Baia Delphis Resort

We had a double sea view room with a very comfortable large bed, top quality bedding, plentiful supply of lovely toiletries and a balcony with two chairs and a table to sit and enjoy the beautiful view (and the sunrise if you are an early riser!) The junior suites are larger and have their own small gardens and rooftop terraces. Housekeeping staff provided an excellent service. Air conditioning only activates at 23° and it is impossible to lower the temperature. We would have preferred a lower setting as we prefer a cooler room. Bathroom light motion sensor is located too near the door so when light goes off it can’t be reactivated from the far side of the bathroom. This is irritating but only a minor point. The hotel is in a lovely peaceful beach setting with a good and reasonably priced beach bar open until 7pm. We thought the sunbed lawn above the beach would be better without the hedge as this blocks view of and breeze from the sea - although our sunbeds (room 18) had the best location with a view and a breeze, so we were very happy! Beach shoes definitely needed on the pebbly beach, although it is quite a steep incline into the sea. Not a problem for most people, but we only swam in the sea once and preferred the small but fabulous jacuzzi swimming pool! Excellent breakfast buffet with eggs prepared fresh to order and particularly good omelettes. Restaurant food is superb and dinner includes a welcome glass of prosecco and a small savoury appetiser. We ate here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. Highly recommended. Ask the staff to book a table for lunch at Trabocco Cungarelle. If you don't want to drive it is possible to walk along the green cycle/pedestrian path along the coast from the hotel (about 3 km each way). There are only four taxis in Vasto, so make sure you ask the hotel to book a taxi in advance both ways if you want to eat dinner in the town and don't want to drive. If you are flying from Pescara airport it is worth knowing that there is an excellent restaurant on the first floor of the airport. The hotel is quite difficult to find and we kept missing the small turning. There is a small sign on the opposite side of the road, but signs on both sides would help in locating it.

Everything was terrific. Wonderful property. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Baia Delphis if you are visiting the Vasto area.

We stayed here for 5 days and loved every minute of it. The room was beautifully decorated with a rooftop terrace that was perfect for wine and ocean views in the evening. Augustus and Valeria were very kind, patient, and caring doing whatever it took to meet our needs.. Food, drinks and service at the hotel restaurant were all wonderful for both dinner and breakfast. The location is perfect for touring Vasto and for winetasting at the Fonte Fico winery and shoppping in the area. Our weather was fabulous for the most part and floating in the Adriatic on one of the rafts provided was sublime. The drinks and lunch at the pool/bar and grill were great. We also enjoyed the fact that each room has 2 chaises with umbrella designated for it so there are no worries about getting a chair to sunbathe in. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the area. I will concede that it is a bit difficult to find, but once you do, it is so worth it. Hoping to return someday soon. servizio semplicemente perfetto!!! ragazzi giovani, disponibili, professionali e sempre sorridenti. Spiaggia OK (l'erba aiuta molto...) e mare perfetto. camere grandi, moderne e pulite. Breakfast abbondante e freschissimo

... che ho trascorso uno stupendo weekend con mio figlio di tredici anni. E'stato lui dopo una breve ricerca in zona a scovare il posto e a rimanerne per primo entusiasta. Già questo mi ripaga di tutto, compreso il piccolo e stretto tunnel per arrivare a destinazione (ripiegate gli specchietti retrovisori!)! Per il resto mi affianco a chi altrettanto educatamente ha espresso perplessità sul rapporto qualità/prezzo, ahimè non molto equilibrato. Perché in effetti un pernottamento da 380 euro (cena compresa) cozza con un bagno da due stelle a regalargliele, piccolo e poco curato, dall'aria "attempata" con micro-doccia "in plastica", un giardino altrettanto striminzito, anche se il terrazzino abbellisce il tutto (peccato per le formiche però), spiaggetta in ciottoli e mini-piscina al seguito. Cena direi nella norma, certo il menù un po' salato. Il discorso è che non ci vuole molto a rendersi conto di cosa si va incontro e, se non ci si vuole scervellare troppo si apprezza ciò che c'è di buono, chiudendo alternativamente gli occhi sui limiti, tutti però molto migliorabili a suon di buona volontà. Gestire un'attività del genere non è facile, anche se i ragazzi ce la mettono tutta, ma per quanto si voglia applicare comprensione diventa difficile accettare una vacanza "prolungata" a questi costi, un tantinello sproporzionati.

Ritornare al Baia Delphis! Siamo stati accolti come amici. Lo stesso staff dello scorso anno, il mio cuoco preferito dei secondi, Giampiero, si è ricordato subito che, ahimè, non mangio pesce. Mentre gli altri ospiti, spaziavano tra crudi, ostriche e orate, per me il buonissimo agnello abruzzese in vari modi, coniglio ripieno, tartare di manzo, affettati tipici. La bellissima e poco frequentata costa dei trabocchi, il mare cristallino, albe e tramonti dalla camera con giardino e terrazzo attrezzato . Una vacanza perfetta!

Hotel difficile e scomodo da raggiungere. Bellissime camere, nel complesso architettura elegante. Se amate la vita di spiaggia però non fa per voi. La spiaggia praticamente non esiste, sassi e sassolini senza poterti fare un bagno, peraltro anche poco curata. La cosa che ci ha disturbato di più è stata la scarsissima colazione. Barattoli di poveri corn flakes, crostate esposte il primo giorno intere e sostituite nuove fino a che l’ultimo pezzetto languiva solo solo sotto la campana di vetro quindi dopo una settimana. Il solito prosciutto cotto quadrato col povero formaggio trasparente e una ricottina che stava su un cucchiaio. Cornetti e mini bombette numerati. Macedonia di frutta sciroppata o frutta da sbucciare. Mi fermo. Se amate la colazione del mattino varia e abbondante e che vi scegliete da soli senza dover chiedere poi continuamente al cameriere che vi centellina quattro cacchette sul piattino non fa per voi. Quando si va in un posto che si fa chiamare hotel resort la qualità prezzo si vede anche da questo. Costa quanto la Sardegna ma………

Luogo meraviglioso molto rilassante con bellissima vista si può pranzare giù al mare e cenare in terrazza con panorama mozzafiato il cibo molto buono personale gentilissimo sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta pulizia perfetta e dispongono di biciclette elettriche molto comode Grazie di tutto

Non ho trovato immediatamente questo resort nella mia ricerca di una struttura a Vasto. Ma sono felice di averlo scovato perché si è rivelato una piacevole sorpresa. Non mi ha stupito sentire i commenti di alcuni clienti abituali, che dall'estero soggiornano qui ogni anno: soddisfatti della gestione impeccabile, non così scontata in molte zone d'Italia purtroppo. Ristorante assolutamente interessante, ho apprezzato tutto ma nota di merito per le paste ripiene. Tante piccole attenzioni al cliente (come la presenza in spiaggia di materassini gonfiabili che permettono accesso al mare facilitato, vista l'abbondanza di sassi) fanno sentire l'ospite molto coccolato!
