Hotel berhampiran Caduta di Edoardo, Venice

I would definitely recommend this ho(s)tel to young people. All the team was kind and helpful, although a very few of them spoke italian. The location is amazing, San Marco and its beautiful surroundings easy to reach by vaporetto number 2 - by the way.. if you are planning to spend at least 2-3 days it‘s worth buying a Venice card. Our bedroom was absolutely clean and the mattress comfortable. Still I would have appreciated one more towel pro person… by the high rate we paid.

We stayed as a couple in October and found the hotel to be conveniently situated in a nice area with easy access to the water bus terminal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice enough with modern design. The shower is on the small side and I found the mattress uncomfortable however my wife found it acceptable. The breakfast was not great and the coffee poor for Italy but there are plenty of places for coffee and breakfast within a five minute walk. Overall I would return to this hotel as it’s an ideal base with clean rooms in a nice area and a convenient location, when visiting Venice your not going to be spending that much time in the hotel.

Un Grande Professionista, persona molto Umana, Professionista che onora il Suo lavoro trasmettendo una gran carica positiva e fa grande l'Hotel PANORAMA, appunto con la voglia di tornare subito. Servizio top. Struttura molto pulita, accogliente in ogni sua parte, impagabile avere la possibilità dalla camera di ammirare Venezia e tutta la sua laguna. The location is super conveninet as it is just near to the main train station. You dont have to drag your luggage or use the water taxi to check in your hotel. Downside is the 1st room was assigned to us is so smelly untill we couldnt take it and call to change another room instead. Luckily the customer officer on duty, he came to our room and take a look and agreed to change us to another room which was actually at the other building. We really appreciate that and he did apologized for what we encounter and give us a complimentary 2 glasses of wine. yet, so much time wasted on check in and check out process, and the hotel has got so much stair, even it bring you to the exact floor but there is still up and down stairs which you have to suffer to carry your heavy luggage in order to check in to your room. I guess thats how most of the European hotel being structured and designed but its so much hassle if u have a heavy luggage to travel around Europe. The 2nd room is bigger yet hot water dint work properly for the 1st night, i was shower in shirvering, and thats probably how i catch my flu! The kettle in the room after we boiled the water, there is a layer of Wax appear on the water surface, which I dont know why and it looks dirty to me.. hence I have asked to change the kettle too, and luckily they bring us a new one which fix the issue. Overall, if you are only loooking for the convenient and doesnt mind so much on the size of the room and comfortability, you can still go ahead with this hotel.

Didn’t stay here but had a meal at lunch time. The spaghetti bolognese was incredible and very reasonably priced! It was away from the busy streets and was a lovely atmosphere. The inside was a little bit dated but would definitely recommend.

I was given a room with Canal view on 2 floor. Staff are helpful in general. 🏨 is just next to the pier ⛴ . There are a few restaurants around the area. Not really suitable for guests with big luggages or with small children because there is no lift in the 🏨.

The hotel itself is very quaint and clean. The problem with this hotel is the very poor customer service from the front desk. Most of us in the group felt that they were very rude and really didn’t want to help us with any of our questions. They can be very short and curt. The evening clerk is as the most willing to assist us. The hotel is in a residential area, which is a very nice neighborhood. To find the restaurants you would need to walk about 15-20 minutes to find any eating places need to go to the main street and turn left to the very end and there you’ll find a lot of interesting places as well as a larger supermarket. Upon asking the front desk person what is there to do on this island? She had replied to whatever you want! He walked away with an attitude. The room itself was fine. It’s a cute hotel. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of being on the main island. It would actually be very tough to move your luggage around the cobblestone roads and multiple stairs on the main island. If I were to come back to Venice again, I would stay at a different hotel, but on the Lido.

While visiting Venice, we stayed at the Hotel Villa Edera. It was a good choice (far from the maddening crowds of Piazza S. Marco). The hotel is in a very lovely area with beautiful houses (there is a supermarket just on the street parallel to the hotel and one on the main road). There are really good restaurants along the main avenue - look out for Bar Pasticceria Garbisa if you're looking after sweet treats. Head to eitherTrattoria alla Botte or Ristorante Gran Viale for lunch or dinner. The staff at the hotel were really accommodating and went out of their way to help us with any queries. The breakfast is really delicious and there is a good choice.

The hotel is in a great location near the Academia bridge, between the Grand Canal and the Guidecca. The courtyard and veranda are great for breakfast or a cocktail. The rooms are well appointed but on the small side. The bed is good as are the linens. The bathroom is small but the shower is a good size. The room attendant was cheerful and did a very good job. The negatives are not great customer service. The hotel does not have an iron to lend a guest. The ice machine broke so for 3 days there was no bar service. Breakfast is appealing the first day but then becomes monotonous as it is the same food every day. The ladies who serve you coffee from the push button machine are surly at best if not in some instances down right rude. The hotel struggles to be three stars because of these shortcomings. It could be much better with very little effort.
