Our family booked two rooms for three nights at the KOKOHOTEL Residence Asakusa Tawaramachi. I mainly chose the hotel because it is in Asakusa, which would make getting around Ginza,Shibuya. We returned a little early at 2:30 pm and I asked if we could check in a little early and they allowed us to. I asked about our luggage, and they noted it was already in our rooms. I guess I could have checked in a little earlier. The room itself was very nice and clean. The bathroom was also very luxurious and clean. The shower had excellent water pressure and heat levels. Front desk staff are vevry friendly. especially the beautiful staff Fukui san did help us a lot of. She was so sweet and kindly. We stopped by FUKUI many times with our problems such as restaurant reservations and Disney ticket purchases, but each time they helped us with a wonderful smile. she smile seemed to solve all our problems and was very reassuring. It's a perfect 5 star hotel in my opinion and one that everyone should experience at least once.

We like this hotel very much, it suited us well having a little extra space with a roomy couch in the room. Our room had a nice view of Skytree and we loved its proximity to Ueno Station, Ameyoko market, and transportation. Beds and lighting were great. We liked that the neighborhood was so quiet at night. Check in was pretty easy once you get over that no one is at the desk. No breakfast offered, Family Mart, Lawson's, and nearby food halls provided plenty of housekeeping options. Disliked · The lack of staffing at the front desk meant that we may have waited an additional night without our delayed luggage. No bowls provided in the kitchen. Not a lot of restaurants in the immediate area, but you really don't have to go far.

The hotel is very convenient. Not that bery accessible compared to the other Monday ueno but i find it more peaceful and relaxing. It is still very near to the station about 6mins walk. Plenty of convenience store on every block. Plus the fact that the location is near the ameyoko market. Just some 12mins of walking I think. This is our very first travel with my family alone, with my 4 yo son and my 14 yo daughter. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and attentive to your needs. The room is very clean amd spacious for the three of us. Will definitely book again on this hotel. Plus they did store our luggages before our flight after the 10am check. I get it back at 2pm before going to the airport. The hotel is very secured and safe too with passcode doors.

Just checked in. Initial impression is very good. The room is very clean and looks nice. You can even borrow a Nintendo Switch in exchange for a 200 word tripadvisor review, hence I am writing this right now. Honest opinion. I'm excited to stay here.

Its actually a 12mins walk from Ueno station. Walk can seem long if u are carrying your luggages. Day 1, housekeeping came in and replace the towels + place additional towels. Day 2 soiled towels werent collected. Day 3 trash werent collected. All despite placing outside our door. Layout of the room was OK. The washer was helpful, but without a designated laundry area. We hang them all over the toilet. When we were checking in we overheard a rude receptionist speaking to another visitor. When our child was running around while waiting to be served, the receptionist stomped over and ask him to stop playing in a ill manner. This puts all the polite Japanese to shame. He could have spoken nicely.

Akhirnya mendapat penginapan yang selesa minggu ini . Kecuali tiada air panas sama sekali pada malam pertama, tiada masalah besar secara keseluruhan. Di samping itu, walaupun bilik yang saya duduki berada di tingkat lima, bunyi dari jalan masih jelas kedengaran, lebih-lebih lagi terdapat *** kecil berhampiran, yang agak bising pada waktu malam dan pada waktu malam. Bilik itu agak lama dan baunya boleh diterima. Lagipun, pada harga ini, kami memang tidak boleh meminta lebih. Sebaliknya, kebimbangan terbesar ialah lokasi hotel benar-benar menyusahkan. Ia diapit di antara stesen Minamisenju, Shimonoseki dan Asakusa. Ia mengambil masa lebih daripada 15 minit untuk berjalan kaki dari mana-mana stesen. Selain itu, terdapat banyak hotel berhampiran hotel.Memang tempat adat.Ramai orang merokok dan berjalan di atas jalan.Tanah pun bersepah.Ada juga geng kanak-kanak berkumpul pada waktu malam. Walaupun keselamatan keseluruhannya agak baik, gadis-gadis harus berhati-hati apabila melalui sini.

I love this accommodation! The unit we got is good for 7-8 guests, with 4 queen size beds. It has a dining table and kitchen utensils. There is 1 shower room which I enjoyed since there is high water pressure with easy to adjust water temp. There are 2 water closets so very convenient if 2 persons had to pee or poop at the same time. There is also a washer. Beds are a bit hard and pillows too thin for us causing us to snore because our heads are tilted downwards. No daily cleaning service. No changing of towels. No shampoo refills. No 24h reception. If you need anything, you have to message them via ipad at the counter. TV - all japanese programs. No English movies or shows. If watching TV is important to you, bring google chromecast. Wifi is free. Cleanliness - Excellent! No corner was left unclean. Truly Japanese standard. No roaches, no bad smell. No molds. Location - 5 mins walk from Inaricho station. There is Maruetsu 24hr grocery and 7-11 at the corner. Very convenient for us since we often just buy bento food for dinner after whole day of roaming around. Price - Value for money. I paid 836usd pesos for 5 nights good for 7 pax. With its comfort, I think its a very good deal. Points to improve : Add pillows or make them thicker/fluffier, change towels every 2 days at least, add hanging rod for wet towels, add phone inside the unit to contact reception for questions.

The hotel is quite a walk from the train station so it’s not very convenient. Location is in a quiet neighborhood. No hotel staff and you will have to follow instructions for online check-in. However, video call is available if guests need to talk to a staff. Nonetheless, it’s quite impersonal and thus there was no impact in terms of service experience. Rooms are spacious, complete with washing machine, tub, amenities. We booked a room for 3 persons. When we entered the room, only 2 beds were set up, the 3rd bed which was a sofa bed was not set up. We were told that we need to be the one to put the sheets on the sofa bed. Not a very good experience. Overall, we would prefer to stay in a hotel will hotel staff.

This hotel is truly great! The rooms are big enough for the three of us to stay in comfortably. They have the best staff whom provided us with great service. The location of this hotel is also located in a very convenient location where lots of attractions are in walking distance and there are lots of subway stations also within walking distance. Overall me and my family had a great visit to gooey and a wonderful stay at this hotel.
