Hotel Post Wrann

My wife and I always enjoy celebrating our Wedding Anniversary in Velden, and we've returned to Hotel Post many times over the years. Unfortunately, the Austrian hospitality from Family Wrann is no longer evident. Instead of the warm welcome we usually receive, my wife and I were just told to place our luggage in a room that we apparently had to find by ourselves. We also noticed that no one offered us towels, nor an entrance card for the beach. When we asked if it were possible to visit on a day we were guests - we were informed that would cost us an additional 44 Euros - even though most of their chairs had been empty day after day......The focus of the discussion was about getting us off their property by 11am. Hotel Post used to serve wonderful, rich breakfasts. But their offering this year were quite meager. No fruit, except for some unripened cantaloupe, and stale bread. Their staff cleaning all around us before breakfast even ended was apparently our signal that we were no longer welcome. During checkout, the only question Vanesa asked us was about a bottle of water we'd consumed from the minibar, and how we were going to pay for it. It's disappointing that Family Wrann is no longer interested in checking with guests during their visit, or receiving feedback when they leave. Hotel Post does have a wonderful Wellness area, but we're perplexed as to why they don't open it until the afternoon. It doesn't matter though, as my wife and I will be closing a different hotel next summer.

Pros: 1.easy check in and check out. 2. Very centrally located near all velden attractions and train station. 3. Beautiful interior. 4. They access to a private Beautiful beach which is a great plus. 4. Breakfast simple and tasty just next to a small river wich is very relaxing. 5. Very nice restaurant in the evening. 6.Excellent value for the money. Cons: nothing to be mentioned. If you are in Velden do not look elsewhere, perfect place.

My friends and I had a wonderful experience again at Hotel Post. Their staff were very friendly and assisted, but there were a lot of detail which did not contribute to a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately, what spoiled our holiday was accommodation. When I forget that the room was a dark dungeon and every early morning we were woken up by the trucks that supplied the hotel . The double room in which we were accommodated (room number 9) did not contribute much to the holiday well-being. The first two days the air conditioning did not work, the third day the wall plugs in the bathroom did not work. The non-functioning of the plugs was subsequently resolved very strangely. Every time we wanted to use the plugs in the bathroom and in the room, we had to turn on the light. When we drew the hotel's attention to the above, he was unwilling to accept our complaint and did not offer us any compensation. Also, the presentation of the hotel is a bit misleading and does not provide accurate information. Example: the hotel is not by the lake, it does not offer 10 mountain bikes, as stated in the offer, etc.

Hotel meraviglioso, molto pulito , stanze bellissime e caratteristiche del posto , colazione a buffet abbondante e di qualità , spa favolosa per trascorrere momenti di relax . Ottima posizione al centro della città a pochi metri dal lago .

Wie immer ein super Erlebnis. Frühstücksbuffet top, das Essen im Restaurant auch immer ein Genuss. Dieses mal hatten wir ein spezielles, super Zimmer erhalten, was den Aufenthalt nochmals verschönerte. Wie immer sehr empfehlenswert. Preis-Leistung und die Lage sind einfach nur unschlagbar. Wir freuen uns bereits auf den nächsten Urlaub bei euch

Toller Service sowohl beim Check-in als auch im Restaurant. Hab ein herrliches upgrade beim Zimmer erhalten, wunderbar zum arbeiten und auch abends im Restaurant bei der Tischwahl und dem Service amTisch alles top. Tolles Team bis hin zum Check-out absolut empfehlenswert.
