This really is a gem, I was hesitant on sharing my opinion because I didn't want to let the secret out. I obviously a bring Fido kind of traveler and although I was weary at first because its next to the freeway (What motel 6 isnt) I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the check in service was and the room was clean. This particular location is walking distance to Main St. where all the restaurants are located. Cant beat the location and Price. The only downside was not providing soap. Most motel 6's I've visited atleast provide hand soap.

When we arrived, I was told that I had reserved a Accessible room (which I had not; the app did not provide that as an option). I asked if there was a non-Accessible room available, which there was not. In order to provide sufficient space for a wheelchair, almost all furniture in the room had been removed; nightstand, dresser. We could sit in the bed, or one chair. Looking around the room, we found it dirty; baseboards, under sink all needed a good cleaning. Bed seemed to be a full-sized, rather than the Queen we had reserved (this might have been due to the sizing issue above - and to be fair, several years ago there was a guy running up and down California suing small businesses for failing to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, which led a lot of businesses to hastily bring themselves into compliance.) Overall, the staff was nice, but the lodgings left something to be desired. Perhaps it was just the Accessible part, but it left me disappointed with the facility.

82316906 Don’t stay here!! Even though it’s by the Beach you have to deal with the following issues, Homeless people staying there, drug deals going on , people smoking ********* next to your room and the office staff are very rude . The office has you put a parking pass on your dash but I saw 5 different cars parked in the parking lot and homeless people were sleeping in their cars. I saw ************ going on, screaming voices at night, dogs off their leash and what really pissed me off is I was styling there for 10 days, I asked the office to have housecleaning to freshen up my room and they said no,” we don’t service rooms everyday because of COVID , in March of 2023 ? So they handed me some fresh sheets and towels and I had to change my own sheets . Wow . This place is shady, smells, has drug dealers, drug *******, homeless people, foster kids, people who live there. I never got any sleep in the last 10 day
