Hotel di St. Lawrence Market Area, Toronto

The hotel location is perfect and the check in experience is quite smooth. We checked in early without any hassle. The staff is cooperative and all tourist spots are within walking distance.

I was very impressed with this hotel since I used to stay at the hotel when it was the Intercontinental. They spruced it up a bit with some paint and lighter hallways but really it was the service that impressed me. All the staff I came in contact with were excellent. The room was bright and comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a little old as the shower door felt like it would fall off it’s hinges and gone were the luxury soaps creams and shampoos from the IC. No frills but if you asked for a bathrobe they brought it up. Fridge was not working but the Nespresso machine was. Never ending great coffee was a big plus too. I tried room service twice as I was working in the room during the day and the food, while limited, was delicious. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel as the location can’t be beat as well.

The service at reception was ok. Elevators took forever to go to my floor or come back down. When I checked out it took 30 min on the elevator to get to the lobby from my floor. No water or snacks in the room. No coffee pot or glasses in the room. The cleaning lady refused to clean the room when I was there. So I left and let her know and came back and it was still not clean, pretty annoying. The menu lacked options. After I checked out I asked for a taxi and they gave me an unlicensed one which I didn’t notice until after we left. Paid considerably more for the fare. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The room was spectacular and the food was delicious. We went down to the restaurant the first night and they had a pianist and a great vibe. We enjoyed the pool the following day and all the services were wonderful. We also ordered room service which was my favorite part! The pancakes are to die for. Every single team member was amazing, genuine and kind. Bravo on running such a welcoming lovely place.

Possibly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. However, I can’t give full 5 stars to Hotel St. Regis Toronto for reasons that I’ll explain later. On the subject of location, the Hotel St. Regis in Toronto is in a very fantastic location in downtown Toronto with many of the city’s main sights and attractions (CN Tower, St. Lawrence’s Market and Yonge-Dundas square) all within short walking distance from this hotel. Readily accessible through RideShare apps too. Regarding staff, they were super friendly and helpful, in our experience. We initially had some debit card issues at check-in and admittedly, we should have been better-prepared for the credit card culture in North America. Thankfully, St. Regis were very flexible and our debit card issues were eventually resolved. I’m truly impressed by how accommodating St. Regis are for those of us who are from places that very rarely use credit cards. The offer of complimentary water at check-in was also appreciated. The housekeeping team, especially the Filipinos, were very thorough, kept our suite spotless and respected guest privacy. And on check-out experience, this is where St. Regis Toronto loses points for me. The check-out process took way longer than what is typically expected especially for a 5-star location (should be ＜10 min but took about 30 min for us). Unfortunately, a bit of the little time we have left in Toronto was wasted. What’s also disappointing was this time, there was no offer of complimentary drinks (even tap water, which is free and generally safe to drink in Toronto) while we wait. Admittedly, the staff seemed overwhelmed and visibly stressed during the time we were trying to check-out but I hope the situation improves for the St. Regis Toronto team in the future. On the atmosphere, it was magnificent and luxurious. These two words came to mind when we first entered the lobby. The grandiose look of Hotel St. Regis in Toronto permeated the whole building, from the hallways to our suite. In terms of our room, we booked the Grand Suite which was on the 28th floor and the views from up there, especially at night, were phenomenal. Our suite was very spacious and generally had plenty of storage room. St. Regis Toronto also loses some points here when it comes to storage since we found that there was insufficient storage space for cold items and there was no freezer either. The heated floors and the walk-in shower were also fantastic. The accent wall, mood lighting, clever use of marble for the room design and chandeliers were wonderful touches too, contributing to the luxurious atmosphere of this hotel. The living area of the Grand Suite was our favourite area, especially at night. I’m going to mention the views from the Grand Suite again as they were truly spectacular. On the online engagement. at the time of writing, I found the low level of engagement by St. Regis Toronto with online reviewers here at Google disappointing. I think the hotel should make more of an eff

Overall the hotel is great. The M Club Lounge is outstanding. Hotel bar/restaurant is very solid. Fitness center is adequate to all my needs. Staff across the board are top notch. The main issue 'for me' is that I am a light sleeper and if you have aircraft taking off on runway 06 L (especially the larger jets) you can actually feel a minor rumbling in the room (hotel is really close to end of runway). Besides this and other than the rooms/bathroom need updating, this hotel would be a 5 star review all day long.

Good location and nice king size bed room Just wifi needs to pay and free for Marriott member only I am the Marriott member but during the check out , it charges me wifi fee , after discussion, then it was waived as I am the member , I would suggest to Offer free wifi for hotel customers as this is very common in all other high class hotels

We were happy of the place and the location. We were supposed to give 5 star. But an incident happened when we left. I requested for a cab to bring us to Billy Bishop airport and a lady assisted us well. We were informed that the cab is already outside, we placed all our stuffs in the cab and we sat inside ready to leave. But another guy also requested for a cab right after us. A very accommodating and friendly staff (Indian) helped us bring our luggages outside. (He was really kind, assisted us regardless of our nationality.) But when we were about to leave the guy (White, could be America ) who also asked for a cab webt outside assuming that our cab was his. The front desk (Chinese) asked the other staff (Indian) to ask us out of the cab, the Indian guy explained that we asked for a cab first but the Chinese guy didn't bother to listen. All he wants was for us to get out of the cab, didn't even apologize.

I'm thoroughly impressed. Not only is the service top-notch, but the location is simply fantastic. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the incredibly friendly staff. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and valued as a customer. I highly recommend it!
