We had a fantastic night's stay and rest at Tomar story. It was extremely clean and the room was decorated beautifully. We loved the themed aspect of our room and the window and view of the river was beautiful. The hotel staff were lovely and looked after our luggage outside of the check in / checkout times. Tomar is a brilliant riverside town and the visit to the Castle and Church of Christ to see the Knights Templar headquarters has been the highlight of our Portuguese tour.

Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in Portugal. Super central in the historic center, the main street is just a few meters away.
The hotel itself is so amazing! Very clean, super fast wifi, great rain shower with very good pressure, spacious toilet & shower area, comfortable beds. All incredibly good amenities.
My visit to my most favorite small town in Portugal was complemented with my stay in my most favorite hotel in Portugal. Wish I had stayed longer!

L'hotel si trova in posizione centrale, vicino ad un parcheggio gratuito della zona.
Stanza di dimensioni confortevoli, con bagno privato.

Great convienant place to stay. Parking was in a free lot but it was about 400 meters away so if you have mobility issues this may not be for you. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. She let us store our bags at checkout so we could tour the town. This is a very good place for the price. It is very close to old town and many restuarants and grocery stores. Highly recommend.

The debit was cute and references the town. The person at the front desk was always pleasant and helpful. However, I walk with a cane (guest house didn't know) and we're were on the 2nd floor. It was difficult. The bed was surrounded by three walls, so we had to literally crawl into bed from the foot. The was also a stair up to the bed, and my husband almost fell when he got up at night. Not a good fit for a couple in there seventies.

Overall the stay here was excellent. Just a couple of things travelers should know
If you're staying on the top floor it can be a long way up, good cardio, as there is no lift.
Also the blurb says that parking is available, its not.
The hotel is extremely clean, bed changed daily etc

Love love loved this property. Perfectly outfitted , not too small. Really really clean. Great location! Staff are wonderful and breakfast perfect! Lots of coffee.
