Accueil sympa Personnel agréable Chambres trop petite mais comme avantage bonne literie sauf oreiller un peu trop mou Salle de bain à revoir avec une porte qui ne se ferme pas, pas de fenêtre dans la salle de bain, salle de bain à rénover car sa fait trop ancien, baignoire trop abîmée et l’eau qui fait que changer de température toute seule (chaud 5 min, froid 5 min en continue)

Tres bon petit hôtel bien organisé, parfaitement propre et servi par une équipe assez sympathique. Les chambres sont très bien entretenues, tout est en bon état. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est plutôt bien achalandé, même si les machines à café ne fonctionnent pas de façon optimale. Cet hôtel doit être très agréable en été, même si il est perdu dans une sorte de zone industrielle. Je recommande cet établissement.

Unbelievably disappointed with this hotel and a majority of its staff. We experienced a tragic void of cleanliness, professionalism and hospitality during our entire stay at the Mercure Hotel in Toulon, France. Unfortunately, our fruitless attempts to resolve these issues directly with on-site management (which does not exist) and corporate personnel (impossible to contact) leave us feeling violated of our dignity and robbed of our time and money. We hope the following information will help others in the future, including travelers, hospitality staff, Sébastien Bazin, Gilles Pélisson, and the like. CLEANLINESS: Upon our arrival, we could literally see dust and dirt on all of the shelves, counter tops, balconies and floors of the hotel and room. Even the carpet in the room was so dirty it stained the bottom of our clean socks. The toilet room smelled bad, like, well, a used toilet. We politely asked for it to be cleaned, however, no one ever came, not even to freshen up the room at any point during our stay. COMFORT: The air conditioning did not work in our room, ever. When we spoke to the front desk staff about the sweltering temperature of 90 degrees F in our room (even though the thermostat read 16 C) and were informed to “leave the room for awhile to let it work”. We left at 3:30PM and returned at 11PM to a less sweltering temperature of 85 degrees F in our room. We asked staff member available, Alexi/Alex at the front desk, if he could fix the thermostat. He begrudgingly came to take a look and was profusely sweating after one minute in the room. He could not turn on the air conditioning even though the thermostat read the same 16C. He said we could open the window, but that would just let in the bugs in and turn off the air completely. He also suggested we leave the room to wait 15 minutes for it to turn on…? Given that that strategy did not work when suggested earlier, we asked for a different room with working air conditioning. He laughed at us and said no because it would not make his manager happy. We said we would happily speak to the manager about the issue and he laughed again, said no, and stated management is not available on the weekends. We then asked for some sort of a solution and Alexi/Alex appeared annoyed and said “there is nothing to be done” and that he had to get back to his “other duties” at the hotel. Turns out it was actually the end of his shift and he did not want to stay any longer that his end time to deal with this problem. We noted that the sheets and bedding were surprisingly all polyester, which doesn’t breathe like cotton, and acts like a heat conductor and made it more difficult to achieve sleep. He laughed again and said all the rooms are the same and there is nothing to be done. We went back to the front desk to ask for help from the next staff member and found that the only person available was a very kind, intelligent security guard named Cherkre(sp?). Nous avons séjourner avec mon fils mardi dernier, accueil très agréable, belle vue piscine un peu froide mais agréable sauna et hammam impeccable. belle vue la chambre propre, presque parfait sauf... La Personne qui accueille les clients au petit déjeuner , faut tout simplement qu'u change de métier il n'est pas à la hauteur de l'hôtel, froid impoli, pas bonjour, réponse sèche à mon fils, mot pour la direction dommage d'avoir une peronne comme lui au petit déjeuner alors que vous avez une vue extraordinaire, ça gâche tout.

We had an unplanned 4 night stay at the hotel following a break in to our camper van (which was parked by the naval barracks in central Toulon). All of our personal belongings were stolen, including our passports; all we had with us was our little dog, his food and feeding bowls and the clothes we were wearing. We arrived very late in the evening to the hotel (without a reservation) and still in complete shock. We were able to securely park our damaged van in the underground car park and made our way to reception. There, we were met by Kevin, who was brilliant and very understanding - he made sure we had everything we needed before we went to bed that night. The next morning, we had a huge amount of admin and logistics to navigate, as our original plan was to travel onwards to Mallorca, and this is when we met Samuel. There were countless times that myself and partner asked Samuel for his help and advice with trying to print documents and assist with communicating on our behalf. Our French isn’t very good and the team’s English is excellent! He went above and beyond to help us. Nothing was a problem despite him and the team being very busy. We met Bernard a few days into our stay and he also demonstrated the same will to help, cheerfulness and professionalism. He was able to find a good vet for us close to the hotel who was able to help with paperwork and worming treatment for our dog so we could return together back to the U.K. We are extremely grateful to Kevin, Samuel and Bernard for their fantastic service and help. It made a huge difference to us following a very stressful experience. Although most of our interactions were with the guys, we could see that the entire team work really well together and are very organised. There is a good rapport between them all. Thank you to everyone. We are so grateful. It’s the best hospitality and kindness we’ve experienced for a long time. Keep being brilliant!

Je note très bien en prenant en circonstance le nombre d'étoiles, la position et les services. Proche de la gare, et centre de Toulon accessible en 10 minutes à pied. Personnel sympatique. Petit-déjeuner de base mais pour le prix demandé, il ne faut pas demandé monts et merveilles! Accessibilité à la douche et WC pas pratique avec cette haute marche! Literie un peu trot dure à notre goût. WIFI inexistant dans les chambres Seul problème rencontré: la femme de chambre qui rentre dans votre chambre, sans s'annoncer!
