I was lodged at Landhaus am Giessen for two consecutive nights in October 2021 as part of a larger trip to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The relatively high ranking of the hotel on TripAdvisor and the location of the hotel in Vaduz were the main reasons for me selecting this lodging. Making a reservation was a simple and straightforward process. Using the hotel's official website, I selected my preferred room type (Doppelzimmer Queen-Size with Breakfast) and dates of stay. After entering the details of my credit card to secure my reservation, I was immediately e-mailed a reservation voucher, which I eventually printed and brought with me when I departed for Vaduz. When I arrived at Sargans by train from Zurich, a transfer by bus from Sargans to Vaduz Spital bus stop was free and took about 40 minutes, with an additional walk from the bus stop to the hotel taking about 5 minutes. At the hotel, the check-in was a process that I had never before encountered in all of my past travels. Instead of a live receptionist, a computer on the reservation desk encouraged me to follow on-screen prompts in order to check in. After a few minutes of confirming my reservation, providing some personal information, and paying the full amount of my planned stay, I received my room key card. The bedroom of my room (#150) featured a twin-size bed with one large pillow and sheets and comforter of excellent quality. A nightstand with lamp, a writing desk with chair and lamp, a padded stool, an armoire with security safe, and a flat screen television with satellite were also present. In-suite amenities included air conditioning and strong wi-fi. An outdoor balcony, just off the bedroom, featured a view of neighboring buildings in the foreground and Schloss Vaduz in the distance. The bathroom featured a full-size shower with a hand wand shower head, ample hot water, and large and clean towels and washcloths. Amenities in the bathroom included a small selection of toiletries. European (round-prong) power outlets were located in the bathroom and bedroom. In the mornings, breakfast (included in my rate) was buffet-style and consisted of hard-boiled eggs, various sliced meats and cheeses, various flavors of yogurt, dried fruit, breads and spreads, dry cereals, juice, tea, and coffee. The breakfast was filling and the service was excellent each morning during my stay. As mentioned in the first paragraph of this review, the location of the hotel in Vaduz was one of the main reasons for me choosing Landhaus am Giessen for my time in the city. All of the major tourist attractions, as well numerous restaurants, were very easy walks from the hotel. For two consecutive nights at Landhaus am Giessen, I paid a total of 227 Swiss francs. Upon completion of my stay, the walk back to the Vaduz Spital bus stop from the hotel took just a few minutes, with a subsequent journey by bus from the bus stop to Sargans being free, and the train from Sargans to Zurich costing 33 Swiss f
