I recently stayed at the Central Vientiane Hotel and had a great experience overall. The hotel is well-located, making it easy to explore the city’s attractions, and it offers a comfortable and relaxing stay. Here’s a breakdown of my experience: Room: I booked a large room, and it did not disappoint. The space was spacious, clean, and well-designed, with good furnishings and a comfortable atmosphere. The bed was good, and room quiet ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. The room also had a safe, which was a great addition for storing valuables, giving me peace of mind during my stay. Bathroom: The bathroom was good for me. It was big, clean, and well-equipped with toiletries. The shower had hot water be careful and the overall design felt nice. It was a refreshing space to unwind after a busy day. Breakfast: The breakfast offered a good range of options to suit different tastes. There was a mix of local Lao dishes and international favorites, including fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and cereals. The quality of the food was very good, and the dining area was pleasant and well-maintained. It was a great way to start the day. Staff: The staff at Central Vientiane Hotel were exceptionally helpful and friendly. From check-in to check-out, they were always ready to assist with a smile. Whether I needed recommendations for local restaurants or help with arranging transportation, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. Overall Experience: My stay at Central Vientiane Hotel was enjoyable. The combination of a large, comfortable room, a big and clean bathroom, a varied breakfast, and the attentive staff made it a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vientiane, whether for business or leisure. It offers great value for money, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had many difficulties at this hotel. What was good: the rooms were clean, despite many negative comments regarding cleanliness. We had all necessary things in the bathroom, hot water, etc. The aircon in the room worked fine and the beds were comfortable to sleep on. Breakfast is quite average and not much food for Western people. There are some things to eat such as fruits, yogurt, cereal, eggs but everything else are Asian food. What was bad: - Check-in was an absolute mess. The reception area looks like a ghost town with only one person checking in guests on a Saturday. We waited very long to be helped. Finally, after long waiting time we reach the room to see that someone else already occupies the room. Due to a severe lack of English from the receptionist, we explained there is someone staying in the room and that we need a different room. He nodded that he understood and typed on his computer, scan a new room key but gave the same room number three times. So three times we had to explain that we need a COMPLETE DIFFERENT ROOM since there are already guests inside. This took very long. We got a new room finally but it was a twin room and not the type of room we booked. - No sound proof walls, we can hear our neighbor coughing in his room at night - The gym is not functional at all. So many broken machines that we were not able to use the gym during our stay. There is also no air conditioner in the gym even for when it’s maintained better. - The elevator buttons are not working properly, the button to close the elevator door doesn’t work at all. Generally this hotel has the potential to be much better. Management seriously needs to improve these shortcomings.

The hotel is centrally located. The price is reasonable and the breakfast is good. The air con, however, is old and therefore not very cool. All in all, it was a pleasant stay for me.

Bit old but decent hotel. seen its best days, but if price is ok, its ok. Noice from the streets passing 1x windows auite easily.bit long walk to places. breakfast quite simple, but omelet, salad and fruits are always plus. no juices.

Good hotel to stay. But bad internet condition ruined my online meeting this time. No help from the hotel.

A bit far from Mekong riverside and sightseeing places. Big room but quite old. Their shower room room has provided the bathtub. Fast check-in & out. Simply ABF breakfast.

The room is quite old. Front desk tried to charge me for a bottle of water from the fridge which I did not take. The morning bfast staff were good in their service though

Only did not like that they don't keep the breakfast food warm. Think such is a must for a high lvl hotel

Comfortable and clean

Good location and great room that has a bath. Older building. 2 things I don’t like. It’s a 4 star hotel but the gym whole good is falling apart almost everything is broken. Hotel is too lazy to fix and another offensive thing is a ************ mafia fake massage shop sharing the hotel car park where they probably get commission. So much for a conservative country it’s illegal but in Laos I guess you just need a bribe. It’s offensive because the government and hotel have given approval yet it carriers a huge prison term for foreigners doing that in the country some of there laws are like North Korea even worse then China

The most boring hotel you can find. The building is shared with some offices so it's quite crowded with many workers during the day ( who will use the same elevator) but the actual number of guests are low, so it's really quiet at night. The room and lobby are spacious but the facilities are old. Breakfast is meh, if there are not a lot of guests then you only get one or two main dishes

Loved it very much, it was very nice

The room had a very good bed, it was clean. The website describes the hotel as having a sauna. The receptionist informed us of having no sauna. The breakfast was good. I wish there was more information at the reception desk helping foreigners travel. For example, connecting them with bus companies, for busses going to Vang Vieng.
