I've always held Pan Pacific Toronto in high regard, considering it a top-tier hotel known for its comfort and luxury. However, my recent stay left much to be desired. Despite booking a room in winter, the heating didn't work, and the issue was poorly handled, requiring multiple calls for resolution. Initially, the staff seemed to brush off our concerns, invalidating our frustration by falsely claiming that the entire hotel was experiencing heating issues. This dismissal only heightened our frustration, especially upon discovering it was a lie.
It was only after expressing our exasperation that a more capable staff by the name of Chrisel, member intervened, relocating us to a room with heating that works. While the new room was an improvement, maintenance issues like a malfunctioning faucet and worn-out amenities were evident that the hotel might have overlooked proper maintenance.
Overall, while the hotel offers luxury, the disappointing handling of the heating issue highlights the need for improvement in guest services and maintenance. I would recommend Pan Pacific Toronto to focus on enhancing their understanding of guest concerns and prioritize their business centers around service excellence and guest experience.
