I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail at this location, which was comparable to a 3-star hotel. The staff were highly trained and provided excellent service throughout my stay, and the bathrooms were spotless. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a clean stay in the area.

Really loved our stay at Petal of Mewar. Would stay again. Staff (specifically Renchho) were great. The rooms were exactly what we were looking for, and they have a beautiful rooftop view of the city skyline and City Palace. It was in a really good location walking distance to the sites in Udaipur. Renchho was always extremely responsive and helped with recommendations, bookings, requests for the room, and pointed us to the best food we had in Udaipur. Overall, great stay highlighted by Renchho.

Hotel is situated just in heart of city & very close to main bus stop of udaipur which is plus advantage , Hotel is neat and clean except then lilyen and bed sheets which were changed after my request , again that was ok as quality of washing was poor and have some small spots upon bed sheets and bath towels, but staff was helpful, must praise to their chef who prepared chana masala & paneer bhurji, food was really delicious, every thing was perfect from checkin to checkout, especially thanks to Mr Dikshant (F O), who was really helpful and professional, asks many times to us that if needs any assistance or how is going our stay, perhaps thanks to whole team of Hotel

It was wonderful stay!! Everyone was sooo helpful and friendly and also ready reply and help, my stay was so comfortable because of all the staff specifically Mr. Bharat thank you for the wonderful hospitality and also thanks to mr. Ajay ji he was also kind and helpful. I must recommend Gostop for Udaipur best stay for solo and group , you gonna make your self comfortable quickly because of the staff and of course ambience❤️❤️ we are going to visit super soon ❤️

We stayed in this hotel for one night due to its proximity to main attractions of Udaipur. The staff seems courteous, and just a call away in case of any issue. However, how would you like it if they impose you a room whose bathroom stinks of SHI* a few hours after you check in? And the stink just gets more and more intense?? Well, the smell was very mild when we checked in, and they told us that it is possibly due to lack of ventilation. We believed them (our mistake). They used a freshener and the bathroom was bearable. But after a few hours, again the same thing. Again freshener was sprayed. We returned to hotel at night after sightseeing, and the smell was hell unbearable. Forget about our suffering due to smell while using the washroom, we had to keep its door tightly locked so that we can sleep!.. The smell was all there in the room !!! Pathetic experience.. Since it was just about one night, we had to go on with whatever it was. Next morning before checkout, we again asked them for freshener spray, which was done without delay. However, the smell was already so intensive that even the freshener was ineffective. We somehow used to bathroom for basics, by using masks. We Almost Puked While Brushing because of that Smell of Shi*... Oh God!!! If they say that they Do Not Even Know that their room 206 has any issues with Drainage, I will not believe them. They can't be ignorant of the severe drainage problems. Yet, to make their MONEY, they imposed that room to us. Dear Mr Manager, such acts are not appropriate, and are unethical. You could have provided us a room with higher tariff, that was not a problem at all. But you should have ensured our comfort first. Please do not even make the rooms with drainage issues available for anyone, even if they cost low. What you did, is nothing but making a fool of others. It was a very SAD experience for my sister and I.

We spent 2 nights at Taj Fateh Prakash last week and came away bowled by the gorgeous decor, elegant ambience, stunningly beautiful views and exceptional art-work and heritage artefacts in every nook and corner! The entry to the hotel itself is SO charming...with the lake-facing entrance beautifully decorated ...added to which guests are being welcomed everytime you arrive, with a folk-musician playing the traditional Ravanhatha , the melodies of which just captures one's heart! Our room had a common lake-facing balcony and was very spacious, tastefully decorated, with beautiful fixtures and best quality of flooring, furniture and bathroom accessories. The view from the room/balcony was the icing on the cake - we could gaze at the gorgeous lake , see the beautiful houseboats and Lake Palace hotel, mountain tops etc accompanied by a stunning sunset skyline! The start to our stay was with the Heritage Walk conducted by our very knowledgeable and utterly helpful guide, Suresh ...who not only told us delightful facts about the miniature paintings and history behind each painting/artifact, the royal Darbar Hall & other rooms , but also recommended a genuine store selling beautiful miniature paintings etc ; plus assisted us in arranging a good Darshan at Eklingji & Naathdwara. His tour of the City Palace was also fantastic with so many interesting stories he narrated! Our historical/heritage walk was doubly enhanced thanks to such an experienced and warm person like Suresh! All the staff at Taj are very attentive & courteous; especially would recommend our room attendant and the restaurant staff who were always enquiring about our comfort & requirements & attending to them promptly. The food was awesome too with Breakfast which had enormous variety of Indian & Continental items...and dinner too had interesting not-so-typical-Indian dishes which we thoroughly enjoyed! The chef Rajeshji was very affable and voluntarily shared some recipes with me once I praised certain dishes. Another sweet gesture was when Taj kept for us a cake in our room and decorated our room with balloons, when they learnt it was our anniversary. A wonderful thing organised by the hotel is the Sandhya Arati (like the Ganga Arati ) and traditional folk singing & dance in the evening. The traditional dancers and singers were truly awesome; it was a fantastic performance ! I found Udaipur a very romantic city, and also a very clean city with plenty of places to visit, soaked in history & having interesting local food. Our stay was enhanced multifold because of the perfect stay at Taj amidst such gorgeous surroundings and in a place steeped with beauty , royalty and history. Thank you Taj Fatehprakash for making our stay memorable!

Very friendly staff and were kind enough we reached at 8am but the staff and ***ager were kind enough to give early check in with an upgrade from the already booked room, the food service and buffet were also good, rooms are also well maintained and clean

I would say, the location was very good but over all it was an average stay. The plus point of the resort is it's location but at the same time it is a negative point as well. The resort is in the midst of the lake, you have to park the car and go by boat there which takes around 15 - 20 minutes; so once you are in the resort, to go out you have to travel back by boat which is a quite cumbersome, this boat facility is off after 7 pm unless emergency (this was informed to us). There is nothing around outside the resort to wander around. The quality of food was pretty average or even less than average. You must book with all meals into the package because anyway there is no other option around for food. I did not book with all meals so I had to go for ala carte, the staff kept on insisting for the same selection of food which was available in the package or else it will take a long time to cook, so you have a limited options. Buffet, if you have not booked within your booking, it will cost you 1500 to 1800 Rs per person, TOO MUCH for the quality of food offered. A 40 Rs bottle of Pepsi cost us 250 Rs there!! Dishes were not very clean, if you mop with a tissue; there will be black staining on the tissue! Staff is not very professional. The place is in isolation, there is no much activity to do there. If you are in your 60s and 50s, and want isolation, its okay but for a younger generation it may turn our boring. Mobile network is a problem, their wifi was not reaching upto the room, even weak in reception area. Traveling to the Jaisamand, the last 20 - 25 km have a very bad road no matter from anywhere you are coming. Overall, I would say except for the location in the middle of the lake, rest things were average or below average, not worth if you are going during vacation time with the money they cost you during that period.

It is a wonderful resort located between hills with a splendid view of hills 360°. First floor valley view rooms give you best view. Gopal and Kaushal at restaurant serve all you require to satiate your taste buds and their hospitality was unmatchable. Chef Hemedrasingh customizes food as per your requirement and serves mouthwatering Rajasthani delicacies as well as any cuisine you would like to enjoy and served to our perfection. It is a perfect serene and tranquil stay among hills.
