Terokai Ulasan Tetamu Hotel di Valletta

The Gomerino Hotel
4.5/5103 Ulasan
I stayed 3 nights at the Gomerino. The hotel staff is absolutely fabulous. They help you in all you need instantly. The staff is 5 star, very kind professionals. The view from the roof top terrace is exceptional, the best view in Valletta. The terrace is incredible. Unfortunately the room is not reaching my expectations. It’s just very noisy. Every single foot step from above can be heard in your room. So at night and in the morning I felt very disturbed and uncomfortable because of this. I had to call reception several times to ask the above guest to keep it quiet at night. The room is very dark and just not for my taste. The bed was ok I asked a double bed but they supplied my with 2 single mattresses put together. Thank you for the staff you were fabulous.
The Embassy Valletta Hotel

Super vriendelijk personeel!
Palazzo Consiglia - IK Collection

A little gem in the heart of Valletta, perfectly positioned for sightseeing and relaxing. Tony and his team cannot do enough for you. Smiles from all the team whatever their role. Beds are extremely comfortable and water replenished every day and an early evening knock asking if anything is needed. Staff are knowledgeable about the local area, events and restaurants. They are happy to make bookings on your behalf. Drinks on arrival and an escorted tour of the hotel. The underground spa which is booked for your private use is wonderful as is the rooftop pool and relaxing area. A wonderful 4 night stay. Will definitely recommend 😊
The Phoenicia Malta
4.6/5100 Ulasan
The Phoenicia tries very hard. And the truth is they mostly succeed. But when you bill yourself as the best hotel in Malta (or one of them, at least) it's the details that are what entitle you to claim you're more than just ”very good” but really are ”the best.” And the Phoenicia sometimes overlooks the small details that characterize a true 5-star property. The Hits The staff: They do everything in their power to make one's stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Their attitude is genuine and sincere. And they bend over backwards to accommodate, no matter the situation or the request. The location: Simply the best on the entire island, just outside the gate to Valletta, near the bus terminal, the main square and fountain, pedestrian friendly, you can walk everywhere. The grounds: Beautifully landscaped gardens that are a joy to amble through, magnificent pool, lovely terrace, stunning views over the marina. The common areas: Lobby, restaurant, bars...all are tastefully appointed and comfortable. The Misses The food: The meals we had were all very mediocre, nothing special. We were expecting a 5-star dining experience and were very disappointed. Breakfast is a bit of a madhouse. The menus (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are limited and what's offered is fairly pedestrian. The restaurant servers seemed harried (breakfast) and not very polished (dinner.) The room: Cramped, tiny, and in need of renovation. I booked through Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts, was not upgraded even though hotel was not full. I asked...no upgrade. The Club Bar: Although open it wasn't staffed...at all. Had to physically go find someone (in the adjoining restaurant) to come and make us drinks, then carried them ourselves to our table...and bussed our dirty glasses ourselves when finished. Unacceptable in the extreme. It's these serious missteps that keep the Phoenicia more of a 3 to 4 star property...although they try really hard. I would give it another chance if I were to return.
Osborne Hotel

BEWARE of this hotel. I am currently having the worst hotel stay of my life and would leave early if I could. This morning I noticed that my bag full of medications, contact lenses, inhaler, etc. is missing. I leave it in the same exact spot at every hotel I stay at so I always know where it is when I need to get into it. I flag down the employee who was in the room last. She says she remembers the bag but did not take it or throw it away. Ok, then where is it?!? Three employees searched the small room and it is nowhere to be found. I ask if they have cameras, which they say they do have. A manager advised only the room attendant has access to the room. Ok, then she probably accidentally threw it away, thinking it was trash and she doesn't want to admit it happened. I understand an accident. The manager says the room attendant did nothing with the bag and insists I did something with it. Now, why would I report a missing bag, just because? And waste vacation time? I don't think so. I'm absolutely stunned and appalled that the manager accused me of misplacing it after three people looked for it. They will not reimburse me for the missing items, either because there is ”no proof.”. I am disgusted with this hotel. If you want to be accused of misplacing your own things when they were taken, then this is the place for you. And by the way, there is no rooftop seating. The picture with all the tables, chairs, and rooftop bar? Yeah, none of that exists. And if your room doesn't come with breakfast and you want to eat there, they make you pay for your entire stay up front, even if you don't make it to breakfast on some days. The food is terrible, so don't fall for the sales pitch. There are other, amazing places you can grab breakfast.
Rosselli AX Privilege

Firstly this hotel has a perfect location, very well appointed and maintained to a very high standard. The staff, to a person, are all attentive, accommodating, knowledgeable and a true reflection of what a five star hotel needs to have to impress. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the A/C is superb and the bathroom is delightful. The dining areas, both inside and out, are a thoroughly pleasant place to sit and enjoy the food and drink on offer. There are, however, a couple of issues do detract from the experience and make the cost hard for me to justify. The whole entrance to the hotel reception and lobby is marble and glass, as are the short walkways to the rooms, which generates a huge echo chamber which amplifies bedroom doors closing, people laughing and general chit chat. Obviously this cannot be avoided but it is frustrating to have to listen to. However the noise from outside is, at times, overbearing as the hotel is situated on Merchant Street (one of the main thoroughfares through the city) and can last until well after midnight. On top of that the continual scraping of tables, chairs or sun loungers both outside on the street and above our ceiling on the roof top terrace is not acceptable in a hotel of this standard. A simple solution is to have two people carrying as opposed to one person dragging. Other little ******* include the pool which is well photographed on the website but is very, very small (plunge pool only), the windows in our room were at knee height with no balcony and the room remained on the dark side during the day. I understand what has tired to be achieved with this hotel and in many, many ways the mission has been accomplished but the issues described above do detract from overall experience. I won’t divulge the cost of the weeks stay as I am not looking for a refund of any kind however I would struggle to justify a return visit. To sum up, the staff and food are this establishments biggest assets (The Under Grain restaurant is a true masterclass in fine dining, the Street Grain restaurant is fantastic as well). The physical structure of the hotel cannot altered and some of my ‘issues’ may never be addressed but others can, and should be. My wife wanted to give a 4 star review which demonstrates that some of what is commented on is down to personnel preference.
