Residence Al Granzo

Where do I begin… Our group of 14 stayed in December 2022. My family of 7 stayed in the “Penthhouse” apartment…which is definitely not a penthouse. It was advertised as a three bedroom apartment with lounge and kitchen area. It definitely was NOT a three bedroom apartment. It is a two bedroom apartment with a sofa bed and single bed in the “kitchen/lounge” area. There is no lounge room as such. The kitchen was ill-equipped with dirty sticky plates (which there were not enough of for a group of seven) and dirty pans that had to be scrubbed clean. Cups with broken handles. The covers on the beds were old blankets with coverlets that had mould stains and cigarette burns on them. The table, when opened up, stunk as someone had thrown up on it. The sink area had old used sponges which we didn’t want to use. The apartment has a pitched timber ceiling and very dark with small windows. The double beds were 2 single beds stuck together which separated. Dirty floors…no brooms supplied. Mouldy showers. The apartment is very old and like you’ve stepped back into 1972…something we wouldn’t worry about at all if it had been at least well kept. Why did we book? It advertised as everthing that we wanted and the pictures were deceiving. Why did we continue to stay? Where else could we go once we got there during a heavily booked Christmas period with no availability? The Seaview apartment where the rest of our group stayed was not much better at all. Coffee percolator that stuck to the cupboard and all of the aforementioned issues we had. Washing machine not working and unable to be fixed and told to use ours…! And it goes on… So disappointing as it really is is a fabulous area within walking distance to everything.

Il residence è in ottima posizione, non lontano dalla bellissima piazza Unità d Italia, con bar e vari ristoranti nei dintorni. MA...ci sono alcune cose da rivedere. La pulizia dei locali è curata, ma sul letto non c è un coprimaterasso e nei dei copriguangiali.Sul divano alcuni cuscini avevano le fodere poco pulite alcune macchiate.In bagno ,il braccio doccia era rotto (impossibile da non vedere?)una lampada dello specchio bruciata Per ultimo ,rotolo carta igienica iniziato, senza averne uno di scorta.In oltre ,un abat'jour ,non funzionante Piccoli particolari che lasciano a desiderare I titolare gentile ed educato,ma dovrebbe controllare di più.

Voto scarso soprattutto in relazione al prezzo. Quasi 60 €/persona/notte per un appartamento con una camera dalle tende strappate ed il letto cigolante, un bagno con lavatrice rugginosa e ganci che si staccano dalle pareti ed altracameretta con caldaia (!) e relativa bacinella raccogli-gocce. È in un'ottima posizione, lo staff è gentile ma tutto troppo trascurato.
