To start with the only good thing about this vacation was the property is nice and in a good location. The resort is totally understaffed and they really struggle to provide service to the guests. The maintenance is pathetic. People who do house keeping have no clue as to what house keeping means. Every day I had to complain about lack of one thing or the other. The extra bed that was provided was horrible and very uncomfortable and hard. Finally the food part - very very poor breakfast buffet. Lunch and dinner buffet also very poor. Very few dishes and service is pathetic. It takes hours to provide you food. Very poor hygiene not enough people to serve and tables are left uncleaned after guests complete their meals. Originally planned for a 5 day stay here but had to cut short as 2 of our family members fell sick and had to be taken to hospital. We could see some more guests also falling sick. The swimming pool was poorly maintained and people were getting into the pool with their regular clothes on. The equipment in the play room were broken and the place was also used as a store room and it was untidy.

I stayed at this hotel for a night on my way to the Jog Falls. I had come to Kumta from Delhi by Mangla Express. I took a non-AC room on the first floor. It was decently furnished and the bathroom had good fittings. The Hotel's restaurant only serves vegetarian food. A small shack next door provides non-veg options and liquor is available from a wine shop next to the hotel. Overall, a good experience.

Very clean and all the basic needs fulfilled at viraz valley. The service is prompt. View is also good. Food is good too. They would arrange two wheelers for rent also. They helped us plan the sightseeing places. Overall a great stay with affordable prices

We just got done with our short but pleasant stay at The Godavari. The rooms are clean, cosy, comfortable and complete with good and beautiful fittings. The hotel is very new and it clearly shows. The inhouse restaurant also is excellent and we loved all the meals we had there, including the refreshing watermelon juice which was also their welcome drink.The hotel has a swimming pool as well as a spa Centre, which we didt utilise but we did see many people enjoying in the pool. The location of the hotel is quite good, being just around a km from Kudle Beach and the Mahabaleshwar temple. Would definitely recommend staying at The Godavari to everyone who travels to Gokarna!

It's good hotel neat and clesn. It should improve service for tv. When entered was not working. It was said it will start with in half an hour. No stup box in the room. After following up in evening they started it. Beds are new. Toilet is neat and clean. Temple is about 1 km away. Temple serves food both time. Gojarnbeach is adjoining to temple other beaches are far away. One had to trek to reach beaches. Mostly foreigners are visiting this beaches. Bus stand is 5 minutes walk.

The stay at the cottage was okayish. The rooms could have been cleaner. We had to call the reception and ask for basic facilities like Toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. These should be kept in the room without even asking. However, the staff was co-operative and helped us in navigating places when asked for.

We booked a standard room for 1N here and went without any expectations. Surprisingly we were very happy with our choice. Managed very well by JLR. The staff here at very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very basic yet they have all the faculty you need while on a holiday. Location of the resort on the banks of the river Kali is amazing! Food provided in the resort is very good. All the 3 meals we had were delicious and served piping hot. River rafting organised by JLR is very safe and they do not organise rafting trips without a minimum number of 5 people. The property is very calm and surrounded by greenery. Design of the room interiors is not appealing. Understandable that this property is around 25yrs old. No complaints since we had a very good stay.

Located conveniently for food, marketing etc. The room i we were allotted is up to the mark but for the window directly opening up to the opposite wall with a little space which is also untidy makes one keep shut all the time and you feel confined since its our leisure trip( i requested to assain room with open view but to know except this all rooms were booked? but for this care, service, tidiness every thing is excellent.

We stayed for 2 nights at this resort. The view of kudle beach from the room was beautiful. The room was spacious with kitchen area and basic amenities. It also included snacks and beverages restocked both the days. The food spread on breakfast was good and we also ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant. There is also a pathway of 15 mins directly to the beach. The resort has a pool too. The road to the resort is a bit bumpy and rocky for around 1km but sufficient parking area available at the resort. Would visit again and recommend others too!

We stayed in Shreeyog Resorts Dandeli on 22nd Dec for two nights in Standard AC Room number B-06, which was in the basement. The size of the room was quite big and spacious. Both room and bathroom were clean. We had opted for All Meals package which included 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The food served in the restaurant including buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner were of good quality and taste ***** with sufficient choice. All the staff including housekeeping, restaurant and Mr. Avinash at front desk were very helpful, friendly and providing very prompt service. During our first night stay, there was a group of 20-25 people who had gathered in the lawn area enjoying bonfire at night. It started after 10pm and went on until 1am when I had to go out of my room and asked them to stop it immediately, which they agreed. It is unfortunate that people do not have common civic sense. The next day I informed about this incident to Mr. Avinash and requested him not to allow such gathering after 10pm-11pm. To which he said that they can't enforce such rules. :-( If you plan to stay in this resort, then please be aware that such thing might happen with you and you can tolerate outside noise at night.

Other places are easily accessible.This is best place to stay for a tourist family new to Gokarna.Rooms are good ,the hotel cleanliness is excellent,price quite affordable and breakfast are good .The staff are polite and willing to help . Foreign tourist can communicate in English with staff.Rooms have all essential facilities.

PPengguna TetamuI recently had an excellent stay at this hotel, which is located within the temple premises. This made our visit incredibly convenient and spiritually fulfilling. The family rooms were spacious and well-appointed, ensuring comfort for everyone. One of the highlights was the arabian sea view from the window; it was breathtaking. From one side of our room, we had a serene temple view, and from the other side, we could gaze out over the vast sea. The amenities provided were top-notch, enhancing our overall experience. Altogether, it was a great place to stay, close to god, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
