Comfort Inn & Suites

I stayed at this hotel last minute due to a death in the family. The staff was very kind, and professional, the hotel was clean and well maintained by the staff. While the property is dated and could use enhancements, I could tell the staff kept up daily to keep things clean, functional and friendly. There was snow most days during the stay, and the staff made sure to keep up with the exterior as well as the lobby. We loved the warm and clean pool/hot tub, and found the complimentary breakfast above average.

Our stay was a little below average. Both comforters on the beds were noticeably stained and needed to be replaced, which the front desk staff took care of immediately and apologized for the issue. On the next day when we returned to the room that evening , the room had been cleaned but housekeeping didn't leave any toilet paper which was almost gone. The breakfast area was clean and the food was above average.

Best hotel rate in the area. The staff r friendly & the breakfast is good. The pool/hot tub were perfect temps and clean. Rooms need updated but still worth the price you’re paying

The property was fine, but rather isolated from everything else. We had an accessible room, but it was far down the hall from the elevator. The layout of the hotel was odd and meandering--the pool was down a hall and in another building from where our room was. However, there was a lovely hot tub and the water in the pool was nice and warm.

It was me, my husband, and our two young kids. We went to see the lights and to cabelas so we stayed here for one night. The hot tub was great! Pool was very warm, refreshing because usually pools are cold. We got up late, but the staff let us eat breakfast at the very end of breakfast time and even offered to make more food. They were awesome! We loved our stay!

We always stay at this hotel because it’s always clean and a good price for what u get. It has a hot tub with a pool, lounge/bar, breakfast, and now a restaurant. The staff is always friendly, and the rooms are always clean!

Upon arrival at the hotel, we proceeded to check in and were directed to our room. However, as soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a strong odor of cigarette smoke, making it difficult to breathe. We immediately went back to the front desk and expressed our concerns. The hotel staff apologized for the inconvenience and promptly moved us to another room. Unfortunately, our experience didn't get any better as the moment we walked into our new room, we were hit with a pungent odor, resembling that of an un-sprayed bathroom. We immediately reported this issue to the hotel staff, hoping for a quick resolution. However, the response we received was quite disheartening. The hotel associate said, "It could have been worse," which did not make us feel any better. We understand that sometimes, housekeeping might forget to spray the room or perform their duties as expected. However, we were taken aback by the lack of options offered to alleviate the situation. It would have been nice if the hotel staff had provided us with some air fresheners or other options to make the room hospitable. We were frustrated and disappointed, as our first room smelled of cigarette smoke, and the second one had an unpleasant odor. The dark blinds don't close fully. On top of that, the pool and hot tub area were not stocked with towels, making it difficult for us to dry off after swimming. Fortunately, after we raised this issue, the hotel staff immediately brought out towels to the pool area.

My room had cracks in the wall & ceiling. It served its purpose though for a night after a day of shopping & seeing the lights at Olgebay. Breakfast was hot & good. The hotel was quiet witch I like cause when I'm trying to sleep I cant stand alot of noise.
