This might be the most amazing place we’ve ever stayed! The accommodations were beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful (especially Esther!), and there were animals (which our kids loved)! We will definitely tell everyone about this place!

The pictures do not do this place justice, it is even more impressive in person! The castle is beautiful with amazing sitting rooms that have so many old pictures that show the history here. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. You can feel the history as you enjoy an incredible meal. The staff was amazing!

We hated that we only had one night at Ballysede Castle. A beautiful property, we would have loved more time to explore it. The common areas vary from homey to gentrified to amazing. Our room was large, beautiful, and comfortable. We fell in love with the Wolfhounds. I would have taken One with us but I doubt they’d have fit in our rental car. We arrived tired from a long day of travel but found the warm welcome by the staff and the dogs buoyed our spirits. We thought we’d “settle” for dinner in the bar but it was actually quite delicious. We hated to leave and we plan to be back.

It was a dream of ours to stay at a castle on our vacation to Ireland and Ballyseede did not disappoint. Our room was clean and was set up like we were royalty. Our dining experiences were exceptional. Joe and Doreen took care of us both mornings and their customer service was beyond expected. Joe talked to us like we were family and told us what to see around the area. The grounds of the castle are beautiful. We felt like we walked directly into a fairytale. The animals on the property are all friendly and so cute! Overall our experience here was one for the memory books. If we come to Ireland again Ballyseede Castle is a must stay.

I cannot rave about this hotel enough, I didn’t want to leave. It was my first time traveling solo in Ireland, and of all 4 hotels I’ve stayed in throughout my trip, this was hands down the absolute best. The castle was beautiful, rooms first class , and afternoon tea the best I ever had; however, the service was really the highlight. Joe, Doreen and Katie were especially helpful, kind and so accommodating; they really made me feel at home. I will absolutely be coming back to the Ballyseed Castle the next chance I get.

Spectacular! From the moment you drive up to the castle, it exceeds every expectation. The rooms are elegant and spotless. The five course meal in the dining room was amazing. The staff in the bar were wonderful and the cocktails were perfect. Joe in the breakfast room was welcoming, super accommodating and so personable, and of course, the Irish breakfast was delicious. The grounds are just stunning with walking paths to explore and pastures out front with various animals. Ballyseede Castle is a destination in itself!

Visited the castle for a couple of nights and it is as incredibly charming as you would think a castle should be! Room was gorgeous, food amazing and service fantastic. Joe the breakfast host is amazing, ask him about the route he likes for the Dingle Peninsula! Joe the Irish Wolfhound is not as knowledgeable, but just as friendly! Would most definitely come back!

The accommodations are lovely. The food is very good. All of the staff, especially the wait staff, are polite, professional and personable. Joe O'Neill, who is part of the wait staff, was an incredible resource during our first trip to Ireland. His service while working was second to none!!! I cannot wait to go back thank to the lovely folks at Ballyseede Castle.
