I would 100% recommend this hotel. Room was very clean Bathroom Very clean Air worked perfectly Staff Very friendly and Helpful Coffee was ok, but the tea was good ;) Location was not the greatest, in an Tech Industrial area but very safe. Parking is outdoors and I felt very comfortable parking my car Free breakfast was your typical Hotel breakfast.

My friend and I were traveling to Dublin from California. We were supposed to have a layover in Toronto that lasted an hour. Long story short, due to poor logistics on Air Canada's part, we ended up staying at this hotel for two nights. The staff and amenities at this establishment were a bright light in a nightmare of a trip. Every staff member was friendly. The rooms were clean, and comfortable, and the coffee that is always available was so good. We could not have been more grateful for them. I wish they were allowed train the apathetic employees of Air Canada and show them how its done properly. Thank you to the staff of the Avid Hotel. You really helped make our unplanned trip to Canada pleasant.

It was ok. The lastest we could check out was 12pm, we were about 15 minutes after check out time but it was not an issue. The room itself was clean for the most part. Didn't check for wifi, but from what I understand it was available. Breakfast was complimentary but we didn't stick around for it.

From the moment we checked in till the last day, this staff has been incredible. We are diamond members and travel extensively, this hotel has been a much welcomed break. Natalia took the best care of us. I can’t say enough about her service and attention. Very wonderful person. The food was excellent. Our complements to the chefs. Dinner was so awesome, made with love and that extra touch! we had to keep coming back. Breakfast was also superb and made with love. Great staff. Our stay was fabulous and very appreciated.

1st stay here, 2 nights - our room rate included full hot breakfast in on-site Bistro restaurant & king oversized room which was super roomy - we had a very comfortable seating area with sofa with large ottoman, side table convenient for drinks, large flat screen TV, huge counter/desk work area, fridge, Keurig coffeemaker. We also had a balcony with small patio table & 2 chairs. Room was super clean throughout, private toilet & very modern shower located in adjacent/separate area from sink & vanity - very convenient ! Breakfast choices were varied & excellent, extremely fresh quality ingredients & well prepared, all served hot; very friendly service! Indoor pool, but did not have time to use it! Convenient location, Hwy 400 nearby, IKEA just down the street, Dave & Buster's right next door! Great weekend getaway - will definitely plan to stay here again!

This hotel is beautiful! The beds were so comfy! The staff was incredible since I was booked for two months at another hotel, that hotel cancelled my room and I didn’t know till I had arrived there after a 7 hour drive! I wasn’t impressed! They gave us two rooms that joined up since I was with 4 teenagers . The staff was amazing! Thank you again!!!

Upon arrival was told our 2 bedroom suite was unavailable due to renovations but the front desk attendant was very accommodating and quickly got us into 2 separate rooms of equivalent bed space. Overall loved the cleanliness, and quiet of the building and halls itself. Next time we will look to stay definitely stay longer than 1 night- we will be back before summer is over! Thanks again to the wonderful staff here--you guys are all great.

The staff are wonderful and very friendly. Two minor issues. First, the couch pull-out is terribly uncomfortable. Killed my neck and back. Would have been more comfortable to just sleep on it as a couch, rather than a pull-out. So room could accomodate three people. Maybe kids wouldn't mind the pull-out but my old bones didn't like it. Having said that, the room is great. Nice size, clean. Second minor issue was the breakfast. They offer a better variety of breakfast items, both hot and cold, more so than any other place I have stayed, however I would only know this because I can read the labels. They were out of many items. The kitchen staff were working so hard though to keep up with the volume of people. Best get there early of you want to take advantage of all they offer. All in all, the stay was great, coffee is good and staff are excellent.
