Hotel 2 Bintang di Utrecht

Eher dreieinhalb Punkte - aber das geht ja leider bei TA nicht. Am Rande der Innenstadt in einer ruhigeren Seitenstrasse gelegen, ist dieses kleine Hotel eine gute Basis für die Erkundung der Stadt. Das Hotel besteht aus mehreren nebeneinander liegenden Häusern, wir waren im ersten und zweiten Stock untergebracht. Die Zimmer waren ausreichend groß, sauber, luftig und hell. Teilweise gibt es sogar einen winzigen Balkon, nach hinten raus eine nettere Aussicht. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig und schon leicht abgewohnt, aber nicht schäbig. Die Betten sind eher schmal und weich, die beiden Doppelbetthälften bewegen sich bei unruhigem Schlaf voneinander weg - Achtung vor dem Spalt. Das Badezimmer ist eher klein, aber ausreichend groß und sauber. Die Duschtüren hingen bei uns ein wenig uns waren eher schwergängig. Für zwei Personen und einen längeren Aufenthalt könnte der Platz im Schrank ein wenig knapp werden. Frühstück gibt es im Hauptgebäude in dem sich auch die Rezeption befindet. Für 9 Euro okay, aber auch nicht überwältigend - bspw. gibt es nur eine Sorte Marmelade. Positiv - man kann sich auch direkt beim Hotel ein Fahrrad leihen. Parksituation ist schwierig und im Zweifelsfall teuer. Oder man parkt am Sciencezentrum und nimmt den Pendelbus.

Honestly, a 10/10 experience! We were met by a very open and friendly host who fixed everything for us, despite us checking in in the middle of the night. We immediately received all our necessities and were told that we can just come to the reception if we needed any more help or items. The rooms itself were spotless and big (which is very rare when checking in with a family of 5!). The room we stayed in had a private bathroom which included a shower and a toilet, which both were clean of course. The hotel is in the heart of Utrecht, close to everything. It takes no time to travel from the hotel to the city Centre and other lively parts of the city. Long story short, my family and I had a great experience from the first till the last second, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others, and book our next stay in Utrecht here!

I booked a private room in April; it had basic amenities and was sufficient. The weather was chilly, but the heating was easy to use and effective. The hostel was easy to find and just a 5-6 minute walk, thanks to the shortcut through the shopping mall outside Utrecht Centraal, which they informed me about via email after my booking. The common areas are peaceful and comfortable, perfect for reading, studying, or chatting with friends. I especially loved their breakfast—it was rich and reasonably priced at the same time. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. The staff is young and dynamic, and every team member, from the housekeepers to the bar and reception staff, did a great job. The location is unbeatable—central and very walkable. The neighbourhood was lively, but I didn't have any noise issues, either inside or outside the hostel. The team and management care about sustainability and green practices, which was a big plus.

The hotel is stunning! The first moment when I walked in I thought I was going to a beautiful restaurant. There's a smart locker for my luggage as I arrive very early in the morning. Self-check-in is super easy, the staffs are super friendly. The pod room is super clean and quiet, the bed is MASSIVE and comfortable, love the smart control colour change light inside the pod. The storage area under the pod is very convenient and secure ( use the room key to open it). There are plenty of shower rooms and toilets so you don't need to line up for it. The water temperature and press are perfect, and towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hairdryer are all available to use. I am super happy with the stay, sadly I didn't have the chance to try their food, but I am more than happy to come back to stay again and try the food and drink. BTW, it's only a couple minutes' walk from the Utrecht train station, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops surrounded.

The first time I stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago was perfect, but the most recent time there was a problem with sewage which caused a bad smell in the hotel. A complaint was raised. The hotel should have done more to comfort guests during this situation. I hope this never happens again.

Nice, clean hotel in a great location for the train/tram and football stadium. Check in was quick and got a nice g&t welcome drink. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. The room was nice, but the view wasn’t the best. No kettle facilities in the room which is a must for me! However, they serve hot and cold drinks downstairs. The outdoor area on the canal was lovely in the sun! Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room itself was a superior room and first impressions are good - a great size room and very clean. However the bathrooms are tiny and very hard to move around it especially with the lack of space to get into the bath / shower combo. My room was situated on the main room which was very noisy with tram and business making you feel like the windows are shaking. Also in other NH hotels you have a free bottle of water on arrival however here that was not the case and a bottle was €3.70 in the reception shop which was very expensive.

Very friendly staff. Nice modern hotel outside the center. Parking ( payable ) at the hotel. The room is nice. There is a breakfast buffet which is basic but ok. They started to offer dinner as well. Not too much choice but good thing that you can eat there now

Utrecht is not cheap especially hotels near the centraal and old town,but Ibis which is locateda few minutes from centraal offer nice room and good price. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, take bus number 5 from platform D. The hotel is just two stops from Centraal. As this hotel located beside a big road,then some rooms will experience traffic noise,but the noise insulation is quite good except we open the window for some fresh air. The lobby is nice, not too many sitting area, beside the lobby is a huge breakfast room. Surrounding hotel no restaurants or minimarket,so be prepared if you want to return hotel. The breakfast was very good and nice. Enjoy the hot meals and good coffee. Absolutely will return to stay at Ibis Utrecht, location and price make it all.
