Absolutely gorgeous and amazing location I have ever seen before nice service and staff Little bit complementary breakfast should be changed

This hotel has a perfect location and you pay for it. The actual hotel was OK, but I stayed in far more special and nicer hotels for much less money throughout my time in India. I had to have them change the sheets when I arrived, as they were all dirty. My hot water wasn't working one night and they claimed to fix it but it was still freezing. I was secretly eyeing Udai Kothi across the street and wishing I was staying there. The room itself was big, I had a great view and my bed was comfortable. As a solo female traveler I felt safe here. I took the sunset boat ride and the boat was very old & moldy. The ride was pretty subpar and expensive. The restaurant on the roof was wonderful - I highly recommend going there!

It’s hard to find a better location than this in the city of Udaipur. The hotel is a part of the palace complex and provides stunning views of the Pichola lake and the surrounding hills. The palace complex is closed for regular tourists from 730 in the evening to about 8 in the morning. However as a hotel guest you get a gate pass using which you can walk around the same at night or early in the morning. Pls try to visit around 6 / 630 am and you will be pleasantly surprised to find traditional music being played in the palace as a part of the tradition The hotel is stunning and each corner has been crafted tastefully to provide you with a Royal Indian Experience. The check in happens by around 130 or 2 pm so pls don’t expect the room before that. The staff was very cordial and courteous. The room was beautiful and spacious. The views of the lake palace standing in front was soothing to the eyes. However you can’t open any windows nor is there an outside sitting area. They have made a cute corner by the window where you can sit and have your tea or read a book / hold conversations. Being a Taj property, all modern amenities are provided and one does not need to be worried. The toiletries were from Forrest essential and you really don’t need to carry your own unless you are very specific with regard to skin or hair. They have a beautiful outdoor pool overlooking the lake and also have steam rooms which are totally worth using. A fully functional gym and a spa is also available. The restaurant has beautiful views of the lake but the decor does not compliment the hotel and the overall feel and hence he preferred to only eat our breakfast there The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The bar is a little too boring to have a drink there

Ótimo custo benefício. Atendimento muito cordial e gentil, fomos muito bem recepcionados, funcionários disponíveis para nos ajudar o tempo todo, realmente muito bem treinados. Quarto com ta***ho super bom. Hotel bem bonito e bem cuidado.

The Good The view from the room that of monsoon palace and hill brings serenity and peace Jacuzzi and the view is totally worth it Staff is courteous and polite whether Robin operational manager or Rakesh and Surya(food manager). Try to accommodate and take special efforts Food is good especially vegetarian ;has lots of options Restaurant appears to be upmarket and convenient to fine Fast and efficient house keeping Rooms are big and spacious Ok Non veg food more importantly wasn’t warm enough Swimming pool Cleanliness What can be improved Toiletries can be better -appear to be of 2star hotel Certain missing links -especially the business and executive people Slow WiFi speed ,absence of newspaper -magazines Access Road leading to the hotels should be maintained and cleaned(I know that may not be in the hands of Hotel) This may appear knit picking but Certain aspects of room like 1-2 lights not working,dangling wires, unpolished bathroom fittings (may be due to hard water) as well as the wall colour subject to individual choice

Amazing property with beautiful sunrise view. My child found a friend in Mr. Aryan who was so lovable and even played chess with him. He also did the in-house adventure sports with Mr. Sukhdev which was a 1st time experience for him. The food was also amazing, the thali at Javitri was once in a lifetime experience and with the hospitality given by Mr. Surendra and Prakarti in restaurant, we couldn't have asked for more. Thegolf cart rides with Mr. Indrajeet was always amusing. Though little away from city, Definitely recommended for its beauty comfort and hospitality.
