salle de bain avec petite baignoire, sèche cheveux, savons visage, savon corps, savon mains, shampoing. Serviettes et peignoirs propres mis chaque jour lors du ménage. Au 6eme et dernier étage toute petite salle pour fumeurs, malheureusement manque d aération pour ceux qui viennent au distributeur de boissons, fontaine à eau ou au micro onde Personnel très sympathique, ils nous ont même remplis nos docs d expédition de valised en appelant le futur hôtel pour s assurer que l adresse était bonne. Nous y avons passé un bon séjour de 5nuits, minimum nécessaire pour nous qui n y étions que pour dormir.

Struttura un po' datata e arredo abbastanza spartano, ma camere enormi rispetto alla media nazionale. Bagno molto grosso, anche se i sanitari blu e lucidi si sporcavano solo a guardarli. Abbiamo molto apprezzato la presenza degli accappatoi che, se necessario, venivano cambiati tutti i giorni. Camera molto silenziosa, ma abbastanza buia considerato anche che le finestre sono oscurate, perciò non è possibile vedere fuori e filtra pochissima luce. Alla reception parlano un inglese molto elementare, ma non abbiamo mai avuto problemi di comprensione e lo staff è stato sempre gentilissimo. Posizione della struttura più che ottima: si trova in una vietta laterale, tra una fermata della Yamanote e quella di un'altra linea metro. Shinjuku è a circa 20 minuti a piedi e nel quartiere di Shinokubo sono presenti numerosi ristorantini, konbini e anche un Don Quijote. In conclusione: consigliatissimo per chi vuole spendere poco, non ha molte pretese e vuole essere in un'ottima posizione.

수상 할 정도로 영어에 능통한 일본 호텔. 편의점이 가까운 거리에 있습니다. 모든게 조금 떨 어진 곳에 위치하고 있지만 5분 내에 다 갈 수 있으니까 거리는 그렇게 신경 쓰지 않아도 되는 거 같아요. 무엇보다 좋은 점은 치안이 마음에 들어요~~~! 여자 혼자 온다고 하면은 나쁘지 않은 선택이 라고 생각합니다 합니다. 룸 컨디션은 일본 호텔 특성상 소리가 조금 방음이 안 되는 면이 있지만 이정도 가격에 이정도 느낌은 괜찮다고 생각이 되요. 다음에도 숙박 예정 있습니다.
