Logis Auberge de la Vallée Verte

Excellent hotel and restaurant which was just what we needed for one night on our way down to our holiday house. Stayed with our two young children in two rooms with a veranda which had everything we needed. The member of staff we dealt with spoke excellent English but all the staff there were friendly and accommodating. Dinner was fantastic. We had the set menu and a wonderful bottle of wine and they were very accommodating to the children, happily splitting a main meal between the two of them. Their recommendations for food and drink were spot on. Will definitely return.

Wow what a beautiful restaurant…. Easy to find , dedicated parking and then the food. Faultless and absolutely delicious. Charming and attentive staff who couldn’t have been more welcoming. We will definitely be back . Thankyou for a great evening.

Lovely hotel with a very impressive dining room and food to match. Very warm welcome and a comfortable bed, good room and, of all things in a French hotel, tea and coffee making facilities. Good breakfast and an altogether excellent experience. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a night and were impressed by the thoughtfulness of the owner and staff. The room in a separate annexe was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We had an excellent meal with good wine, but the only thing that let our stay down was no breakfast in the hotel on Saturday mornings, just some bits and pieces in the room with a toaster and coffee machine. We hadn't been given the wi-fi code when we arrived and when I needed to go online in the morning the hotel was closed and there was no-one to ask. In spite of all this, we will go back. Dinner was delicious!

De retour dans ce restaurant, nous avons constaté une nette augmentation des prix (180 euros pour 2 personnes), mais pas d'augmentation de qualité. Comme ce sont toujours les mêmes plats proposés depuis des années, nous n'y retournerons plus.

Peu d’innovations à la carte , plus de chef en cuisine ,les commis font ce qu’ils peuvent avec des produits médiocres , trop longues attentes pour être servi. Malheureusement il manque le patron , mais comme dit sa remplaçante « ça sera mieux la prochaine fois ». On rêve ….

Nous allons régulièrement dans ce restaurant qu'on peut appeler "gastronomique" et nous ne sommes jamais déçus - le service est toujours au "top" et le patron est super sympathique et aux petits soins envers ses clients, ainsi que sa fille qui le remplace efficacement en son absence. Nous avons essayé l'hotel qui est très bien agencé et très propre. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner, malgré les 80 kms aller/retour. Je recommande ce très bon restaurant.
