As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience at this hotel. We were left to suffer in 80+ degree heat in our room with no air conditioning. The front desk clerk tried to accommodate by moving us to another room but after checking multiple rooms across multiple floors, none had a functioning HVAC system. He noted other guests were also complaining of the same issue. Management, however, refused to provide alternative accommodations considering they could not fix the HVAC system. We ultimately had to sleep with cold wet towels on our bodies to make it through the night. Totally unacceptable to lack functioning air conditioning in the middle of summer. After my stay, I discovered this has been a recurrent issue at this hotel and management has repeatedly failed to remediate it. You can read the compendium of Google reviews below mine and you will curiously find that management will not respond to those which raise the air conditioning issue. Unsurprisingly, management never responded to multiple emails I sent seeking to have my stay compensated which compelled me to reach out to Hilton Worldwide directly. Once I contacted Hilton’s corporate office and explained my experience at this hotel, Hilton, thankfully, DID compensate me. Hilton Worldwide also indicated they will be investigating the issue directly and will be sending inspectors to evaluate compliance with brand standards. Repeated violations of HGI brand standards in the form of no HVAC in multiple guest rooms is a brazen gamble on the part of the proprietors. Hopefully they will reconsider their practices as it relates to facility management. But until they do, I advise that you stay far away from the Hilton Garden Inn Zurich Limmattal.

Masterfully managed by the highly experienced Swiss GM Marco Saxer who has an international career experience, this Provencal-coloured hotel is quiet and noise-free even outside, and offers rooms that are pleasant to live in, with enough space to make you feel at home. The bedding is comfortable and impeccable. Coffee machine and soft drinks (beer, sodas, etc.) in the fridge are provided free of charge the first time. The bathrooms are a little dated but perfectly maintained, only their ceilings need to be renovated/refreshed. The restaurant offers an interesting and varied menu, and its outdoor area is very pleasant. The dishes are beautifully presented and the freshness of the produce is much appreciated. One small downside: the terrace under the three-hundred-year-old lime tree, the hotel's mascot, is no longer accessible. This needs to be corrected, as the shady location is ideal for lunch and evenings in summer. Situated 30 minutes in car from Zurich Airport and on the outskirts of Baden's historic old town on the banks of the River Limmat, within walking distance of the hotel, this establishment is well worth a visit.

Comfortable, beautiful, nice people and service. I liked it very much and had a very nice time here with my friend. The room was designed good and it was big enough for both of us. It was easy going in and out. I would give five stars for the bed and five stars for the breakfast!

Alla ricezione abbiamo trovato Ala, professionale ma soprattutto molto simpatica e disponibile. Grazie e complimenti. Consiglio vivamente!!

Visiting the area, I chose this hotel for its convenient access by public transport - bus every 15min to downtown Baden - and reasonable price - cheaper than in the city centre. My overnight stay was excellent. A big thumbs-up for the whole staff: whether at reception or during breakfast, each team member was smiling and helpful. The room reflected the usual Ibis standards. Bed and mattress of good quality - I slept perfectly well. Congrats for the soundproofing which is truly excellent: despite the busy road passing by and the motorway just at the back of the hotel, I did not hear any noise at all. Compared to other Ibis hotels, this property is offering air-conditioning in all rooms - much appreciated during the hot days. As usual in Switzerland, room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Thumbs-up for the breakfast offer with a generous and tasty buffet: Various breads and Danish pastries from local bakeries, Swiss cheese, cold cuts, yoghurt and birchermuesli, fresh fruit salad, various preserves. Even scrambled eggs are available. All in all, an excellent and tasty experience, better than in other Ibis properties. This is an excellent address for a stay in Baden, with outstanding value for money. I will gladly come back.

Position very far from town, difficult to found. New building not finished , no concierge present an evening and night, only at the phone. Room wide and pretty, but with problem at heating.

Wij waren voor een weekje met ons gezin in dit hotel om naar verschillende steden een uitstapje te maken. Het is een heel schoon en rustig hotel. In het hotel waren geen muggen te vinden (voor ons belangrijk ivm met allergie). Daarnaast is de familiekamer heel erg handig voor een gezin. Voor een extra bijdrage kun je lekker ontbijten, dat hebben wij dan ook gedaan. Ook onze auto konden we parkeren (extra bijdrage). Het personeel was erg vriendelijk, vooral mevrouw Alla heeft ons erg goed geholpen. Al met al een heel comfortabel verblijf voor ons.

We were on the 12th floor of this strange tower block hotel with a great view of Baden, but there was no air conditioning and the fan was all floppy so we had to hold it up with a prop. The room was not super clean. There was a kettle but only one cup and one tea bag for two people. When I went to reception for more tea bags the guy on reception was trying to serve a whole bunch of people in the restaurant and forgot about me. Resources are spread too thin. Back to the room: most of the UK channels on the list of available channels to watch did not work. Breakfast was not great. Processed ham and cheese portions on separate plates wrapped with cling film. No one present to serve coffee - had to go and find someone in the restaurant on the floor below. There was no cooked breakfast. My husband asked for scrambled egg and the answer was « No because of Covid ». We could not see the connection between Covid and scrambled egg. Staff were friendly, however.

Very kind and thoughtful Reception associates! They took extra steps to ensure you were satisfied and had everything that you needed. While there are actually 3 buildings to choose from, I am Team Historic buildings, and chose to stay on the Limmat River in a newly designed Limmat Suite (in the yellow building, next door to the original pink building.) Good amenities and working A/C. This was a short stopover. I would have liked to have spent an additional day to explore the town and use the spa facilities. A summery evening, with people walking on the promenade on both sides of the river. Pepe Nero's Ristorante, offers a wonderful variety of homemade pastas and fresh salads on an outdoor terrace. A wonderful stay in a unique and historic hotel. Every bedroom is different and you enter through sound proof doors on the indoor balcony. Spotlessly clean and cool rooms. Bird song fills the atrium. We did not eat in the restaurant but had a substantial breakfast. No indoor bar, but drinks outside the front door.Car parking is around the corner 5-7 mins in a public car park. At the time we were there, the building next door was being renovated, so building noise is inevitable. A quirky but very enjoyable experience.

auberge bien placée, propre bon accueil, propre mais chambre sans charme sans tele et bruyante salle de bain commune, tres propre prix correcte. parking facil d acces et l hotel se trouve a 10 minutes a pieds du centre au ville
