Hotel berhampiran Centre commercial L'Heure Tranquille, Tours

There is much to like about this lovely relaxing hotel. The pity was we had only one night here on our route from Marbella to Calais and it was much to our regret that we could not stay here longer. It's right in the centre of Tours, but down a quiet residential street. We hit town right at evening rush hour and traffic was tricky, but Tours is manageable size-wise. it has off-street parking for maybe eight cars, we found a spot, luckily. I'm not sure how they manage other guests. The welcome was friendly and efficient and we loved our room. it was big, spacious, comfortable and spotless. Everything you want to see in Tours is within walking distance too, or most at least and this neighbourhood is residential with lots of small businesses including restaurants. The Loire is 5 minutes away and a strret awash with restaurants is the same diatance. the Cathedral is maybe ten minutes or even less and the main thoroughfare is very near. Tours was bombed badly in the war so many of the streets and buildings in the centre were rebuilt post-war. I like Best Western-branded hotels. You know what you're going to get and they live up to their promise and exceed it on many visits I make. And that's more than fair. This hotel, an old Abbey - you wouldn't know apart from the odd hint - exceeded it.

I had wrote beforehand asking for a view of river as a special occasion. When we arrived Elsa had arranged a lovely room and also a platter of sweet treats and a note. Honestly was so lovely and most appreciated. The room was spacious and a side view of river and the tram outside. We parked across the road and took the glass lift to just outside the entrance of hotel, very easy. Our car only just fitted in though ,being 1.8 m height and quite tight spaces and corners. The hotel is placed in an ideal spot. Lots of shops, restaurants nearby. Even a Starbucks next door. Only issue was room was quite warm, it was a beautiful day and sun was streaming in. Will definitely be returning as loved Tours

Transit stop driving through France to Spain with dog A lovely hotel for a transit stop. Rooms are small but modern with good air conditioning. Lovely walk in shower and very comfortable big double bed possibly king sized not sure but great night sleep. They offer a breakfast croissant hot drink and juice for €3.50 very good value . Dog friendly hotel we have used multiple times would recommend. Close to huge Auchan hyper market for food and fuel .

I cannot find Kyriad’s restaurant name Parvie to review so I will do it here. We just returned our rental car to Enterprise and the guys there recommended we try Parvie for quick snack since we have about 1 hour until our train to Paris arrives. Upon entering, we were greeted by Lucas and Clara. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and modern decor of the dining room. Clara had such a jovial and pleasing attitude. She explained and answered all our questions. And Lucas was so helpful and attentive. We told them if they can make our food fast and they sure did! The food selection was just wonderful. We told . We were very fortunate to have gone to this restaurant and have such a wonderful experience provided by Clara and Lucas. Sorry we couldn’t say good y as we only had 5 minutes until our train departs. Thank you for the wonderfully pleasant dinner. Stay safe!

Je mets 3/5 étant donné que je n'ai pas pu profiter de la prestation. Négociation impossible avec l'hôtel pour décaler la réservation d'une nuit (même en payant un supplément) car j'ai pris l'option tarifaire non modifiable. Désolant dans la mesure où l'hôtel est loin d'être rempli à cette date.

We hebben 3 nachten in dit hotel doorgebracht. Het ligt buiten de stad en is een prima plek om van daaruit wat plekjes te verkennen. Het hotel doet heel nieuw aan. Het ontbijt is prima. Er is een zwembad (buiten) met wat stoelen. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We mochten onze fietsen in de wasruimte parkeren. Er zit een grote parkeerplaats bij met veel oplaadpunten voor elektrische auto's.  De wifi is door het hele hotel fantastisch.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel (80 euros la nuit + 2 petits dej à 9 et 5€ soit 94€)... Et que dire .. Chambre minuscule, pas de salle de bain, juste une porte battante pour les toilettes, collée aux wc : vous aurez une douche, et collé à la douche, vous aurez un lit (petit lit)... le lavabo est dans la chambre .. Bref vraiment pas terrible, beaucoup de bruit.. Chambre mal insonorisée... Hôtel aux abords de l'autoroute, donc beaucoup de passage. Un chien attaché à une voiture aboyait depuis 8h du matin en bas...... Option petit déj : plus de jus de pomme, plus de chocolat au lait.. Ne demandez rien, on vous fera sentir que vous dérangez ! De plus, nous avons eu selon moi un grave problème lors de notre retour dans la soirée, la porte de notre chambre ne s'ouvrait plus.. La réceptionniste s'est donnée du mal et à réussi au bout de 17 minutes à nous ouvrir.. Sachant que j'avais mon petit garçon de 8 ans malade ....... Le lendemain, je rends la clef de la chambre à une dame, qui s'avère être la directrice adjointe de l’hôtel. Je l'informe que nous avons eu un problème... Croyez-vous que nous aurions eu : un sourire ? une excuse ? un mot bienveillant ? absolument pas !! Bien au contraire, comme souligné dans mon mail, j'ai connu plus convivial comme accueil ! La logique aurait voulu qu'on me demande ce qu'il s'est passé .... NON.. J'ai bien senti que je ”soulais”.. Fâchée de cette situation, je me décide à faire un mail à la direction de l’hôtel, dans lequel je relate la situation et mon mécontentement ! La directrice adjointe de l’hôtel me répond : - Que sa collègue du soir s'est déjà suffisamment excusée, - Que j'amplifie la situation - Qu'elle a bien compris que je ne reviendrai pas dans l'établissement, et me souhaite de meilleurs séjours ailleurs (ça, je n'en doute pas), Bravo la fidélité client ! Je ne demandais pas grand chose, une simple remise en question de leur part ... Effectivement, nous ne reviendrons pas. Pour le même prix, vous avez de bien meilleurs hôtels à proximité, avec un accueil chaleureux, où le personnel sera soucieux de votre bien être.

We recently chose the Bar a Tomates for our wedding lunch. While the ambiance of the venue was lovely and the food satisfactory, we encountered some challenges with the service. On a rainy day, our guests were directed to park at the park entrance, which required them to walk a considerable distance in the rain, even though there was an available parking lot closer to the restaurant, which we later found out was reserved for hotel guests. It was disappointing to see restaurant golf carts passing by our drenched guests without offering assistance or umbrellas, even to the bride. Upon our arrival, it seemed the staff-to-guest ratio was off balance, with 3 waiters attending to 30 guests, making it a bit difficult for them to cater to our needs efficiently. There were also some oversights like not offering drinks or assistance in rearranging the tables, and our request for towels for our wet guests was not accommodated. We reached out to the management with our concerns, but unfortunately, did not receive the response we hoped for. If considering this venue for special event, it might be helpful to set clear expectations upfront.
