I liked the location and the staff at this hotel. I disliked the basic rooms, lack of hairdryer, poor amenities and lack of soundproof. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Its central location was convenient for accessing city amenities. Check-in was efficient, and payment with a card was accepted. Staff was amazing, very kind and professional, always smiling and ready to help. However, the rooms are basic, lacking soundproofing. I could hear water flowing through pipes, noise from breakfast preparation, and experienced a persistent humming from the ceiling in room 101, possibly from the air conditioning. After relocating to room 401, the lack of noise improved, though bring your earplugs. There is a space under your door and you can hear your neighbors closing doors, walking, breathing. The breakfast selection was minimal, consisting mainly of bread, butter, one egg, kids juice, coffee and milk. On the last night, the elevator was out of order, causing disruptive noise until morning. The lack of amenities and noise disturbances affected the overall quality of my stay. Despite the convenient location, clean rooms, the value for money was questionable.

Im Hotel Majestic ging früher ein und aus, wer Rang und Namen hatte. Eine Bildergalerie zeugt von den wichtigen Gästen. Heute wirkt es ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen und die Rezeption ist etwas lieblos, aber ich mag die Bar und die Terrasse von der aus man das Treiben auf der Straße beobachten kann. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und man kann gut zu Fuß in die Medina spazieren. Die Zimmer sind hübsch eingerichtet und es gibt auch große Suiten.

I loved staying here. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. The room was lovely and big. Bathroom included a bathtub. There was a nice area to relax in the room between the bedroom and bathroom. Also there was a nice workspace alcove by the bedroom. The staff organized my trips for me and allowed me late checkout. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Hotel dans sa totalité moyen, nécessite une rénovation pour le couloir (tapis, mur, portes) ainsi que les chambres, le bouffé est moyen (surtout le dîner à améliorer) nécessite une rénovation concernant la climatisation centrale (présence d'odeur médiocre après l’ouverture du clim) . j'ai trouvé des insectes dans la salle de bain, parking sans abri pour les voitures, absence d’ascenseur Personnel très serviable et souriant ( réception, restaurant..), chambre propre et literie satisfaisante, son emplacement pour un voyage de travail est très idéal

I booked this hotel for three days using booking service. I felt ok since my booking is in 3stars hotel but the disappointment was in the restaurant which is not matching the pictures in hotel website. I had a diner soon after i checked in. Although the food was good, the lay out, the tables and sitting of the restaurant were very poor and uncomfortable. Room, bathroom are clean and bed also good. Breakfast was ok and rich with very poor coffe making machine. The other good thing in this hotel is the staf, the reception and room service were all friendly and very welcoming. Coming back again? Maybe.

It was a great choice, I was landing at night, so I decided to stay a night at a hotel close by the airport. My sister and her kids checked in earlier and they had a blast. Great service and an amazing diverse and delicious breakfast we enjoyed the next morning together. I have to say, there was only one bit of detail worth mentioning, the frond desk lady helped me call the cab, but she did not mention using Bolt, which is a more expansive taxi service and forgot to mention that she also obviously chose the Comfort option which cost me more at least a 60% extra charge than the normal price. which was displayed on the meter when we arrived but the cab driver asked for more money than that.
Overall, we had a nice short stay and enjoyed a late checkout to chill and recover from my trip.
Thanks to Novotel Team for the delicious food variety.

I booked a deluxe room, but the hotel decided to “upgrade” us to a huge 3-bedrooms apartment with a kitchen. And it was only two of us - me and my husband, so why would we need 3 bedrooms? When I thanked for the upgrade but asked to give us a normal room which I initially booked, they said that they didn’t have a room in that category anymore. It didn’t feel well to be honest. The breakfast was average. The cleanliness of room was bad, I saw a lot of hair in the bathroom and on the floors, disgusting. Location is ok, but depends on what you’re looking for. Otherwise the people are good and trying their best to deliver good service. But I honesty wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

PPengguna TetamuI have never stayed at this Hotel before, many in Tunis Centre. The Hotel was excellent. I read some of the reviews about noise and dogs Barking, I never heard anything, maybe because at the back. Service on arrival was great and the 3 nights stay all reception and security were friendly and polite.
Room 242 was excellent, big, twin beds, only me in room, all amenities in place, was very clean and air-conditioning worked well.
Breakfast was excellent everything there. Staff could have been a little happier only once did I get good morning. Food was great and fresh.
I will definately stay here again, right in Centre, everything nearby.
For the price best hotel I have stayed in Tunis Centre.

Kkorsa86Très joli décor, très préservé Situation pas mal, au pied de la medina et avec un parking assez sécurisé à une centaine de mètres de l'hôtel. Ce lieu s'apparente plus à une pension qu'un hôtel. Le petit dèj est compris et j'ai pu compter sur la gentillesse de la dame qui s'en occupe, pour prendre en compte les problématiques (pas de sucre) et obtenir ma théière (au lieu de la petite tasse :-) Le lit est très grand et très confortable ! Il aurait manqué un peu de linge de bain (pour ne pas mettre de l'eau partout en sortant de la douche). Personnel très gentil et à l'écoute

PPengguna TetamuRooms are very small and very basic, like a jail cell with one very tiny window. Rooms temperature is controlled by the management so they choose if you get air conditioning or not. So when it’s hot outside, your room is very very hot too but when you tell them, they act like it is the first time they are hearing it; don’t be fooled, they know exactly what’s going on. Service in the front desk with the exception of two people is completely non-existent and you have to try very hard to get service and responses. The girl in the front desk with the black hair is usually smoking in the back office and playing on her phone and the restaurant staff have to tell her to come out to serve at the front desk. The other blonde haired girl, her name starts with A, is very mean and rude to most guests Omar and Asma are very nice. Housekeeping is super slow and not organized. Restaurant staff provide no service at all, not even a greeting. If you ask a question, they clearly are not happy to be disturbed from playing on their cellphones. They hide in the corner and gossip all throughout the meal service and play on their phone. It is not walking distance to the Old Town, it’s quite a walk so be very prepared to walk or take a taxi. Use Bolt Taxi and drop the price 3 dinars if you want to negotiate a rate. Airport to hotel from departure area was about 7 dinars but you can get it at about five dinars. Food is horrible at the hotel but they do serve an overpriced breakfast buffet. Outside it is very Sandy and dusty.

PPengguna TetamuI had stayed here a few years back on my regular trips to Tunis. I gave up on them a while ago. The place was old, dirty, living in the 70's. But this time, there was a good offer so I took it up. And I am glad I did, what a change. The rooms have had a complete makeover, light, fresh, plenty of space, modern. The bed is super-comfortable and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. I dined at one of the restaurants and I could easily have been in a very good European restaurant, the service was great and very friendly. I need a good desk space and storage and the rooms have plenty of it. Power points in abundance, including different types for those of us who aren't European. The bathroom was suitable for one person at a time, water pressure wasn't great, in fact, terrible, but that is my only criticism. Over the past 2 years I have struggled with hotels in Tunis, all very sub-standard in the price bracket I want to pay ( c USD 80-120 ), but I have re-discovered Golden TulipEl Mechtel and will now call this home for the foreseeable future, whenever I am in Tunis. Well done folks.

PPengguna TetamuI absolutely loved this place. The location is perfect, in the charming streets of the Medina but out of the hubbub. The place itself is stunning - I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel - and I was warmly looked after by Munir and the rest of the staff from the moment I arrived. Everyone was chilled and interesting, and respected the peaceful atmosphere of the hostel. I'm sure I'll be back, and in the meantime, am glad to recommend this as highly as I can. Thank you Munir and everyone!

HHOSEINThe hotel staff was very nice and kind they assisted in everything. The room is big and all. Comfy bed and good amenities. And the price reasonable and worth. Only slight issue was they were very less staff who could speak English other then all was nice . Pleasant stay .

Le petit déjeuner est compris et le tout à un prix qui reste plus que raisonnable. Idéal pour sa proximité des lieux à visiter, des restaurants et des transports. 🤩🇹🇳🤩🇹🇳

PPengguna TetamuGreat location and very kind staff, let me check in early and left me in peace for the duration of my stay. Hotel is a little dated and amenities are a little basic but it’s cosy and has nice views. Balcony door didn’t open but wasn’t too much of an issue. For the price and location this is a good option.
