The experience here is great, the hotel owner is an extremely pleasant and obliging man who is kind and helpful. The facilities are new and the breakfast is fabulous!

I visit Cappadocia (solo) in June to celebrate my birthday. My hotel stay was amazingly amazing. The interiors of the hotel is so phenomenal and the breakfast gave me a feeling of a proper traditional home cooked Turkish breakfast. My friend called the hotel and informed them that it’s my birthday and requested to arrange a cake. The staff did the needful and made sure that I have a good birthday celebration. They assisted me with my all my needs and directions to nearby places during my stay. Overall my stay was satisfactory!

I just booked the hotel looking at the website & was little spectacle about how would it be especially not being a brand BUT trust me you have see it to believe it It’s one of the most spectacular places I’ve been to It’s a boutique hotel so you don’t see the hustle bustle of soooo many people around Very courteous staff & always ready to fulfill all your needs. I would especially like to thank Fatama (restaurant manager) who was there to provide what ever we asked for as being a VEG Indian choices in breakfast gets limited but she went all out to make our stay an Experience & there BREAKFAST…………it satisfies your 3 senses like it tastes amazing, visual treat & smell of freshness

The hotel property is very nice and the staff was exceptional. Except the air in the room was very stale and hot, and we were put right next to the road so it was very noisy and hard to sleep, the roof of the room is made from wood so along with car noise and a bus of people being very loud at 6am then around 7:30 the people upstairs walked on top of our heads for an hour and cars almost shake the room. Also the pool is too cold in May to swim…all in all it is a nice hotel with very polite staff but I recommend asking for a quiet room away from the road and a fan for a decent sleep. Breakfast was very good.

The staff’s genuine passion for hospitality and their expert knowledge of the area further enhanced my experience. Their recommendations for local dining spots and lesser-known trails added an extra layer of discovery to my Cappadocia adventure. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for anyone seeking an unforgettable stay in Cappadocia. Whether you’re a nature lover, a history enthusiast, or simply yearning for a peaceful escape, this hidden treasure will exceed your expectations. Seki Cave Cavusin was amazing hotel. Their room so clean, comfortable, and cozy. We feels sleep in cave but in modern way. They have very nice, complete, and delicious breakfast. Their staf very helpfull and friendly. You can ask everythings about cappadocia with them. Their have best view to look hot air balloon in the morning (it so beautiful) and in their back view they have cave stone home. You can grt two view in one hotel. We are very statisfied can stay at Seki Cave Cavusin and very recomen this hotel. Thank you Seki Cave Cauvusin for your best service.

The hotel was not built on the cave, its “cave looking” hotel. The atmosphere was rustic and charming, the view from the terrace was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the internet was fast. The breakfast was amazing, freshly made for us each day and their cats were super cute! In terms of our room: the bed was big and comfy; the room was warm with a good heating system. It was charmingly designed with a cave-hole-sofa area and a shower area that looked like they had been carved out of the wall. But it wasn’t always practical - for instance it is an open-plan design so the toilet is part of the main living area with no door to separate it. One of us had to go out the room when we needed a toilet. Luckily there was a communal toilet in the communal area but it was cold! Downsides: 1. The village of Ortahisar is quite remote and a little limited for restaurants 2. Like many buildings in the area the hotel have a fire and chimney. Although the chimney was high and in the courtyard area, some of the smoke smelled toxic and we didn’t feel comfortable. 3. The drain in the shower seemed to be blocked and took ages to empty, the shower water wasn’t always super hot, one of the shower fixings was broken. It was a lovely hotel but the open plan bathroom made my stay difficult.

The room was very comfortable and warm, but also had the unique cave hotel experience that most visitors to Cappadocia are expecting. The staff is knowledgable about Cappadocia and can give good advice about what to see and do in the area. The breakfast is definitely a highlight, with a big variety of freshly prepared hot and cold food. The gozleme in particular was delicious. The hotel is within five minutes walk of the center of Urgup and there is ample and safe parking in front of the door. All in all we would be very happy to stay here again the next time we visit Cappadocia.
