The morning set meal at Shimizu was very good. However, on the day we arrived, our luggage was mistakenly taken to my sister's room, who came with us, and we were not able to get it moved. I wish the bellboys would think a little more about this. The rooms are clean and the wooden decorations in the lobby are a must-see! Close to Shinagawa station, so there are plenty of restaurants and pubs to eat at. The bar Asama is also very relaxing and the french fries were delicious.

I had a wonderful time at this beautiful yet understated property. It was a peaceful oasis just within walking distance of shops, parks, nightlife, easy transport to the rest of the city from subway. I was most impressed by the unobtrusive consideration from staff. I came a few hours before check in, asked to store my luggage for a good nearby spot to relax. The staff, seeing I was tired, instead offered me a slightly upgraded room that was immediately available for check-in. Throughout my stay I was courteously offered umbrellas to take as I walked outside, bottles of water after my workout, but never felt as though I were being hovered over. I will certainly stay here again.

Spent one night at the Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, and would have moved to a different hotel if we had needed to stay longer. The place is outdated, and in desperate need to upgrade rooms and facilities. The room lighting is poor, which accentuates the shabby feel to the room and bath. The bedside tables have ancient light switches, there are no USB ports anywhere in the rooms, but the lack of air conditioning in the hotel is really the worst insult to a weary traveler who is given a room that is 80F and has a tiny window. Ice is available only on select floors, there is no convenient Lawsons or 7-11. We paid 24,000JPY for the night which is hugely overpriced. At least the staff were able to provide a circulating fan to help deal with the heat in the room, but it wasn't really sufficient. I would not recommend and will not go back.

I stayed at this hotel at the end of March 2023 and had an excellent stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient for us because it is connect to the Shinagawa train station via a short covered skyway. Shinagawa can be easily reached via train from NRT or HND airports. I have stayed at this hotel many times. Every time I have been treated very well. All the staff I have encountered were very courteous and professional. Room was very clean and comfortable with a very nice view of the surround area. There is a 7-11 store near the entry to the hotel thus very convenient if I want to buy drinking water or Japanese snacks. The breakfast buffet is very high quality and very delicious. I had such a nice stay and can not wait to go back again

This hotel is 5 minutes walk from Yamanote Line Osaki station, which is one station away from Shinagawa, thus making it very convenient from a transportation POV. It's ta the edge of a residential area hence it's very very quiet. It's 2nd floor is connected to couple of large office buildings that have quite a few nice restaurants. There is a small family mart at about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. There is no shopping and entertainment near by. The hotel's interior is somewhat simple and in old fashion. You will get a nice rest there. In short, it's a money for value type of hotel.

Imagine, you get to the property and you are expected. Management receives you at the door, your paperwork has already been processed. You are ushered to your room and screens in your room have your custom welcome message with your name spelled correctly. This is the New Otani Hotel in Tokyo. A bit of a cultural surprise, your attendants take off their shoes before entering your room! The presidential suite 1535 known as Hiroshinge is nothing short of palatial and supreme. The kitchen, office, dining and lounge all fused one spacious open plan with spectacular views of Tokyo of greens spaces surrounding urban high rise buildings. Walk-in closet and bathroom are also generously provided. Taking a shower is like walking in the rain—no claustrophobic cubicles of modern shower designs. Of course Japan is a high tech country—needless to say most room services (door, toilets, ironing or clothes) are automated. Eating from the Japanese menus tops it off—sushi, sashimi, wasabi, wagyu beef, tempura, miso soup, udon noodles and sake. This is a place YOU must visit. I will be back.

Wonderful hotel at a remarkably good location. Gotanda is not often on the list for visitors to Tokyo, but it is on both Yamamote Line and Toei Asakusa Line (with direct train services to Narita Airport!). Super convenient - 15 mins to either Shinjuku or Ginza, 25 mins to Ikebukuro or Akihabara. The hotel comes with free rooftop bath houses - another rare find in Tokyo. Lots of amenities and very helpful reception people. Room is big - for Japan standard. My mother was impressed by the size even as a seasoned traveller to Japan. 10/10 five stars!

大変綺麗なホテルです。部屋も広い作りで使いやすい。年末なのに、朝食付きでお安く泊まれました。レセプションはレストランやショップと同じフロアにあり、こじんまりとしていますが、宿泊客用コーヒーマシンがあります。接客はまあ普通ですね、あまり期待しないでください。アメニティバーは種類が豊富です。特に入浴剤がたくさんありますね。チェックインは最近増えたタッチパネル式です。館内説明は部屋のテレビで見ます。カードキーをかざさないと、エレベーターで客室にはいかれません。お部屋は最上階をアサインしてもらいました。しかし五反田という土地柄？眺めは今ひとつですね。あと、電車の音が気になる人は線路側ではない部屋をリクエストしてください。お部屋は広くて使いやすいです。お風呂が広くバスタブもありますし、洗い場に椅子があります。お部屋の床もシミがなく、デスクなども綺麗。ベッドも広くマットレスも良い硬さ。私は気になりませんでしたが、ビジネスだとデスクが小さいかもしれませんね。空気清浄機あり。部屋着がガーゼ仕様で柔らかくて良かったです。もう少しズボンの丈が長ければ良かったです、女性は膝下も冷えるので。テレビはYouTubeもあります。冷蔵庫が全く冷えなかったのが残念です。周囲の部屋からの物音は時々しましたが、想定の範囲内でした。JRホテルズの無料会員になれば、チェックアウトが1時間延長されます。アプリで出来ますので、是非。朝食はレセプション階のレストランで頂きます。サラダバーが種類豊富で美味しい。メインは一つ選びますが、オムレツがおすすめです。場所柄値段設定が安いのだと思うのですが、観光しないのであればテレワークにも良いですし、のんびりするのもいいと思います。コンビニもあるしすぐ近くにスーパーもありますから買い物には困りません。

Disebabkan ada urusan tiba-tiba, saya menggunakannya sendirian untuk satu malam. Bilik bujang, pada mulanya saya terkejut dengan kekompakan, Saya fikir ia adalah harga yang berpatutan dan sangat baik untuk kegunaan perniagaan. Ia bersih dan tidak terlalu besar, jadi ia sesuai untuk mendaftar masuk pada waktu malam dan bertolak keesokan harinya. Sebaliknya, saya tidak mendapat perkhidmatan yang saya ingat, Saya gembira kerana saya menerima maklum balas yang baik di meja depan untuk soalan yang saya ajukan, dan, sudah tentu, saya menerima ucapan ceria pada waktu pagi apabila saya keluar. Terima kasih banyak - banyak. Saya akan menggunakannya apabila saya pergi ke sana lagi.

東横インは、良くも悪くも普通のビジネスホテルです。内容は個性が無いけど間違った所もない。我々ビジネスマンには泊まって良いホテルの代表みたいなホテルだと思います。 ここ大井町も、レベルは同じ感じでアメニティも充実してます。ただ、天井の壁紙が剥がれててたり、ドアが軋んでたりとメンテナンスをもう少し気をつけて欲しいかな。 フロントにはお伝えしたので、対応してくれると思います。

It was a few years since we stayed at this Marriott and it looked almost the same. We still had to catch the shuttle to the hotel from Shinagawa Station. The bus looked just like one of the city buses so that was confusing initially since we expected to see one with the Marriott name on it. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite and it was quite spacious though the furnishings seemed a little dated. Since this was our last night in Japan it was perfect since we decided to spend the evening and most of the next morning resting before our flight home. The bathroom had lots of useful countertop space with separate shower and toilet. The marble flooring in the shower was a concern and we had to be very careful when it was wet and not slip. Not sure why they chose polished marble for the flooring as there was not traction. The lounge had nice views and served snacks and drinks all day. The afternoon tea was quite light but at least the evening spread was a little better. We opted to eat breakfast in the first floor restaurant with it wide buffet selection. It was as good as before and we enjoyed the fruits, pastries, Japanese and western items. As for other parts of the hotel, a Family Mart (?) was in the basement of the adjoining office building so one could buy snacks and drinks. A small park was in the back, had a couple waterfalls to enjoy but seemed a bit overgrown with paths that were closed off. The gym on the first floor was functional with dumbbells and cardio equipment. Service overall was good especially in the lounge where we spent a lot of time.

It takes 7mins walking distance from JR station to hotel according to Google map, but you need to climb a bridge. So if you with big luggage and takes you 10mins to the hotels. It is not the most convenience.

東京に遊びに行く時は毎回のように利用しています。 交通の便が良く近くにコンビニもあるので気に入っています。 少し古い建物ですが無料のWi-Fiもあるし問題はありません。 今回は１人で泊まるのでシングルルームを予約しましたがツインルームを用意してくれていました。 荷物を広げるのに便利で広いお部屋でゆっくり眠ることができました。 ありがとうございました。 画像は部屋からの眺めと、目の前の川にかかる橋などの夜景です。ホテル自体が写っているわけではありません…悪しからず。
