Al Campaniel Bed and Breakfast

Marco and staff were AMAZING! Very accommodating and helpful. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Located super close to a water shuttle/bus stop. Very clean room and comfy bed. Thanks for everything! Would definitely come back here again!

Our stay was lovely. The hosts were kind and gracious. It was easy to walk to the vaporetto and a pleasant walk to San Marco and all the sites. Highly recommend!

The owner of the property was overly accomodating and helped us navigate the city and call taxis.

Lovely B+B with a good breakfast to start the day. It was a really nice, clean room with lots of aminities and plugs to charge our stuff overnight. Would have been very happy to stay longer. Biggest issue was that we didn't know it was near a water-bus stop until we had walked through half of Venice. Connections to St Mark's Square are great!

My boyfriend and I loved staying here. It was brilliant from start to finish. The B&B is in a fantastic location and within walking distance from all the main sights and some lovely local restaurants. There is also a small supermarket just around the corner. It was very easy for us to find when we first arrived too. The room was comfortable, clean and cosy. We enjoyed the free teas, coffees and biscuits in the room - the facilties were great, for example we had a kettle and private external bathroom. The tap water was safe to drink. Overall, it was the perfect base for our stay in Venice. We really enjoyed breakfast which was served by the very friendly host. I think the croissant was the best I have ever had! My boyfriend really enjoyed the ham and cheese with bread too. We were also given a free map - little details like this really go a long way as we used this to navigate for the whole trip! Thank you for a brilliant stay. Hopefully we will come back if we return to Venice!

Amazing value! Great location, quiet but within easy reach of all attractions, even if we did get lost on our way back from a busy day exploring! Marco was friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast. What more could you want?

My first visit to Venice/AlCampaniel was 25 years ago. Since then I have returned on many occasions. What can I say without criticising: The location is perfect and for Venice the price is low. The rooms at the front are VERY noisy and unfortunately I had one this time. Like other reviewers I was badly bitten, presumably by mosquitoes. The breakfasts have been complained about in some reviews. It is a continental breakfast and perfectly adequate. You are offered juice, cereal, cheese and ham and a selection of delicious, fresh bread and croissants- with various preserves. Breakfast is served on the top floor and there is a charming roof terrace if you wish to sit outside. Yes, the place is dated but Marco and his wife could not be more helpful. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for ". There is a small supermarket opposite, a superb panificio (breads and cakes) jn the Campo and just around the corner an excellent bar. What more could you want.

Pu manger dehors, apprécier l'accueil et les suggestions (menu inspiré de Pâques). Bon, bonnes portions, et dans les prix de ce genre d'endroit. Bravo ; un bon début appétissant dans une ville plein de charme. Qui sait si on reviendra ; y a du choix !
