Terokai Ulasan Tetamu Hotel di Valladolid

Hotel Sutuk
4.8/548 Ulasan
This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations, it’s like been on jungle. The rooms are very spacious and with all amenities you may need, the outside area has a small pool with sunbeds and a lovely sitting area and an in site cenote. The service is very professional with lovely staff and the restaurant has a very decent menu. Everything we tried was very good. There is also parking provided. We enjoyed our stay very much and is a diamond for the area!

I can only say positive things about this wonderful boutique hotel. It’s very unassuming from the outside, but as soon as you enter the lobby, you can tell that they have dedicated a lot of time and effort into making something special. The decor, the tiles, the color choices, the openness and airiness of the spaces were all warm and welcoming. The staff was very friendly. My room was large with 10 foot ceilings, the Wi-Fi was fast and the bed very comfortable. My shower was large and included an open space with live plants and a ceiling open to the outside (screened) so that when we had a rainstorm – and boy, did we have a thunderstorm! – the rain came down directly into the shower area. There is a lovely small pool, as well as little sitting areas and other decorative touches lining the hallways and stairwells, including one area with a hammock that I lay in during the thunderstorm. I only stayed for one night, but I sure wish I could’ve stayed longer.

My partner and I stayed at this small, modern, friendly hotel in beautiful Valladolid. Everywhere in the hotel is clean and well-maintained and has a professional air to it. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool after busy days walking around the city, visiting cenotes, taking the bus to Cinchen Itza. You are located near the main square, and there are several bars and restaurants in the city. We particularly enjoyed an evening stroll/drink to a bar overlooking the cathedral which was lit up at night.

Overall, a good stay at the hotel. Hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful. It had a pretty, fancy vibe. Staff/ service was good as expected from its 5-star rating and price point. I stayed in the junior suite that overlooked the carpark. Room was spacious and had a rustic but tiny balcony. They provided 2 complimentary bottles of water daily and replenished the mini bar daily too. My only feedback is to have bigger blackout curtains that covered the whole window properly please. Hotel is in a good location, just across the park (that sells the yummy marquesitas) and the Cathedral. There were many shops around so no problems getting things you need. t's also about a leisurely 20 minute walk to Calzada de los Frailes and the Convento de San Bernardino de Siena (where there's the light show at night). The first level restaurant/ courtyard was lovely place to dine in. However, as it was also opened to public, the service gets slower and not so attentive when it got crowded. While there was a good variety of breakfast set items, hotel guests were only limited to one set each of bread, drink and main course. Wished that they would include yoghurt and fruits were included as part of the set (I mean how much does a small cup of yoghurt and a few slices of cut fruits cost? Relative to the price of the entire stay at the hotel! )
Casa San Roque Valladolid

Hotel San Roque We left Hotel San Roque after one night, although we were booked for 5 nights. Our experience at Hotel San Roque was absolutely AWEFUL! Upon arrival, we were initially impressed with the property grounds. The concierge was very nice and helpful. However, those are the only positives I can express about San Roque. The room we were given first did not have running water. The air conditioning was poor and the ceiling fan was extremely noisy. Obviously the more pressing issue was a lack of running water for showers, toilet flushing and hand washing. 30 mins after informing staff of the water issues, they told us we could “use the shower in another room”. We requested to change rooms altogether and we’re met with apprehension. They reluctantly allowed us to switch rooms but stated it would be an additional charge. The room was a couple square feet larger, no additional amenities. Unless, of course, you consider running water an amenity. That night, we listened to the pounding music from a nearby club until 3:00am. It was so loud it rattled the windows. The next morning, we informed them we would be checking out due to the lack of running water in the first room and the extreme noise all night. They denied our request for a refund. About 10 minutes later, the concierge knocked on our door to offer an “upgrade to the suite.” By that time we had already had a horrible experience and were told we would not be compensated for the inconvenience but would, in fact, have to pay more to have a room with running water and efficient appliances. It was too little, too late. Now, let’s talk about the room. The bed did not come with a blanket, only a sheet. There was a laminated paper with strange rules, including no eating in your room. The toilet did not flush well due to lack of water pressure. We’ve stayed in many places throughout Mexico - Jalisco, Nayarit, Quintana Roo, Yucatán, Guerrero - and this is the worst experience we’ve had in México. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. And always use a credit card for additional recourse, as Hotel San Roque will attempt to keep your money.
Hotel Los Frailes, Valladolid, Yucatán

Our stay in Hotel Los Frailas was perfect. We travel as familly with small childe 4 year old, and the place was perfect for us as adults and for our doughtier too. She enjoyed the pool, and as we stayed on basement infront of garden and pool it was easy for us to handled her running around. Breakfast was nice, service and people perfect (they speak english and they want to help what ever you need). Hotel is new, big rooms, great beds, nice garden and pool, and silence in the garden. It is not in the Valladolid center, few minutes ride, but we had car and for us it was perfect, much more peace than in the city. Good ratio between price and service. If we come to Valladolid, we definitely will come back!
