Hotel berhampiran Playa Las Palmas, Tulum

We stayed 4 nights and had a great stay. The rooms and especially the pool look exactly like the pictures and are stunning. Our stay was quiet in terms of other guests as the hotel is not 100% up and running yet (no in-house restaurant and gym but were offered to use the facilities of the neighboring hotel) which we loved as we had the huge pool all to ourselves :-). You should be aware that the area around the hotel (Aldea Zama) is separated from the ”center” by an area that you should not walk through at night - so you have to rely on (expensive) cabs or a car to get around at night - not the responsibility of the hotel, but an issue of many areas in Tulum to be aware of!

I usually don’t leave reviews, but after this wild experience, I had no choice. I was absolutely disgusted by the treatment I received at this hotel. I booked the hotel for a women’s retreat and interacted with 3 different people over the course of my time at the hotel. The first person checked us in and I informed him that Oke of the participants had COVID and wouldn’t be attending and the other person would be staying with me to nanny for my child. He said okay he would let the manager know and they would remove it from the bill. He took a deposit for the 5 rooms ($50 per day). He told us breakfast was served at the sister hotel, Zenses and we should eat there after yoga in the morning. He also informed us that while the website says bikes are complimentary, they don’t offer bikes and the beach is actually an hour away, not 30 minutes! What the hell? The next day, another woman asked for the remaining balance on the room. I asked if that was customary because I am used to paying that upon departure and she said yes, so I paid the balance. The day before our departure, I interacted with a 3rd woman who was very rude, impatient and said she was charged two rooms that weren’t even in my party for breakfast. I told her breakfast was included. I asked for her name. She refused to give it to me so I sent a screenshot of her to the manager and he failed to respond. She called the manger and both of them very rudely said breakfast was not included and told me they would be charging me for the room my nanny didn’t use and for breakfast, even though it was included. I requested a print out of my payment. They couldn’t provide it for a while and finally provided a document that was inaccurate I challenged them and questioned them over and over and they failed to address the issue or provide any type of resolve. I also advocated for bikes and when we took them out, the pedal fell off and we had to rely on the help of strangers to get us back because no one at the hotel was willing to come get us or support the issue. In addition, our rooms were not cleaned daily, despite the multiple requests. I had to come and get tissue, washcloths and empty the trash. Absolutely terrible service! I have been going back and forth with the “owner” for a while and he has ceased responding because there is 0 accountability. There’s also construction across the street constantly and wild dogs running around, it’s just not worth it. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! IT’S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!

The hotel was very stylish and rooms very spacious and well equipped. We had a great stay. The staff were lovely, warm and welcoming. They really went out of their way to help you with booking trips and taxis. Breakfast was good.

Enamorada de este hotel, las habitaciones eran preciosas! Ubicación perfecta en plena calle principal de Tulum con todo al lado. La parada de los colectivos a Playa del Carmen justo al lado también. La playa a 20 min en bici como toda la zona. Muy recomendable para visitar todos los puntos de interés. El chico que nos atendió en recepción fue encantador! Nos ayudó a organizar el último día con un montón de ideas y gracias a él aprovechamos al máximo nuestro último día. El desayuno casero y delicioso. Un 10 en todo. Repetiría sin dudar.

Fue una experiencia única! Thank you so much for a great ceremony followed by a couples massage that was amazing and so relaxing. Martha and Monse took great care of us, they answered all our questions and even took pictures of these amazing memories. Looking forward to coming back to the spa and this wonderful hotel.

Kami mempunyai pengalaman hebat keseluruhan selama 7 hari kami menghabiskan masa di Hotelito Azul! Kami pergi dengan pasangan lain dan masing-masing tinggal di Suite Oceanfront (kami berada di atas mereka, mereka di aras bawah). Bilik-bilik adalah bersih dan luas. Penyimpanan pakaian yang agak terhad tetapi kami membuat yang terbaik dari unit rak/gantung yang disediakan. Mandi adalah mimpi. Perkhidmatan pembantu rumah membersihkan bilik kami setiap hari dan melakukan kerja yang hebat! Kami menyukai hidangan yang ditinggalkan di bantal kami setiap hari. AC adalah milik anda untuk mengawal. Satu cabaran yang kami hadapi yang perlu diperbaiki adalah kekurangan permaidani di dalam bilik. Anda berjalan melalui pasir untuk sampai ke bilik anda dan ya, ada baldi air untuk dibilas sebelum masuk namun kami terdesak untuk mendapatkan permaidani kecil di luar atau hanya sesuatu di tepi atau kaki katil untuk membersihkan pasir sebelum mendapat atas katil. Menariknya, rakan-rakan kami di tingkat bawah mempunyai pelari yang hebat di kaki katil mereka jadi mungkin hanya konsisten dengan itu akan membuat perbezaan yang besar! Anda bangun ke bakul comel dengan kopi setiap pagi dan mereka akan mengisi semula air minuman anda seberapa banyak yang anda perlukan di dalam bilik. Kami tidak boleh mengatakan perkara yang cukup baik tentang kakitangan. Anda berkomunikasi dengan mereka melalui What'sApp yang menawarkan respons pantas kepada sebarang soalan atau kebimbangan atau semasa memesan makanan/minuman. Larissa, concierge itu HEBAT. Dia mengalu-alukan kami setiap hari dan membuatkan kami berasa selesa di rumah dan dijaga sepanjang penginapan kami. Dia membantu mengisi perjalanan dengan pengalaman indah sama ada lawatan, tempat tempatan yang bagus untuk makanan/minuman atau logistik. Kami menyewa skuter dari hotel kebanyakan hari percutian kami dan ia sangat berbaloi. Kami mendapati harga di seberang jalan lebih murah namun kami menyukai kemudahan menyewa melalui hotel. Makanan dan minuman di hotel semuanya lazat, walaupun kami cepat mengetahui bahawa makan dan minum di pantai memang mahal, jadi kami bijak memilih bila/berapa banyak kami makan di hotel. Ini hanya datang dengan lokasi. Lokasi fizikal hotel adalah ideal kerana ia tidak terlalu jauh ke dalam jalur pantai, yang mana trafik menjadi agak teruk apabila anda memandu lebih jauh. Estetika dan butiran hotel ini sesuai untuk membuatkan anda berasa seperti sedang hidup dalam hutan yang aneh. FYI kepada semua yang ingin tinggal di pantai di Tulum, pada bulan April-November atau lebih, Tulum mendapat sejumlah besar rumpai laut yang menjadikannya hampir mustahil untuk berenang di lautan. Hotel-hotel, termasuk Hotelito Azul, melakukan yang terbaik untuk mengeluarkan sebanyak mungkin rumpai laut dari pantai, tetapi kawan, adakah ia satu perjuangan yang sukar. Ini mengehadkan keupayaan kami untuk duduk di pantai malangnya, kerana satu-satunya kelegaan daripada panas adalah pancuran mandian di luar. Yang, sekali lagi, indah, tetapi bukan lautan. Nasib baik, Tulum mempunyai banyak lagi perkara menarik untuk dilakukan sehingga kami tidak merasakan ini memberi kesan kepada perjalanan kami dalam apa-apa cara yang ketara. Mereka yang melancong pada bulan-bulan yang lebih baik mempunyai kawasan tepi pantai yang indah untuk dinantikan di Hotelito Azul. Location: We stayed at una vida for my mums birthday in February. I was a bit apprehensive initially as I knew the hotel wasn’t close to the hotel zone and main touristy areas and was having second thoughts about the location. Once arriving however, I realised I 100% made the right decision. While not close to the hotel zone, the location is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing and quiet holiday ( and not looking to go to the beach every single day!). You can easily walk into town ( 15mins) to get to the shops and restaurants and the beach is a 20 min drive. It is a bit expensive for a taxi (600 pesos/ 30gbp one way) but we were prepared to pay this since we didn’t go to the beach every day and much preferred the location of our hotel. The hotel kindly arranged taxis for us whenever I asked. Food: The food was delicious at the hotel. I did find some dishes slightly salty but this wasn’t a major issue. While breakfast was included with our stay, this only comprised of 3/4 dishes from the entire breakfast menu. This was fine at first but since we were staying for 7 days, it did get a bit boring and repetitive so we began paying for dishes from the rest of the menu. We went to the sister hotel ( less than a min walk) for drinks which were really tasty. Staff: All the staff were super friendly but a massive shout out to Fer who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. He was so friendly and always had a smile on his face. He gave us some great recommendations on places to go and some great tips/advice too. He also arranged an excursion for us and always messaged me on WhatsApp to keep me informed throughout our stay. Fer definitely made our stay here even better! Room: We stayed in a one-bedroom room ( 3 adults). The room had plenty of space for us all - it included a room with a big double bed and balcony and then a kitchen/ living area with a smaller sofa bed. There was another balcony here and a stove, fridge and table. I loved how spacious the rooms were! Pool: There were two pools we could access, one at una Vida and one at bardo the sister hotel. While the pool at bardo was bigger I found the one at una Vida was always much warmer. Towels are provided and there’s plenty of day beds to sit around and relax.

We had a great time! Plenty of activities to do in plenty of things to see oh just a wonderful location. My only complaint is I was in Kassav four and the ice machine was never repaired the week I was there. I have to make that statement because it’s such an inconvenience to go to the other castles or qualifies so it’s all a complaint,
