位置離高速口不遠，左近都是美食街。西班牙風格建築，房間設施老舊但是依然好用。房間不大，但是夠用。冬天暖氣十足，舒服得像家裡一樣。

地點非常好，飯店品質也不錯。

I really loved the place. The staff was very nice when we check in. The room was amazing nice and clean. We had a really good sleep. The breakfast was superb too. Will definitely be back.

What started out as a great visit ended up a great disappointment. We drove down from the Central Coast to attend a performance at a Comedy Club in Oxnard. As we were planning to head down to LA for the weekend, we decided to stay locally in Ventura. As a Lifetime Platinum Member, we were told that two of the three of us (my husband, his sister, and me) would receive a free breakfast. The next morning we preceded to the restaurant. We were asked if we were Elite and I answered affirmatively. We were told that we would all be charged for breakfast, but we could go to the lounge. So we went to the lounge. There they would only admit me and 1 other person. I offered to pay for the 3rd person. Not possible. They wanted me to choose between my husband and my sister-in-law! As a long time guest of the Marriott Corporation, I have often been given breakfast vouchers. In fact, we are at another Marriott right now where we go to the restaurant for breakfast in the morning. The refusal to let the 3 of us into the lounge or to honor our benefit at the restaurant is a sign of bad customer service. For me it is not about the money. It is the principle! I will certainly never be a guest there again and will steer my friends and family away.

Nice large room with comfortable bed. Room decor newly updated and felt clean and modern. Friendly staff during checkin. Hotel is located 15min walk from laidback marina and dining district. Good hotel for a short weekend stay.

I'd describe this as a compact motel backed up against the 101 freeway yet walkable to the ocean shore. Because the freeway access is adjacent there is quite a bit of traffic around here. But once across the street, you're in the Pierpont neighborhood, quite funky, and not generally too busy on weekends. My room was OK but, like I say, there's a bit of freeway noise. Not much in the way of bath amenities and housekeeping was just on call. The Denny's across the freeway access offers guests a free breakfast. But it was too bulky for me. I ate there my first morning but skipped it on my second (and last). Something to be aware of is the small parking area. If you have a larger vehicle you'll probably need to make other arrangements. And if you arrive late, you might have to tight squeeze. Shops are around including a supermarket; downtown and al fresco type Covid era dining is about 1.5 miles away, and beach access is down the street a bit. For a walk try Seaward toward the beach or access the bike trail from San Pedro in the state beach area.
